what are you doing with your life
Speaker:that sounds like bro
Speaker:no hey
Speaker:you be like what are you doing with your life bro
Speaker:you're 20 years old you're
Speaker:you have nothing you're working a fucking job
Speaker:you're talking to all these girls like
Speaker:stop talking to girls stop chasing dopamine
Speaker:like I would just be like OK bro
Speaker:OK bro
Speaker:Mark thank you very much for coming
Speaker:this whole business has been
Speaker:I wouldn't say it's rainbow sunshine every single time
Speaker:but I haven't had that point where like
Speaker:I'm like like
Speaker:I'm in too deep like
Speaker:what do I do now I haven't had that yet
Speaker:OK but I definitely do see myself having one of those
Speaker:because if everyone if everyone's had it then oh it's
Speaker:it's coming It'll happen to you
Speaker:it's coming every entrepreneur feels this way right
Speaker:you end up working more than a 9 to 5
Speaker:on your own business oh yeah
Speaker:wait a nine to 5
Speaker:you work at eight hour maybe okay
Speaker:nine hour shift there's days where I'm working 12 13
Speaker:14 like
Speaker:all day literally
Speaker:because you're building something for yourself
Speaker:comfortability has killed more dreams than like
Speaker:laziness and lack of capital and lack of knowledge
Speaker:that drive that push you to where you are at right now
Speaker:it's not the same drive
Speaker:that's gonna keep you in the game
Speaker:exactly exactly
Speaker:so you have to recalibrate
Speaker:I don't feel like I'm meant for
Speaker:just working a dead end job
Speaker:in a sense right
Speaker:I didn't know what that was
Speaker:until I Learned all these other possibilities
Speaker:that there's money out there online
Speaker:money to make you just gotta learn that skill
Speaker:I don't see why not take that risk
Speaker:and just go all in and bet on yourself right
Speaker:yeah if you fail
Speaker:at least at least you tried
Speaker:yeah you tried and you Learned
Speaker:exactly you try and you learn
Speaker:and not like Ricardo like
Speaker:not everyone goes ahead
Speaker:and actually takes that risk to learn
Speaker:so a lot of people just stay comfortable
Speaker:watch from the sidelines and just be like okay
Speaker:like he's doing it he's gonna fail whatever
Speaker:like once you make it they'll be like oh
Speaker:he got lucky right
Speaker:he's just one of those few people
Speaker:but they don't see the back end
Speaker:they don't see all those time
Speaker:and hours put into the work
Speaker:why not take that risk and just make it happen
Speaker:do you think
Speaker:you would have ended up where you are today
Speaker:if it wasn't for having that person in your corner
Speaker:especially in the beginning right
Speaker:uh huh especially in the beginning
Speaker:uh yeah man
Speaker:if it wasn't I mean
Speaker:real quick if you're watching this on YouTube
Speaker:hit the like button drop a comment
Speaker:subscribe so you don't miss any future episodes
Speaker:and if you're listening to this on a podcast platform
Speaker:leave us a review it'll help us out big time
Speaker:and it'll let us know
Speaker:that you guys actually like what we're putting out
Speaker:alright let's jump right in
Speaker:Mark thank you very much for coming
Speaker:of course I appreciate it
Speaker:I think we've been trying to do this for a while now
Speaker:but I know you're a busy man
Speaker:so tell me what is it that you do
Speaker:yeah man
Speaker:I mean to keep it simple
Speaker:I'm a Amazon seller OK uh
Speaker:officially became a six figure seller like a week ago
Speaker:I've been doing Amazon for like six months now six
Speaker:seven months mm hmm
Speaker:and um
Speaker:I just basically go to these retail stores right
Speaker:or online shopping I find products for the low
Speaker:and just flip them on Amazon
Speaker:basically
Speaker:a website that's just growing every single day
Speaker:not as it come to be how did you find this
Speaker:I actually saw it through a friend of mine
Speaker:and he went ahead and taught me
Speaker:and I'm very grateful for him right
Speaker:he taught me all the basic foundations
Speaker:uh how to get started
Speaker:the skills to learn what to do
Speaker:what not to do
Speaker:and just been slowly mastering day by day
Speaker:bro I know
Speaker:when we met
Speaker:maybe under a year ago you were telling me
Speaker:that you were on the way to doing $10,000 a month
Speaker:how has it been ever since
Speaker:do I remember that we were at the gym yep
Speaker:my my first goal was like
Speaker:I'm gonna hit 10K that's my goal
Speaker:mm hmm
Speaker:and then I mean
Speaker:I did it bro
Speaker:I think my August I hit an 8K month
Speaker:and then September my goal was 10 k
Speaker:like I
Speaker:what I like to do bro
Speaker:I always I have a whiteboard right yeah
Speaker:I like to write down my goals every single month okay
Speaker:the beginning of the month
Speaker:I'll be like these are my goals
Speaker:I'm gonna hit this hit this
Speaker:hit this I believe in like
Speaker:manifestation just
Speaker:like word yeah
Speaker:affirmation yeah
Speaker:very heavy on that that's what I did
Speaker:I ended up um
Speaker:writing my goals I'm gonna hit 10K this month
Speaker:September 25 and then looking at that every single day
Speaker:putting in the work putting in the hours
Speaker:you know finding the right products
Speaker:doing all that stuff before I even knew it
Speaker:I had surpassed that I was at 15 k yeah
Speaker:and I was like no way right yeah
Speaker:and then I ended that month at 25 k okay
Speaker:and then what happened I was like
Speaker:it's true bro
Speaker:like this is real
Speaker:like that changed my whole perception on like
Speaker:online money and like
Speaker:actually
Speaker:it's it just showed me that
Speaker:it's possible to accomplish something
Speaker:if you put your head like
Speaker:head and mind into it you know what I mean
Speaker:yeah and ever since then
Speaker:25 k and then October
Speaker:same thing it came around
Speaker:um I think it was like no September 30th
Speaker:31st I forgot whatever the last day is right
Speaker:and I wrote my goals I'm gonna hit a 30 k month
Speaker:and I did I think I did 31 k
Speaker:mm hmm same thing
Speaker:and then November I uh
Speaker:I got my car I got my
Speaker:my dream car my Supra
Speaker:the Supra bro
Speaker:which same thing bro
Speaker:it's just it's crazy
Speaker:like you tell yourself you're gonna do something
Speaker:and you believe it and
Speaker:you know show up and do the work for it
Speaker:ends up happening I remember I told myself
Speaker:I'm gonna get to Supra before the
Speaker:before the year ends yeah
Speaker:I wasn't even doing Amazon back then
Speaker:when I gave myself that goal
Speaker:it was like February
Speaker:I was like somehow
Speaker:one way or another
Speaker:I'm gonna have a super by the end of the year
Speaker:and that opportunity came around November
Speaker:I did it and I'm just very grateful
