Hello podcast. Bam. First of all, I have to say I'm really enjoying these Wednesday releases to the podcast. Um, as you know, I used to drop my episodes on Monday and last week was the first time that we started dropping them on Wednesday. And I just am finding so much more spaciousness in like my recording time for the podcast. And so me sharing this with you is really just permission to change things. If they're not serving you. I was finding that within being due on Monday, I felt like this immense pressure on the weekends, because if I didn't get to like recording them at the end of the week, or if I didn't batch them, it just felt like a lot. Um, and I'm not someone that really likes to work on weekends. I rarely if ever work on my weekends. And so him back. Taking back the reins here, taking back my space and just recording on Mondays from my bed feels really juicy. And so that's what we're literally doing right now. We're recording for you from bed and we're going to give you three marketing shifts that will literally transform your brand and your initial. I shared a little bit of this inside of my free Facebook community. If you're not inside of there, highly recommend getting inside the link to get inside of that. It's right in the show notes of the podcast, you can go in there, click and I'll let you inside of the group. I go live in there now almost every single week right now, lately it's been every single week dropping juicy. 20 to 30 minute jolts trainings for you to implement side of your business. And they've been so good. And this topic got so much feedback that I was like, Hey Noah, we're going to take this and we're going to spin it out a little bit and bring it to the podcast. This is a completely new recording. You're not hearing me live from the Facebook group. I don't really do that. Mainly because there, there are different environments and I actually want these trainings to feel and be different because they're different platforms and you're choosing to listen to me in my Facebook group live, or you're choosing to listen to me on a podcast. And maybe you're hearing this twice. Maybe you're like Michelle, I did watch that training or you're going to go watch. After today's podcast. Awesome. Because one, the more times you hear something it's going to get like ingrained and tight inside of your mind too. They're going to be completely different because anytime I riff on something, it sounds different. You're going to get so much value from both that I couldn't. Help myself or bring this topic to the podcast because it needs to live here for ever. So these are some things that recently, I'd say over the last six to 12 months, I've been implementing inside of my business. And so have my clients, and I'm never going to share something with you that doesn't work. I'm a data driven person. And when I see things are working and I replicate them and I build systems behind them, I'm like, yes, it's working. I can like create a training of out of this now. And I can teach this to my clients and I can. To you. So first and foremost, if you have been in my world for quite some time, you may know this, but if you haven't and you're new here, welcome. I'm so glad that you're here. Let's connect on Instagram. You can follow me and reach out to me over at Michelle Hartman on Instagram. I want to be friends. So first and foremost, I'm not somebody that is going to give you a step-by-step. Here's how to create content blueprint. It's just. Not something that I found that even when I invest in those things that they ever really like super benefited me and my business and my growth. I understand and believe that having processes and understanding how to write content and copy is important. But my guess is if you're listening here, you're not a brand new brand, new business owner, maybe you are. And I'm so glad that you're here. That personally, for me, how I coach my clients, I'm not someone that's just going to give you a carbon copy of here's how I. You go right? Like this, I just, it's just not my vibe. And I really want to invite you to pull your unique voice out your brand and become so magnetic. And ultimately that's, what's going to make you money. So that's what we're diving into today. This is not a step-by-step, here's how to write content that converts not my jam. That's not what we're doing. We do things differently and that's on purpose because we'd like to bring. Well have pick the rules. Like I don't want you to sit here and ever listen to me to be like, ah, I have to go do this thing that I'm dreading doing. No, that's not how we do business. And that's not how it becomes repeatable. You can't replicate from that place. If you hate what you're doing and how you're doing it. So let's get to the goods when it comes to marketing shifts that will transform your brand and your income. First things. First, I want you to trust yourself. I want you to trust yourself, and I want you to trust what is coming through, and I want you to share your truth, even if it scares you. I want you to trust it. Whatever's coming through in this moment. Let's say you're listening and you're me. And you're like Michelle, there's like this thing that has like been on my mind to talk about this thing that I've been wanting to say, but I haven't been saying I've been avoiding it, but not talking about it. Out of fear of, I don't know, maybe somebody judging you at a fear of losing followers and fears out of seeming inadequate, et cetera, whatever it might be. I want you to share it. Even if it's vulnerable, being vulnerable is really like a muscle. We just have to practice it. And so that's the first thing here is trust yourself, trust what's coming through day to day, share your truth, even if it scares you. And when it comes to being vulnerable, vulnerability will make you more. I am never going to be the coach and or mentor that says. Cry on your social media platforms, rip your heart out and let everyone see everything. No, I, I believe that there's a fine line and I think you get to be as vulnerable as you want to be, but here's the thing more than ever. We're creating we're craving real life human