This morning the Storm Prediction center shows no organized severe thunderstorm risk for the US So the main public safety impacts are localized hazards.

Winter weather is in play across the Greater Yellowstone region where the National Weather Service holds winter storm warnings through this evening for Yellowstone national park and the Teton and Gros Ventura Mountains in Wyoming with snow and slick travel expected.

Adjacent Montana ranges sit under winter weather advisories this morning.

Fire weather is elevated in southern Colorado where a red flag warning is in effect this afternoon along the West Coast.

Mariners face gale conditions in parts of Washington waters and a high surf advisory remains for California's central coast.

Southern California also trends toward a weak Santa Ana wind event Tuesday on the East Coast.

Frost and freeze headlines appear across portions of New England early today.

In Florida, a high risk of rip currents continues for the Atlantic beaches.

Heed local beach flags in the tropics.

No US Impacts are forecast.

The National Hurricane center is tracking Tropical Storm Sonia in the Eastern Pacific.

California A high surf advisory continues this morning through 9am Tuesday for the Central coast with dangerous waves and strong rip currents.

A wind advisory overnight into early morning affected parts of Santa Barbara County.

Meanwhile, a weak Santa Ana sets up Tuesday with northeast gusts 35-55 mph in passes and foothills.

Red Flag Warning Noon to 6pm Today across parts of south central Colorado for low humidity and gusty winds.

Florida High risk of rip currents continues today for Atlantic beaches from Palm beach through Miami Dade.

Special marine warnings may occur with fast moving squalls.

Hawaii Breezy trades persist with a small craft advisory in some waters.

Massachusetts Freeze warnings and frost advisories appear early today across portions of southern New England.

Montana Winter weather advisories this morning for the northern Yellowstone region including Big sky and Bozeman tapering by late morning.