Speaker:in the position I'm in right now
Speaker:every single day I just like to grow grow
Speaker:I think this month I'm on pace to hit a record month
Speaker:I'm at like
Speaker:18K 18 k so far
Speaker:we're the 15th damn
Speaker:so hopefully fingers crossed 40
Speaker:hopefully maybe 40
Speaker:yeah man
Speaker:what what does it take to sell on Amazon
Speaker:cause I know for a fact like
Speaker:I haven't personally but I know friends that have tried
Speaker:maybe did a couple sells like
Speaker:here and there every week
Speaker:and then that was about it
Speaker:and then never heard from it again
Speaker:I think like
Speaker:what does it actually take to succeed
Speaker:I think um
Speaker:discipline for sure right
Speaker:cause not every single day is gonna be a amazing day
Speaker:right uh
Speaker:there's days where I for example
Speaker:right now this December
Speaker:I've been averaging like $1,000 plus uh
Speaker:sales every single day uh
Speaker:but the last two days I've done
Speaker:I'll be honest um
Speaker:I've done like I did three
Speaker:60 I think two days ago
Speaker:and then yesterday I did like 800 wow
Speaker:don't get me wrong it's still like
Speaker:I know me like when I first started
Speaker:I would have been like praying for like 300 dollar days
Speaker:300 dollar days yeah
Speaker:yeah yeah
Speaker:and then um
Speaker:it's just like
Speaker:not every single day is gonna be amazing day
Speaker:mm hmm so
Speaker:I think
Speaker:what tends to happen with a lot of people who begin
Speaker:they expect too much like straight out the bat okay
Speaker:they just wanna get you know
Speaker:all these numbers all these numbers
Speaker:all these numbers
Speaker:and then they'll run into like
Speaker:those slow slow days or these roadblocks maybe uh
Speaker:it's a product game right
Speaker:you find good profitable products
Speaker:and let's say one day they wake up and the product
Speaker:that listen's gone right
Speaker:cause sometimes that tends to happen
Speaker:the listen will just either get tanked
Speaker:meaning the seller will get on it
Speaker:another seller and just tank the prices
Speaker:the margins are gone
Speaker:let's say I bought like 30 units of that product
Speaker:expecting to like make
Speaker:I don't know like $5 profit
Speaker:and then I wake up one day
Speaker:another seller is doing tank the price by like $10
Speaker:now my profit's like a dollar
Speaker:and I have 30 units lying around
Speaker:so a lot of people give up
Speaker:when they run into those kind of roadblocks
Speaker:so what I like to say is
Speaker:it's always worth it to invest in yourself
Speaker:and learn from someone who's already done it
Speaker:okay and
Speaker:what tends to happen with a lot of people who give up
Speaker:either they 1
Speaker:they got lazy or number two
Speaker:they just never actually invested into themselves
Speaker:and into like
Speaker:a mentorship right
Speaker:you could say someone who's been there
Speaker:done it experienced the roadblocks
Speaker:experienced all the errors
Speaker:and Learned from it
Speaker:and now they can help you avoid all those beginner uh
Speaker:beginner rookie mistakes
Speaker:so that's what I did right
Speaker:I had a I had a mentor
Speaker:his name is Faraj he helped me out a lot
Speaker:avoiding the beginner mistakes
Speaker:because I know other people who tried it right
Speaker:people who told me as well
Speaker:yeah like bro
Speaker:it's not gonna work out like
Speaker:you're gonna run into this
Speaker:you're not gonna be able to list products
Speaker:cause Amazon it's all about uh
Speaker:ungating and gating basically
Speaker:if you can sell it or if you can't sell that brand
Speaker:right hmm
Speaker:and they're like yeah
Speaker:like 99% of the items you're gated for
Speaker:it's worth it's not worth your time
Speaker:you're gonna spend way too much time trying to like
Speaker:sell your first products
Speaker:but there's a people who just either never tried it
Speaker:or just tried like you said
Speaker:and then gave up hmm
Speaker:so I think it just comes down to my discipline
Speaker:willing to put in the work
Speaker:and just show up on the days where like
Speaker:it's even it feels like the end of the world
Speaker:like you're not making progress
Speaker:because at the end of the day
Speaker:if you show up every single day
Speaker:you're bound for success right
Speaker:yeah exactly
Speaker:so hundred percent
Speaker:it's it's interesting cause you talk about like
Speaker:how mean like in the beginning you did the 10 k
Speaker:20 k 30 k
Speaker:now you're hoping to do 40 k
Speaker:yeah I know
Speaker:that scale just basically means
Speaker:either sell more product or work on the marketing way
Speaker:marketing wise but
Speaker:don't you think that only relying on a single channel
Speaker:being Amazon is kind of like jeopardizing
Speaker:um the whole way of the business working
Speaker:would it would not
Speaker:like maybe opening up to a different channel
Speaker:maybe like either eBay or starting like
Speaker:an own website would work better
Speaker:yeah 100%
Speaker:I mean the like
Speaker:the way I see it bro
Speaker:is like I wanna master this skill the most I can first
Speaker:OK learn everything there is to it
Speaker:and then maximize my profit off it right
Speaker:my end goal with Amazon is to eventually have my own
Speaker:have it fully automated right
Speaker:have my own warehouse have my own workers
Speaker:uh meaning
Speaker:like someone who ships out my orders
Speaker:packages the orders prints out the labels
Speaker:basically I want to get to the point where all I
Speaker:all I say or do is just yes
Speaker:let's buy that product no
Speaker:let's not buy that product
Speaker:do this do that
Speaker:don't do that don't do this right
Speaker:mm hmm but I definitely do see myself
Speaker:with 2026 around the corner
Speaker:I have some goals definitely
Speaker:I wanna expand
Speaker:I'd like I'm for sure gonna do e commerce
Speaker:right OK
Speaker:now that I'm doing Amazon
Speaker:like that's my thing
Speaker:e commerce OK
Speaker:I wanna explore Walmart
Speaker:Walmart's also a great platform to sell stuff
Speaker:so I wanna dive a little bit into that
Speaker:and there's this new
Speaker:I don't know if you've heard about whatnot
Speaker:have you heard about that
Speaker:I've heard about whatnot I'm not sure what it is though
Speaker:yeah me
Speaker:I'll be it's
Speaker:I don't really know much to it
Speaker:but apparently a lot a lot of Amazon sellers
Speaker:Walmart sellers are
Speaker:or eBay sellers are on it simply to liquidate items
Speaker:let's say liquidate items yeah
Speaker:what I mean by that is like
Speaker:let's say Halloween right
Speaker:Halloween one of my biggest sellers
Speaker:my best sellers was Halloween costumes
Speaker:like these like Marvel costumes
Speaker:Spider Man costumes I sold maybe
Speaker:like 200
Speaker:300 units of those and let's say I have like
Speaker:2030 leftover obviously
Speaker:they're not selling out cause Halloween's over
