Welcome back to another episode of healthy fat because I continue talking about the value and benefits of detoxing. And one of those is weight loss. And a lot of people out there are trying to lose weight is that you? And are you struggling to kickstart your weight loss. What I find when I guide people through a detox program, is it does exactly that it kick starts their weight loss because the toxins weigh something. And as we detox we are also flushing out excess water weight. And we are also shifting the way that we are eating and choosing more nutrient dense meals, which leave you feeling satiated from one meal to the next without needing to snack in between and end up eating more calories than needed. And so over a 21 day detox, the average person will lose anywhere from five to 20 pounds depending how much weight they have to lose before they start. The other thing that detoxing does is it helps to reduce cravings for unhealthy food and substances and promotes healthier eating habits. And as I said, when we're eating nutrient dense meals and feeling satiated from one meal to the next, we're not reaching for quick sugary snacks. And that combined with what I was talking about earlier in my last episode on how detoxing improves energy. Again, when we're short on energy, we're reaching for those quick sugary snacks. And so this is kind of a double whammy to help you not need those quick sugary snacks because you've got better energy and you are eating more nutrient dense meals from delicious recipes that I provide that everybody who's ever gone through my program has found things that they absolutely love, even if they've never eaten this way before. It creates new habits for them that are lasting beyond the end of the detox program and makes this easy for them to add detoxing as a lifestyle habit into their lifestyle. And so I do a seven day detox every quarter and it is what I recommend because the toxins are always coming in. So we need to keep getting them out.