connection. And when you can share those glimpses of you that are imperfect, I connect with you. This creates resonance and I'm like, how can I pay you? So I want to invite you to step into practicing that vulnerability. Muscle that you have, because it's really going to take your brand and your marketing a long way now into the official marketing goods. Number one, do you have thoughts? Oh, you asked me that question. I'm asking you if we were face-to-face right now looking at each other and I was like, Hey, do you have thoughts? Do you think things every day you would answer? Yes. Like I it's really a rhetorical question because I know that you think things, I know that you're brilliant. And I know that your mind, especially as an entrepreneur is always going. Always. So you're always thinking things. Yes, yes. Post them, your thoughts will make you so much money, so much money. I kid you not the things that you're thinking that you're like, oh, this is silly. Or like, I can't believe I just had that thought or like this kind of made me giggle, whatever it is. Like your thoughts throughout the day can literally be post. That can make you so much money. And the one thing I want to invite you to do is not edit to not over edit. Um, because what happens then is you, you create your thoughts. You like write the post out and you're like, Ooh, this is juicy. And you're like, but I could say it better, but I could say it like this, but maybe I don't want to piss this person off. Maybe I want to like clean this up. So this person's not offended. Or these types of people aren't offended. I want you to post your thoughts, how you would actually say them. If we were in a coffee shop, having a conversation, how would you speak to me? That is going to create like a really magnetic brand, because I'm going to hear your actual voice, how you speak, how you would say it. If you curse curse, if you don't curse, don't curse, don't just create things to feel like you need to do what everyone is doing or say what everyone's saying or say how they're saying it. It's actually going to benefit you when you're speaking. So. Truly to one your thoughts, but also how you actually speak and articulate things and say things it'll make you so much more money. Now with that, with sharing your thoughts, something I want you to play with whenever you're living, this is going to sound weird. Let me think about my thoughts for a moment, how I want to verbalize this too. Whenever you're like going throughout your. And you're like, Ooh, that's a really good post. Or, Ooh, I can't believe I thought that's something I like to do. And I want to pour this into you. Is I like to put it in the notes section of my phone and or if I'm driving, I will voice audio it to myself, whether that's through boxer or like the app on the iPhone, I have an iPhone. So I don't know what it's like on Android and such. And I'm sure that they have that same feature. I will just voice my it to myself so that I. Remember that, and then I can come back and post it. And again, when your either voice memory, you get to yourself or you're, you're typing it out to yourself and your exact thought process, the way in which you're thinking in that exact moment, it's going to be so powerful. It's going to be so powerful and that's going to make you a lot of money. It's also going to get you out of this place of like, what's the perfect thing to post. And what's the perfect thing to say. And all the gurus are telling me to do this and it feels exhausting. And when I try to do. The way they're telling me, I have nothing to say. How many times does it happen to you? It happens to me even now. I haven't post ready to go out. I was giggling as I was writing it. I'll share a little bit of it with you here because it's coming through me to share. I put it, I credit a post that says I haven't done a reel in four weeks plus now since writing that post and. Nothing happened, like, guess what happened from doing that? Like literally nothing. I didn't, nothing happened. My business didn't die. People are still buying. Thousands are coming in. My clients are really happy businesses growing because I'm marketing the way in which I prefer to market. I'm not sitting here saying don't do reels and I'm not saying I'm never going to do a reel. I just don't prefer to do reels like their reels and tick talks. Now my thing right now is just not, and that's okay. I'm not saying it's never going to be, and I'm not saying I don't teach them. And I'm not saying I'll help my clients with them. And not saying they don't create them because they do, but on their terms and some clients create them and love them and obsess over them. Some of my clients don't and some of them had a happy medium and they're fucking rocking. Rocking it. So my point with bringing this to you is the way in which you share these thoughts or share your content also gets to be unique to you. How do you want to share it? I personally am like a path of least resistance, this the quicker and easiest way I can get it up there is like as my jam. So I'm probably going to type it in the note section on my phone, screenshot it and put it up there. Maybe I'll put it on a canvas. Decorative thing, maybe it will be a photo of me with some text on it. Maybe it's going to be a real, really just depends on what's going on in my life. Um, my mood, when I'm w the way in which I want to present those thoughts, it gets to be unique to you and it gets to all work. It all gets to work. Number two thing I want you to think about this is so fun for me to think about every single day I'm obsessed with it, and you guys love it. And what I mean by that, you. On my social media platforms, following me on Instagram and Facebook, et cetera, this keeps you engaged. This is why you keep coming back. Obviously you love all the business stuff. That's why you're listening to the podcast, but you like love the life things. So if I were to follow you around all day long, let's say I was just like following you. And you're like, Michelle, you're really annoying me. You were just following me, but let's say I was following you around. What would I learn about you? That