Speaker:yeah so the demand's not there
Speaker:but I have it at home so what I
Speaker:what you would do what these other sellers are doing
Speaker:is they get on whatnot which is like a live stream
Speaker:and in these live streams
Speaker:you just go live and offer the items you have
Speaker:and people just bid for it and buy it
Speaker:so it's just a way to quickly get rid of items
Speaker:just sitting there so it's like what eBay was basically
Speaker:I guess yeah
Speaker:I mean I never really sold on eBay
Speaker:I think I tried when I was younger
Speaker:bro I don't know
Speaker:if you've ever had your drop shipping phase
Speaker:when you were younger I
Speaker:so it's funny cause it was um
Speaker:I think it was actually my dad who showed me some guy
Speaker:like a
Speaker:advertising a course for dropshipping with Shopify
Speaker:really and I dove into it for like
Speaker:a little bit and then I was like
Speaker:this probably not for me ha ha
Speaker:yeah no
Speaker:I remember I was uh
Speaker:I was 15 years old it was quarantine
Speaker:mm hmm so I was at home playing video games
Speaker:and I would just see all these like
Speaker:dropshippers on my feed on YouTube and stuff
Speaker:and I was like let me give it a shot
Speaker:I didn't really learn too much about it
Speaker:but I remember uh
Speaker:you know Facebook Marketplace
Speaker:yeah so what I did is I found these
Speaker:at that time I was getting into fitness
Speaker:like the gym I was just starting out
Speaker:and I didn't go to a gym like
Speaker:I didn't do weights or anything
Speaker:I would just simply run every single day
Speaker:and I had those like weighted um bands right
Speaker:the okay bands
Speaker:yeah yeah yeah
Speaker:so I was like I use this
Speaker:I thought about was like
Speaker:there's probably other people like me who want this
Speaker:right so okay
Speaker:many product so what I did is I listed um
Speaker:I went on YouTube
Speaker:Learned a little bit on how to dropship
Speaker:through Facebook okay
Speaker:which is pretty simple um
Speaker:I just didn't stick to it because I was 15
Speaker:I was just play had
Speaker:all my other priorities were video games and friends
Speaker:but what I did was I got those
Speaker:what I would do is I would list on marketplace
Speaker:these pictures of the resistance bands right
Speaker:and I only offered shipping
Speaker:I didn't offer like
Speaker:come pick up to my house or this location
Speaker:I only offered shipping and what I would do is
Speaker:anytime someone would place an order
Speaker:from the marketplace through Facebook
Speaker:I would go ahead obviously
Speaker:I get their information when they place an order
Speaker:I get their name and I get their address
Speaker:I would go on eBay eBay would be like my Alibaba right
Speaker:I would go on eBay and I'd buy it off eBay for like
Speaker:10 bucks and I was selling it on Facebook for like
Speaker:I think it was like 25 or 30
Speaker:30 really
Speaker:yeah for resistance bands
Speaker:yeah
Speaker:it was like a crack of like 12 or something like that
Speaker:okay yeah yes
Speaker:I was only for like 25
Speaker:and so all I would do is every time I would get
Speaker:so on marketplace
Speaker:I would go on eBay and place that order
Speaker:and send it straight to the
Speaker:to the guy whoever ordered through marketplace
Speaker:to their address
Speaker:so basically it's like they ordered from eBay
Speaker:but I'm just like the middleman
Speaker:yeah yeah
Speaker:so that's what I did okay
Speaker:I had I think that lasted me like a week and a half
Speaker:I cause I what
Speaker:I'll be honest what
Speaker:like demotivated me cause I
Speaker:I did that I did the resistance bands
Speaker:I did guitar straps cause I'm very
Speaker:very big into music OK
Speaker:I do piano I do guitar
Speaker:all that stuff
Speaker:I'm like a family band with my uncle and stuff
Speaker:so I was like uh
Speaker:I'll do let me try selling some guitar stuff
Speaker:I tried these guitar picks
Speaker:I think I sold like two of those
Speaker:same thing through the eBay
Speaker:Facebook method and then I did uh
Speaker:what messed me up was I did these leather guitar straps
Speaker:okay and I got
Speaker:I think I got like 3 4 orders
Speaker:and they were all horrible reviews
Speaker:they're like don't buy from me
Speaker:oh you didn't check the reviews
Speaker:yeah yeah yeah
Speaker:so like when they
Speaker:when the customer received their order
Speaker:from me they ended up being
Speaker:I think they expected like
Speaker:high quality premium leather
Speaker:it was like cheap
Speaker:horrible leather so that was like
Speaker:my mistake I should have bought it first and like
Speaker:review the product myself first
Speaker:but I think that's what like
Speaker:opened my mind in the beginning to like
Speaker:there's possibility out there to like
Speaker:make online money I was 15
Speaker:gave up uh 16 17
Speaker:18 19
Speaker:I'm 20 now and I guess five years later
Speaker:I actually picked it up
Speaker:and now I'm actually committed to it
Speaker:damn yeah bro
Speaker:but I think we've all had that little phase
Speaker:where we want to try something when we're young
Speaker:yeah yeah
Speaker:I mean in my case I think
Speaker:the clothes I've ever been to
Speaker:that was I've never really shipped anything out
Speaker:I was always the one that was either like
Speaker:reselling shoes or at some point
Speaker:reselling candy reselling candy
Speaker:reselling candy but how do you do that
Speaker:yeah so that
Speaker:that's the sketchy part you know
Speaker:you would just I would um
Speaker:I would go to five below hmm
Speaker:I would grab a bag of just full of candy
Speaker:okay but then I would grab another bag full of candy
Speaker:and just pay for one how
Speaker:I don't know how it worked out
Speaker:but it worked out for it worked out for a long time
Speaker:and I would sell candy that way
Speaker:but I don't know I would
Speaker:I just never
Speaker:where would you resell it at school
Speaker:oh so it's like a school
Speaker:yeah you're like that kid with the backpack
Speaker:like come on
Speaker:literally literally just anything from
Speaker:from candy to snacks and it was just
Speaker:my little brother did that when he was in sixth grade
Speaker:like three years ago yeah and
Speaker:and cause um
Speaker:people would come up to me and be like
Speaker:well I'm not paying $3 for a bag of Cheetos
Speaker:I'm just like alright
Speaker:then you can walk your ass to like 7 11 and go get them
Speaker:and they're like alright bro
Speaker:so it's like uh
Speaker:selling out of convenience
Speaker:selling out of um
Speaker:like uh
Speaker:the demand like
Speaker:you know supply and demand and stuff
Speaker:so talking about supply and demand
Speaker:how do you know which products are going to
Speaker:either have the potential to pop off
Speaker:or which ones do you know
Speaker:are the ones are probably not
Speaker:because there's like a million
