Let's talk about three words that are going to end every single one of these love notes.

Those three words, I love you.

Now, before you get weird about it, I'm not asking you to marry me and I'm not going to show up at your house for lunch.

This isn't that kind of love.

This is soul love, heart to heart love, human to human love.

Compassion, love, Humanity love.

The kind that says, I see your humanity and I honor it.

And I need you to know I mean it.

Every single time.

Now, here's what usually happens when I say this to people.

Those words, I love you, they push back.

You don't even know me, Rhonda.

How can you love me?

Fair question.

And honestly, I used to ask the same thing.

I used to believe that love had to be earned, that I had to do something and be something, prove something, before I had any right to hear those words from anyone.

And that belief nearly destroyed me because here's what that says.

It said that I wasn't worthy of love, not just for existing, that I had to perform for it, achieve it, be perfect enough to deserve it.

And that's the lie that kept me and millions of people lonely and afraid.

When Robin Williams died, something in me broke open.

Now, me and Robin Williams were not friends, and he wasn't somebody I looked up to and was like Robin Williams.

No, it just.

Something happened.

My immediate thought was, I have to hug the world.

I have to hug as many people as possible.

I wanted to stand on street corners with a sign that said free hugs, but I was drowning in my own dark night of the soul.

And my own insecurities were screaming at me.

And then the pandemic hit.

And then that dream felt really impossible.

But here we are.

More people online than ever before.

More people lonelier than ever before.

More people going through difficulties and not believing they're worthy of love than ever before.

More people waiting for permission to believe that they are enough.

This world is on fire.

And I don't know a single person who couldn't use one extra I love you a day.

So that's what Love Notes is.

It's me standing on my digital street corner offering you what you've always been worthy of.

Unconditional soul to soul love.

Not romantic love, not let's be best friends love.

Soul love, the kind that says you matter.

You're worthy.

There is nothing wrong with you.

Not love if you get your life together.

Not love when you finally fix yourself.

Just love.

Because you're breathing because you're here.

I know it can feel uncomfortable.

I know every part of you may want to resist it.

But here's what I'm asking.

What if you're wrong?

What if someone really can love you heart to heart, soul to soul, without needing anything from you?

I invite you to go through the discomfort, feel the resistance, and then ask yourself, what would change if I believed Rhonda?

If I believed when she said I loved you that there was some truth in it?

Soul to soul.