I don't know. What would I learn? They give you the simplest things, but so often we think that we're so boring. I can't tell you last year. I can't tell you how many times I had touched my mentor. I think I was so boring. I said that to her, that was like something I truly identified with. And it was so interesting because I was also in a mastermind at that time. And my mastermind sisters were asking them, Michelle, your content and the way in which you share and bringing con and the dog and everything is your brand. It's so entertaining. Like how do you go about doing that? Huh? This is interesting feedback because here I am thinking I'm so boring. Cause I'm not like loud and I'm not super expressive. And I don't like hot, hot pink and bright colors. Um, I'm just a neutral kind of gal. And I thought that that made me boring. I really identified with that for quite some time. That was something I really had to work through. And it was so interesting to get that feedback. And it got me thinking like, It's because I share things that you guys don't necessarily know unless I tell you. So what I want you to practice with this is share three to four things per day that like, we don't know, unless we like follow you around. What are those things that we would learn about you? Something about me. Um, but I haven't shared what you might know is like I wear jeans almost every day. Almost everyday. I guess I work from home. Yes. I sit on my couch. Yes. I'm recording a podcast in my bed with jeans on. I just like love jeans, especially mom jeans, like, oh, thank you, gen Z. Like, yes, obsessed. I'm obsessed with mom jeans and a cute graphic tee or like a little tank top. That's like my jam. That is what you will find me in 99% of the time. If I'm not in that, I'm in a matching little shorts and sweatshirt outfit. That's like, what? Uh, repeatable alpha outfit. Or also if I find something I like I'm ordering it and every single color, that's what I do. Those are like quirky things about me that I just shared with you that you're like, I really resonate with that. Or like, Michelle, you wear jeans everyday, flipping crazy girlfriend. You're like, I hate that, but I love you, but I wouldn't do it Michelle. Right. But these are things that you're learning about me that allow you to see me as such a human. And that's what your people want. What are three to four things that you could share per day that are so. At are so real that there are things we don't know about you, you can even create a reel on, it can even create post on it. Like we, when they want to invite you to do, I saw this this morning on someone's post. I forget whose post it was. Um, but I barely scroll, but I had just gotten on the app this morning and it said, um, stop taking content and posting so serious. So I want to give credit where credit's due and that's like, that's. So it it's like stop taking it so serious. Stop trying to make it perfect any time. And you might resonate with this any time. I'm trying to find like the exact perfect words to market the thing in the most perfect way. I normally get like all up in my head and it normally doesn't convert and it's like, doesn't sound like me. And it's like, oh, like I'm just trying too hard. And I put out a post a couple weeks ago that said like the less folks I give them more money. I make I'm a firm believer. I'm a firm believer of that play. Yeah. Play, play Palais. Lastly, number three today, be vulnerable. We touched on this a little bit in the beginning of today's episode, but your realness, your flaws, your shit that you're navigating, or that you have navigate. That feels like I'm going to pee my pants, like share this, the posts that feel like when you go to post them, you want to take them down immediately. It's like a board. The mission. No, I don't want to do it. That's why people will buy those posts that meet you at your edge is why people. I have put posts out like that, especially over the last couple of months, a few that I can really remember when I put them out there. I remember going into the mastermind. I'm currently in a mastermind right now and I've one-to-one mentor. And I remember going to the mastermind that I'm in. Um, and I was like, guys, I put out a post right now and I'm like, um, I want to take this thing down. It is, my heart is palpitating. Like this feels scare brewery. And so many people came forward from the. So many people bought it didn't I didn't post it just so people bought that wasn't the intention. It was real, it was truthful, it was vulnerable, but there was connection and there was a resonance. It, the scarier and the edgier the better, if it doesn't scare you, is it worth posting? You know? And not every post needs to be like this, but I mean, if you're holding back, you know, like, you know, when you're holding. And like, I I'd question, why am I holding back and what am I afraid of? And then move through that and then share the real truth, not the filtered truth. And then, um, one last thing I want to give on this is in April, you guys know we've been through a lot lately. Um, if you've listened, especially to the last couple of podcast episodes, And, or follow me closely on Facebook. You know, we are dealing with a lot personally, as a family we're navigating and grieving and going through some stuff. Um, and I shared that in April. I put out her, I put out an honest, vulnerable, truthful post. I immediately wanted to take it down immediately. I was like, oh my God. I feel like I'm literally showing you guys like showing up on my stories naked. It felt like, oh my God, Oh, my God, like I'm naked in front of everybody right now. It felt terrifying. But you guys connected with that so much and you'll appreciate it. That you appreciated the lack of perfection. You appreciated the truth and the realness and the vulnerability. You appreciated all of that. That's what I've got for you guys today. These three points. I want you to hone in on them. I want you to take them home. I want you to implement them, and then I want you to message me on the socials and let me know how it goes. I love you. You wealthy woman. You I'll see you on the next episode.