Speaker:a thousand like thousands of products
Speaker:yeah so
Speaker:hey real quick
Speaker:if you're still watching or listening congratulations
Speaker:you don't have the attention span of a goldfish
Speaker:and it also seems like you like what you're listening
Speaker:or watching so why not subscribe
Speaker:leave a comment like or if you're in a podcast platform
Speaker:leave us a review it helps us out more than you think
Speaker:alright let's get back into it
Speaker:so what we do right
Speaker:is something called sourcing
Speaker:so sourcing is basically
Speaker:we have this software it's called selleramp
Speaker:the software itself
Speaker:actually gives us analysis on the product
Speaker:let's say this drink right here
Speaker:yeah I can check
Speaker:I can open up on the software if it's on Amazon right
Speaker:if there's a listing on Amazon
Speaker:and I can see all the previous history for like
Speaker:the past year or two years
Speaker:all time history right
Speaker:how it's been selling throughout the months
Speaker:throughout the past three years
Speaker:okay I see what you mean
Speaker:and then there's like there's so much to it
Speaker:but basically you would just focus on like
Speaker:looking at the actual history
Speaker:if it's a if it's sales
Speaker:if it's a seasonal or if it's a year round product now
Speaker:I guess more so supply and demand
Speaker:especially since a Q4 Q4
Speaker:the holidays right
Speaker:we have like imagine Halloween
Speaker:Thanksgiving and Christmas
Speaker:yeah so like
Speaker:imagine Halloween I already knew
Speaker:I think we all know like
Speaker:pumpkin themed stuff everyone goes crazy for
Speaker:so when Halloween came around
Speaker:I was like okay
Speaker:I know what I'm gonna sell
Speaker:I'm gonna look I'm
Speaker:I know what I'm gonna source for what
Speaker:I'm gonna do my research for what kind of products
Speaker:I did candy
Speaker:Halloween costumes and pumpkin flavored items
Speaker:right right
Speaker:baking stuff or uh
Speaker:cookies or whatever yeah
Speaker:so that's what I would that's what I had in mind
Speaker:I was like alright
Speaker:I'm gonna do this I'm gonna do this
Speaker:I'm gonna look for these kind of products
Speaker:and don't get me wrong like
Speaker:it's not like I found the products instantly
Speaker:it took me like I guess like the first two weeks
Speaker:so seven days 14 days of like
Speaker:actually sourcing
Speaker:and going through thousands of different products
Speaker:cause Amazon millions of products out there
Speaker:and having to check the seller history
Speaker:the good thing about it is
Speaker:on October
Speaker:I actually had hired my first employee by then right
Speaker:my virtual assistant so at the same time
Speaker:I was training her how to find products
Speaker:how to source right
Speaker:everything I knew I was training her
Speaker:so it was her and I working together
Speaker:yeah she would find products
Speaker:I review it with her every single day
Speaker:we get on a call like at ten PM and okay
Speaker:good job on this product why did
Speaker:why you did that why you didn't
Speaker:why you you know
Speaker:how you could improve
Speaker:and together we just found really good products
Speaker:we ended up finding costumes
Speaker:candies and that's
Speaker:everyone would always talk about how on Amazon
Speaker:during Q4 there's a lot of big sellers
Speaker:or a lot of sellers out there who like
Speaker:hide throughout the rest of the year
Speaker:and they just come out for Q4
Speaker:because Q4 is the most profitable time of the year
Speaker:everyone's buying and
Speaker:you know
Speaker:if everyone's buying and there's sales going on
Speaker:why not be the middle man and take advantage of the
Speaker:some profit that's in there right
Speaker:hmm so I knew that starting a October
Speaker:September that on October
Speaker:I'm gonna go ahead and look for this kind of demand
Speaker:on price like a Halloween items
Speaker:November
Speaker:I was like okay
Speaker:we got Thanksgiving right
Speaker:yep so a lot of baking needs a lot of right
Speaker:kitchen cooking stuff okay
Speaker:so I remember I was selling stuffing
Speaker:I was selling a a canned sweet potatoes
Speaker:yeah from like
Speaker:the Dollar Tree I was getting from like
Speaker:a dollar and selling them like
Speaker:in the 12 pack for like $20
Speaker:yeah and just a lot of
Speaker:a lot of stuff like that right
Speaker:like it was
Speaker:it was a pretty slow month
Speaker:I guess for me
Speaker:compared to like I said
Speaker:I hit 31K October and then November
Speaker:I think it ended at like 26 27
Speaker:something like that and um
Speaker:December has been I think
Speaker:like I said the best month
Speaker:but that's cause I know what to look for right
Speaker:it's a hot it's Christmas
Speaker:yeah Christmas
Speaker:so toys are going crazy right now
Speaker:candies like
Speaker:you know how like
Speaker:every store target
Speaker:comes out with like
Speaker:these peppermint candies or Hershey's like
Speaker:Christmas variation candies
Speaker:yeah so I'm like
Speaker:I'm selling a lot of those candies
Speaker:uh toys
Speaker:uh boys
Speaker:both boy toys
Speaker:girl toys are doing a lot
Speaker:yeah and if I could
Speaker:the thing is like I mentioned earlier
Speaker:there's something called gating right
Speaker:mm hmm
Speaker:so when you're gated for a specific product or category
Speaker:you can't sell it you gotta get approved for it
Speaker:from who
Speaker:from from Amazon
Speaker:just has to show do you gotta show Amazon
Speaker:that you have proof that the brand
Speaker:let's say the brand um
Speaker:to to
Speaker:to to
Speaker:I don't know what's a clothing brand
Speaker:like a random we'll just say Goodfellow from target
Speaker:right Goodfellow
Speaker:I love Goodfellow yeah
Speaker:nice shirts yeah
Speaker:let's say Goodfellow from target
Speaker:I wanna sell their
Speaker:that they came out with like Christmas themed PJs
Speaker:alright let's say I wanna sell that
Speaker:but on Amazon it's on Amazon
Speaker:but it says gated you're restricted
Speaker:I got a request approval
Speaker:and normally you submit an invoice
Speaker:which is like a receipt OK
Speaker:and it shows that you've bought it
Speaker:that you bought this external
Speaker:cause it's gonna ask um
Speaker:we need proof that you bought at least like
Speaker:10 or 20 units from this brand
Speaker:and then you send that you gotta buy 10
Speaker:20 units from that brand and then send it over
Speaker:what tends to happen is it's like a fifty fifty
Speaker:sometimes you won't get accepted
Speaker:and sometimes there's brands who like
Speaker:you actually need like authority from them
Speaker:like you gotta go out and get it and uh
Speaker:email the brand be like hey
Speaker:I wanna buy I wanna sell this product through
Speaker:you have to tag your small store
Speaker:like me who just started for six months
Speaker:they're gonna ignore you
Speaker:they're not gonna care about you
