Speaker A

Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.

Speaker A

And this song just keeps coming through me.

Speaker A

Hello, it's me.

Speaker A

Write that song by Adele.

Speaker A

Hello, it's me.

Speaker A

That me.

Speaker A

That me that you, right, you're me.

Speaker A

The me of you, right?

Speaker A

The me.

Speaker A

Hello, it's me.

Speaker A

I want you to imagine for a minute right now who that me is that you are.

Speaker A

And today I want you to go through your day claiming, well, that's me.

Speaker A

The way that I said hello to that person.

Speaker A

That's me.

Speaker A

That was me right there.

Speaker A

That is the real and true and authentic essential nature of who I am on my wheel of freedom.

Speaker A

Me, right?

Speaker A

I claimed that.

Speaker A

I put a pin in it.

Speaker A

Yes, that was me.

Speaker A

The way that I ordered my favorite food.

Speaker A

Yeah, that was me.

Speaker A

That was me.

Speaker A

I love this food.

Speaker A

It makes me so happy.

Speaker A

And I just love the taste on my tongue.

Speaker A

And it just.

Speaker A

That is me.

Speaker A

And, oh, by the way, the way I felt disappointed when somebody didn't call when they said they would.

Speaker A

That is also me.

Speaker A

Getting disappointed isn't a bad thing.

Speaker A

It just tells me how much I care.

Speaker A

It gets dysfunctional and unhealthy when we actually believe that lack of a phone call is a judgment against us.

Speaker A

It's saying something about us.

Speaker A

That's where it gets unhealthy.

Speaker A

That's where it gets discombobulated.

Speaker A

That's where it lies to us.

Speaker A

If somebody calls and they.

Speaker A

Somebody doesn't call and they say they're going to, and you are hurt and you're heartbroken and you're bummed.

Speaker A

That's naturally human.

Speaker A

And then what do you do with that, right?

Speaker A

What do you do?

Speaker A

Then you go, huh?

Speaker A

Wonder what's going on with them today, huh?

Speaker A

Are they okay?

Speaker A

Because you don't make it about you.

Speaker A

You don't make it about you.

Speaker A

Now, if this happens all the time, this.

Speaker A

With this particular person, then, you know, that's their pattern.

Speaker A

That's who they are right now in their wheel of fear.

Speaker A

They are not accountable to the promise of I'll call you later.

Speaker A

That doesn't mean the same thing it means to you.

Speaker A

That takes understanding on your part.

Speaker A

That takes a decision to decide, like, yeah, that's who they are.

Speaker A

I get it.

Speaker A

And that's okay with me.

Speaker A

Or it's not okay with me.

Speaker A

And if it's not okay with you that they don't call when they say, you have to ask yourself, is that based on your need to feel secure, your rigidity?

Speaker A

Or is it that this person, you really need to hear from them by A certain time, because otherwise you feel disconnected.

Speaker A

Maybe it's your mate, my partner, your lover.

Speaker A

So today I want you to come, go through your day and say, yes, that's me.

Speaker A

Like, I take a walk down the street of my house, and there is gardenias and there's jasmine.

Speaker A

And every time there's a gardenia blooming, I stop and smell it.

Speaker A

I don't care if there's one.

Speaker A

I don't care if it's half dead and half alive.

Speaker A

I'm gonna smell it.

Speaker A

I love gardenias.

Speaker A

So I stop and I smell it.

Speaker A

That's me.

Speaker A

I would do that anywhere I was in any city in the world, any state in the world, any country in the world, I would stop and smell that gardenia.

Speaker A

There's also jasmine.

Speaker A

If I go the opposite way down my street and I smell.

Speaker A

And anytime that jasmine's blooming, I stop and smell it.

Speaker A

That's me.

Speaker A

That is me.

Speaker A

I am somebody who literally stops and smells the roses.

Speaker A

That is me.

Speaker A

That is who I am.

Speaker A

That is what I love.

Speaker A

That is me.

Speaker A

That's not me pretending to be somebody who stops and smells the roses.

Speaker A

That is actually who I am.

Speaker A

I have things around my house.

Speaker A

I have things that I do, things that I don't do that are true to me.

Speaker A

So today, your opportunity is just to kind of claim Whenever you see a moment, that's like, yes, you know what?

Speaker A

That is me.

Speaker A

That is who I am at my essence.

Speaker A

Me getting worried about a friend.

Speaker A

That is me at my essence.

Speaker A

I care deeply about the people in my life.

Speaker A

That is me.

Speaker A

Oh, blowing off and not worrying about something.

Speaker A

You know, somebody missing that call.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker A

I mean, I have a moment of concern and I send a text.

Speaker A

Are you okay?

Speaker A

And that is me.

Speaker A

And reading a book at night before I go to bed or meditating a few minutes.

Speaker A

That is me.

Speaker A

That is who I am.

Speaker A

That is something that I want to own and claim as part and parcel of me.

Speaker A

That is who I am.

Speaker A

So let's claim more of ourselves.

Speaker A

Claim more of who we really are so we can see very clearly when we are not being who we are, when we're driven by fear and when we are acting true to ourselves, when we are being our authentic self.

Speaker A

Until next time, be fearless.

Speaker A

I love you.