Speaker:yeah like we have bigger wholesalers doing our right
Speaker:giving us more numbers
Speaker:so there's a lot of missed opportunities out there
Speaker:but I mean
Speaker:my goal is to eventually be able to sell those brands
Speaker:so that's it just ties it all back to
Speaker:I wanna just keep scaling
Speaker:and growing this whole business
Speaker:to the point where like
Speaker:I'm at a wholesale level um
Speaker:spending thousands on like
Speaker:one product and I just have a lot more reputation
Speaker:and more sale history with Amazon
Speaker:and these other wholesalers
Speaker:and these companies where I'm just
Speaker:you know it's automated
Speaker:and I'm making a lot more money
Speaker:yeah so yeah
Speaker:I like I like it said
Speaker:there's just a lot of brands out there that's like
Speaker:50 50 you can sell
Speaker:if not sell if you can't sell
Speaker:um
Speaker:you're missing out on sales
Speaker:you're missing out on profit
Speaker:but it's not the end of the world
Speaker:just just go ahead and find out the products right
Speaker:that's what I tell all my students
Speaker:to what I'm actually mentoring
Speaker:there's they
Speaker:they're like find products
Speaker:and like Yo
Speaker:I just found the banger product
Speaker:and they can't sell it they try apply for it hmm
Speaker:and then some of them are like bro
Speaker:this is I actually have one of my students
Speaker:he was like he was this close to giving up right
Speaker:he's like uh
Speaker:he's only been doing it for a week
Speaker:and he's like Yo bro
Speaker:I can't find a single product
Speaker:I was like bro
Speaker:trust me I've been in your situation
Speaker:cause I guess
Speaker:some people expect
Speaker:that you're gonna go ahead and hand them everything
Speaker:right but yeah
Speaker:we both know nothing in life is free nothing
Speaker:no one's gonna hand you anything
Speaker:or if they do okay
Speaker:like yeah
Speaker:I guess in a way you're cheating
Speaker:yourself
Speaker:cause you're not learning the skill to actually find it
Speaker:yeah you know
Speaker:so when I told my mentee I was like
Speaker:yeah dude
Speaker:so like let's get on a call
Speaker:let's see how you're sourcing
Speaker:and let me evaluate how you're doing it
Speaker:and obviously he was doing some mistakes
Speaker:I corrected him and a week now he's getting sales in
Speaker:you know he's actually getting like 2
Speaker:3 products up he's doing
Speaker:he's doing good
Speaker:and probably one of my best students right now
Speaker:that's crazy yeah bro
Speaker:I mean it's just motivation and discipline
Speaker:motivation and discipline
Speaker:I have a quick question going back to uh
Speaker:sourcing products cause I would always think
Speaker:I would always think this
Speaker:you know thinking about it from a business perspective
Speaker:mm hmm when you see something
Speaker:for example on the shelves right
Speaker:yeah let's just say you see a T-shirt
Speaker:20 bucks okay
Speaker:uh in my mind I'm like okay
Speaker:they probably bought this for like eight dollars from
Speaker:from like the wholesaler
Speaker:and they're putting in the tax
Speaker:and like they're actually maybe making like
Speaker:I don't know three
Speaker:four dollars on the shirt
Speaker:and then you go online and you see like
Speaker:like a seller you know
Speaker:like an independent seller
Speaker:not from the actual brand
Speaker:like for example on Amazon
Speaker:but then you see it a little bit cheaper OK
Speaker:and it's like
Speaker:do sellers have access
Speaker:I know you probably touched on it
Speaker:maybe I missed it do
Speaker:do sellers have the opportunity to become
Speaker:to have to get wholesale pricing from brands
Speaker:or is this more like a partnership deal
Speaker:um so let me
Speaker:let me demand like this right
Speaker:so what I focus on right now
Speaker:is something called arbitrage
Speaker:okay so retail arbitrage
Speaker:online arbitrage basically
Speaker:retail arbitrage I'll go to
Speaker:like a discount store
Speaker:say Ross or Marshalls
Speaker:you know what Marshalls is
Speaker:I'll buy a candy that's there that I can sell yeah
Speaker:I'll buy like
Speaker:these chocolates for $5 and sell them
Speaker:I'm yeah
Speaker:you know I'll be able to sell
Speaker:sell them online on Amazon
Speaker:that's arbitrage yeah
Speaker:same thing online instead of going in person
Speaker:I'm just doing it online yeah
Speaker:ordering on orders online
Speaker:products online they come to my house
Speaker:easier for me right hmm
Speaker:and then there's the next step is wholesale
Speaker:so wholesale you would actually
Speaker:there's two ways to go about it that I know of okay
Speaker:I think one is you actually go ahead and
Speaker:let's say reach out to Hershey's
Speaker:the chocolate yeah
Speaker:you reach out to them but
Speaker:your chances of getting accepted by a big time brand
Speaker:like Hershey's are very slim
Speaker:very slim very slim
Speaker:very basically nothing
Speaker:exactly right
Speaker:or you can go the other route
Speaker:where you go you reach out to these wholesalers
Speaker:who have access to Hershey right
Speaker:because they're big wholesalers right
Speaker:and they give you their catalog
Speaker:their items you can go ahead and buy through them
Speaker:mm hmm but there's something called MOQ right
Speaker:so you're it's not like you can just buy like 10 20
Speaker:you gotta order at least like
Speaker:a bulk yeah
Speaker:big a big
Speaker:I mean it's wholesale right
Speaker:a big amount which cost more capital
Speaker:obviously you're gonna spend maybe like
Speaker:two to three grand on just one product
Speaker:okay so I think that's the wholesale part
Speaker:then after wholesale comes brand direct
Speaker:which is in a sense
Speaker:just working like you mentioned
Speaker:one on one with the actual brand
Speaker:okay that's also pretty hard to get into
Speaker:yeah but
Speaker:I mean there's thousands and thousands
Speaker:and hundreds of thousands of brands
Speaker:you could go ahead and you know
Speaker:maybe apply with like
Speaker:a smaller brand that's getting some sales in
Speaker:and be like hey
Speaker:I would like to sell your product
Speaker:can we work a brand direct deal out
Speaker:it's gonna be you're gonna get a lot of no's probably
Speaker:but at the end of the day
Speaker:there's always someone that's gonna say yes
Speaker:mm hmm and then through that
Speaker:you go you take that opportunity
Speaker:you grow from that and then eventually
Speaker:you'll have different people saying yes to you right
Speaker:you'll have like
Speaker:a portfolio built up I've worked with this brand
Speaker:worked with this brand I wanna work with you
Speaker:that's brand direct and then there's like the
Speaker:the big boy the big shark of the mall
Speaker:it's private label oh okay
Speaker:I don't know if you have ever heard of private label
Speaker:I've heard I don't know what it is though
Speaker:yeah so
Speaker:private label is basically
Speaker:when you create your own company okay
Speaker:you trademark your own company
Speaker:you get your products from overseas
Speaker:let's say Alibaba
Speaker:China from those
Speaker:from manufacturers right
Speaker:and um
Speaker:let's say I'm selling a pair of goggles right
Speaker:I want I want to make my own brand
Speaker:obviously requires a lot a lot more capital too
Speaker:and it takes like
Speaker:three to four months of back end work
Speaker:before you can actually go ahead and post it on Amazon
Speaker:and get sales and that's why I started off at arbitrage
Speaker:because I can I mean
Speaker:like I said my mentees
Speaker:my students you can start selling the week after right
Speaker:like in a couple days you learn the skills
Speaker:seriously you can start selling like this
Speaker:obviously you can't do that with like
Speaker:the big the big boy
Speaker:like the yeah
Speaker:top of course
Speaker:private label like I said
Speaker:it takes up like three to four months of back in work
Speaker:but basically
Speaker:obviously your profit margins are a lot higher
Speaker:mm hmm you
Speaker:at the end of the day you own your own brand
Speaker:you have your own store like
Speaker:you actually have a physical uh
Speaker:store on the website on Amazon that says like
Speaker:I don't know
Speaker:let's say see less is goggles or something like that
Speaker:right no one else
Speaker:can see that sell that product
Speaker:only I can yeah
Speaker:and the thing is
Speaker:there's so much more back in work to it right
Speaker:you gotta run your ads yeah
Speaker:you gotta do all that uh promoting
Speaker:sponsoring cause if you're not the middleman anymore
Speaker:exactly uh huh
Speaker:cause if you just launch a product out of nowhere
Speaker:no one knows who you are
Speaker:then you're just gonna lose money
Speaker:so I mean
Speaker:that's also something I you know
Speaker:I could see myself getting into
Speaker:like three years from now
Speaker:but I definitely want to go like this right
Speaker:I want right
Speaker:like I said January 2026
Speaker:I'm gonna take that year to learn wholesale
Speaker:hopefully get into wholesaling
Speaker:and then from there brand direct
Speaker:maybe towards the end I know during Q4
Speaker:it's always best to do arbitrage
Speaker:cause it's easy every store is going on discount
Speaker:so like Target Walmart I'll
Speaker:yeah they're on discount
Speaker:I'll go ahead and buy some products and sell them quick
Speaker:and then um
Speaker:I see myself like I said
Speaker:three years maybe doing private label
Speaker:having my own brand having my own trademark
Speaker:Dang let's talk about private label
Speaker:that sounds interesting I've always wanted to um
Speaker:one thing that I did want to do
Speaker:and that I did do in high school
Speaker:is attempt to launch a gym wear brand
Speaker:a gym what a gym wear brand
Speaker:like gym clothes oh yeah
Speaker:yeah um
Speaker:completely failed cause again
Speaker:if no one knows who you are
Speaker:no one knows your brand then it's whatever
Speaker:but I mean I
Speaker:the way that I remember I was doing a print on demand
Speaker:print on demand
Speaker:print on demand from like some random ass website um
Speaker:and it was fun for a little bit
Speaker:but then I never went through with it
Speaker:how's that how's that work
Speaker:print on is that like the like
Speaker:so you basically so you
Speaker:you have the um
Speaker:you essentially have the design
Speaker:you send them over the design
Speaker:and then they'll tell you like okay
Speaker:you need to order like X amount of things with us right
Speaker:like
Speaker:and they don't really do bulk orders
Speaker:because it's print on demand
Speaker:so you have to once you get an order in
Speaker:you buy with them and then they
Speaker:they'll send it directly to the person
Speaker:oh so you don't have to receive
Speaker:so you don't have to receive anything
Speaker:they just send it directly to them
Speaker:which is which is a really good in concept
Speaker:I just never went through with it
Speaker:just a thought but um
Speaker:it's interesting if private label is the end goal
Speaker:what are you doing now to work towards that
Speaker:I know you say you want to go to wholesale first
Speaker:then um brand direct deals
Speaker:but building out a private label
Speaker:means that you have to have a personal brand
Speaker:exactly exactly
Speaker:so how's that working right
Speaker:cause like I said
Speaker:if you don't have anyone can launch a product right
Speaker:yeah I can get into private label right now
Speaker:but who's gonna buy my product exactly
Speaker:so I think that ties back
Speaker:like I said obviously
Speaker:I'm going step by step
Speaker:because I want to master every single
Speaker:I want to master arbitrage
Speaker:which I think I've already had
Speaker:have a certain point
Speaker:and then I want to master wholesale
Speaker:get into some brand direct
Speaker:see how it works
Speaker:how it is to actually work one on one with the company
Speaker:yeah and then obviously learn from that
Speaker:and then have my own private label
Speaker:but by then by three years bro
Speaker:my end goal is to
Speaker:obviously have a presence on social media
Speaker:uh huh so right now
Speaker:like I think you've seen my Instagram
Speaker:mm hmm um
Speaker:I tend to get a couple view
Speaker:like I'll
Speaker:I'll have not I wouldn't say I average
Speaker:but at least one video
Speaker:like a month will get like over 100
Speaker:200 k views
Speaker:simply because it's like relatable gym content right
Speaker:yeah but then
Speaker:that doesn't convert into what it is
Speaker:that I'm actually trying to build
Speaker:yeah like
Speaker:I'm trying to build right this um
Speaker:this this uh
Speaker:brand
Speaker:personal brand around me that I'm a online ecom seller
Speaker:right and that I'm a 20 year
Speaker:20 years old 21 years old
Speaker:22 years old hopefully by now
Speaker:I'll have a six uh
Speaker:seven figure seller mm hmm
Speaker:and just show people my angle
Speaker:is just to show kids who
Speaker:just like me that it's possible right
Speaker:yeah that it's you
Speaker:just like I mentioned you put your head into it
Speaker:you learn everything there is to it
Speaker:literally go ghost for like 3
Speaker:4 months as corny as it sounds
Speaker:and then just learn everything there is
Speaker:the back ends to any whatever it is
Speaker:whether it's Amazon
Speaker:whether it's some sort of other online business
Speaker:or actual business
Speaker:just learn everything there is to it and make it happen
Speaker:yeah right
Speaker:actions speak louder than words
Speaker:and I just wanna be like
Speaker:an inspiration to people that it's possible
Speaker:because I I don't come from
Speaker:I don't come from like
Speaker:no rich family or anything right
Speaker:I'm a what do you call
Speaker:first generation American
Speaker:Mm hmm so I just wanna be like
Speaker:like that inspiration that if I can do it
Speaker:you can too
Speaker:right yeah
Speaker:so what I'm doing towards
Speaker:like right now towards
Speaker:to reach that goal of having a good PB personal brand
Speaker:is I'm trying to post every single day
Speaker:don't get me wrong social media
Speaker:I guess it's like sometimes
Speaker:like you have the motivation out of nowhere
Speaker:like you just don't know what to post
Speaker:yeah and I'm like
Speaker:I don't know what to post
Speaker:but I gotta get something out there every single day
Speaker:right and um
Speaker:my goal is to 2026 is just to
Speaker:hopefully have 10 k followers on my Instagram
Speaker:which I know it's just a number
Speaker:but still just helps somewhat
Speaker:yeah it's a metric exactly
Speaker:so I have 10 k by like
Speaker:before I turn 21 which my birthday is in February 6
Speaker:so I have what
Speaker:like a month a month
Speaker:so yeah
Speaker:so I don't know
Speaker:I'm at 1.4 right now hopefully 1.5 by the end of like
Speaker:two weeks next week
Speaker:we'll see but like I said
Speaker:I mean the way I see it
Speaker:the whole like
Speaker:Instagram social media
Speaker:personal brand thing is also
Speaker:in a sense kind of like business
Speaker:you know if you actually want it bad enough
Speaker:and put in learn
Speaker:like the back into
Speaker:I guess like
Speaker:the algorithm or whatever
Speaker:learn what's actually what people actually wanna see
Speaker:or what people actually enjoy watching
Speaker:and you're gonna grow right
Speaker:you're gonna get it in just like I'm getting sales
Speaker:I Learned how to get sales
Speaker:I'm gonna learn how to get followers
Speaker:yeah so definitely have a personal brand
Speaker:once I have a big enough personal brand
Speaker:I could launch a clothing brand if I want to
Speaker:and yeah
Speaker:have all these followers that
Speaker:let's say I have like a 200 k followers
Speaker:at least like
Speaker:five to 10K of them
Speaker:are gonna go ahead and buy my clothing brand right
Speaker:I mean yeah
Speaker:I mean 5,000 people spending 20 bucks is a lot
Speaker:a lot it's a lot of money
Speaker:it's a lot of money exactly
Speaker:so yeah
Speaker:I think that makes sense I think um
Speaker:when it when it comes to personal branding
Speaker:it's really just
Speaker:kind of what it is that you want your audience to do
Speaker:right so
Speaker:if you want your audience to buy a product
Speaker:that you're selling
Speaker:you have to build the storyline behind it
Speaker:why is it that you're doing it
Speaker:or else it just becomes again
Speaker:a random ass product
Speaker:that who is really gonna give a fuck about right
Speaker:but um
Speaker:you mentioned coaching what is
Speaker:what is this about
Speaker:what is that you're coaching the Amazon dude
Speaker:yeah arbitrage
Speaker:so what did I do why
Speaker:why did you decide to do that
Speaker:I think I simply decided to do
Speaker:because it just ties back to like
Speaker:what I wanna do at the end
Speaker:at the end of the day right
Speaker:like yeah
Speaker:have that personal brand
Speaker:just show people how it's possible to do
Speaker:mm hmm that if I can do it
Speaker:you can do it too so I was like
Speaker:why not start now OK
Speaker:I have some people who wanna learn yeah
Speaker:so take them under my wing
Speaker:and it just ties back
Speaker:to the whole conversation we had earlier
Speaker:they could go ahead and learn right
Speaker:on their own free route
Speaker:but they're gonna run into the errors
Speaker:to stuff they're gonna run
Speaker:let's say they buy a product
Speaker:that they weren't supposed to buy right
Speaker:maybe they got on a listing that
Speaker:let's say it's an IP complaint listing
Speaker:meaning only one seller actually has authority
Speaker:they're gonna go ahead and kick you out
Speaker:and then boom your account's deactivated
Speaker:all the money you have Amazon supposed to pay you out
Speaker:it's gone it's over really
Speaker:oh you can just take it
Speaker:Amazon does that bro
Speaker:that's crazy like three sellers who
Speaker:especially one one of my boys who lives in Chicago
Speaker:he's a seven figure seller
Speaker:Amazon took his account like this
Speaker:because he accidentally bought a wholesale unit
Speaker:that he wasn't supposed to sell
Speaker:and now he's been fighting two months now
Speaker:with Amazon's strategy Jesus
Speaker:I think he has a lawyer's involved in everything
Speaker:that's crazy it's insane bro
Speaker:I'm about to cash out literally
Speaker:that's crazy literally
Speaker:but like I said why I took students I
Speaker:why I decided to go the coaching route
Speaker:like I said it just ties back to what I wanna do right
Speaker:how I inspire other people and help them do it
Speaker:so that's what I'm doing
Speaker:and it's been going pretty well
Speaker:I have two of my students
Speaker:uh Eugenio and Nick
Speaker:The first month of selling right
Speaker:uh they started late September uh
Speaker:late October yeah
Speaker:November was their first month actually understood
Speaker:Nick ended at 11 k uh OK
Speaker:his first month which is insane
Speaker:that's crazy and then Eugenio ended at 12 k damn
Speaker:yeah and obviously I'm like proud of them bro
Speaker:cause I remember if I could hit a 10 k a month
Speaker:when I first started that would have been crazy
Speaker:I would have been flipping
Speaker:yeah and now
Speaker:I mean the reason why they did it was
Speaker:like I said they no better thing
Speaker:I feel like this is my perspective on things
Speaker:you wanna learn something
Speaker:learn from someone who's done it already right
Speaker:you could
Speaker:why avoid all that hassle and all that time wasted like
Speaker:you know making errors
Speaker:making mistakes
Speaker:you can just invest a little bit of your like
Speaker:invest yourself into a a program or a personal
Speaker:I guess coach or someone who
Speaker:you know and they'll go ahead and in a sense
Speaker:help you achieve your dreams
Speaker:but I don't sell you know
Speaker:I don't sell like yeah
Speaker:I'm gonna make you 10 k I'm gonna make you 10 k
Speaker:what I what I tell everyone who's interested or who
Speaker:like hits me up like hey
Speaker:can you can I work with you
Speaker:or can you teach me is like yeah
Speaker:I mean I can definitely teach you the skills there is
Speaker:and I can give you a blueprint to like
Speaker:make 10 20
Speaker:30 k a month however
Speaker:it just comes down to you like
Speaker:if you're actually willing to
Speaker:you know get that blueprint
Speaker:learn all there is to it
Speaker:and actually show up every single day
Speaker:right cause not everyone is actually meant for
Speaker:I guess in a sense
Speaker:running a business right
Speaker:yeah some people are
Speaker:I feel like to see like
Speaker:I see this way some people are meant to actually
Speaker:you know work the normal yeah
Speaker:nothing wrong with it nothing wrong with it
Speaker:we need those we need workers right
Speaker:and then there's some people who actually have that um
Speaker:I guess what
Speaker:what would you call it like
Speaker:that ability yeah
Speaker:it's just like the little fire right
Speaker:exactly a little hunger in them
Speaker:to actually run a business and make it successful
Speaker:so I always tell any of my students right
Speaker:like it just comes down to you
Speaker:like I'm here
Speaker:you have access to me you have access to my other coach
Speaker:Anthony like
Speaker:you have access to both of us
Speaker:but at the end of the day
Speaker:it just comes down to you
Speaker:we can only do so much you know
Speaker:we're not here to hold your hand
Speaker:and feed you everything there is to it
Speaker:our goal is for you to learn everything there is to it
Speaker:and by by
Speaker:you know getting our help
Speaker:but eventually we want you to master it yourself too
Speaker:right mm hmm
Speaker:it gets to a point where like
Speaker:they don't need us anymore right
Speaker:cause you don't you're not always gonna need a mentor
Speaker:yeah a mentor is only there for
Speaker:with you for like
Speaker:until until you exactly
Speaker:you gotta always outgrow your mentor and yeah
Speaker:I mean that's why I did it bro
Speaker:just to help other people who are in my position
Speaker:who I see you know
Speaker:they were in my they were once in my similar position
Speaker:they want to start something
Speaker:they have their hunger in them
Speaker:so if I can teach them if they're
Speaker:you know if I feel like I can actually go ahead and
Speaker:in a sense change your life
Speaker:then I'll go ahead and do it
Speaker:that's I'm doing bro
Speaker:that's so crazy and I guess what's one of like
Speaker:the biggest struggles
Speaker:when it comes to teaching other people'cause
Speaker:I mean like you said
Speaker:you can only do so much for them right
Speaker:um you can only give them so much help
Speaker:so much blueprints
Speaker:you can only tell them essentially what to do
Speaker:step by step right
Speaker:it's up to them whether they want to or not
Speaker:have you had any problems with maybe someone saying
Speaker:like hey
Speaker:this doesn't work like
Speaker:you're not doing the right thing
Speaker:or like
Speaker:you're not teaching me the right thing
Speaker:to be honest bro
Speaker:I'm not gonna lie my mentees have been so far
Speaker:so good so far really
Speaker:yeah like I mentioned
Speaker:I think I had one
Speaker:but he ended up just actually putting in the work okay
Speaker:I had one who like
Speaker:was like yeah bro
Speaker:like I don't know
Speaker:um I'm not
Speaker:I'm not finding any products right
Speaker:mm hmm but like I said
Speaker:we went ahead and fixed that
Speaker:we saw how what he's doing wrong and corrected him
Speaker:and now he's like OK
Speaker:thank you right
Speaker:but up to now up to date
Speaker:I've been doing the program for like
Speaker:two months now OK
Speaker:like I said a late October
Speaker:I think I started and all my mentees have been good bro
Speaker:so far so good I definitely do see myself running into
Speaker:like someone who will go like
Speaker:yeah bro
Speaker:like I'm not getting no sales like yeah
Speaker:you scammed me where's my like
Speaker:I want my money back bro
Speaker:like you
Speaker:you know what you got yourself into
Speaker:like that's what we
Speaker:it's not like I just close anyone right yeah
Speaker:I'll get on a call with them and just see if they're
Speaker:if they're a good qualified lady to even go ahead and
Speaker:you know put my time into them
Speaker:into having them start something of their own
Speaker:because at the same time I'm running my own business
Speaker:yeah so
Speaker:I'm taking time out of my personal day
Speaker:and my business time to go ahead and teach these guys
Speaker:yeah so I
Speaker:I don't know I'll definitely
Speaker:probably run into a some sort of menti down the line
Speaker:who just feels like they got scammed or something
Speaker:yeah of course
Speaker:I think that um
Speaker:one of one of the main um
Speaker:concepts that I always like to dig in is
Speaker:entrepreneurship is essentially
Speaker:a whole self development journey
Speaker:from beginning to start right
Speaker:like
Speaker:the person that you were when you started doing what it
Speaker:what it is you're doing
Speaker:is not the same person
Speaker:that's sitting right in front of me right
Speaker:you've had your doubts you've had your mistakes
Speaker:you've had your struggles
Speaker:you've had everything
Speaker:probably even the verge of quitting right
Speaker:hundred percent bro
Speaker:yeah
Speaker:and one of the main points of why I started this was to
Speaker:like show that
Speaker:you know show that it's not easy
Speaker:it's not like what you see on Instagram
Speaker:what you see on YouTube it's a highlight reel
Speaker:essentially right
Speaker:no one really sees the struggle
Speaker:so what were those struggles in the beginning
Speaker:whether it was mentally physically
Speaker:logistically even capital wise
Speaker:that you encountered yeah
Speaker:so when I started I started um
Speaker:I like to say June right
Speaker:I I think I full on committed
Speaker:like may
Speaker:end of may I started selling in June okay
Speaker:and yeah
Speaker:in a sense I was a little limited to capital
Speaker:I only had like
Speaker:personal credit so my limit with that was like
Speaker:around maybe 10K which is still a lot to begin
Speaker:that is a lot that's a lot
Speaker:that's more than what I started with
Speaker:damn I know others who start with two to three k homes
Speaker:yeah and that's like
Speaker:actual capital but the thing is
Speaker:what I've been doing is
Speaker:I've been leveraging credits since the beginning okay
Speaker:so like
Speaker:I was like I have the government's money
Speaker:if I can like
Speaker:I'm responsible enough yeah
Speaker:then I can go ahead and use the government's money
Speaker:if you're responsible you can use it
Speaker:works out yeah
Speaker:and that's what I did right
Speaker:obviously I was
Speaker:I didn't go all in 10K in the beginning
Speaker:hmm cause uh
Speaker:if I did I would have been a major
Speaker:major setback cause
Speaker:I didn't know enough
Speaker:about the actual arbitrage business
Speaker:to go ahead and invest $10,000 like that
Speaker:but I think I would have ended up losing
Speaker:but fun fact I actually went um
Speaker:my first got a couple of two weeks selling
Speaker:so like my first
Speaker:like in the week of May June
Speaker:I like maybe like June 10th 11th
Speaker:the sales I was doing I thought I was making money
Speaker:yeah I was
Speaker:I was making like a thousand dollars a week
Speaker:maybe on sales or something like that
Speaker:I was having like 500 dollar
Speaker:I had like 500 dollar day
Speaker:my second day of selling I was like
Speaker:oh my god oh my god
Speaker:I'm up like
Speaker:I had the boost of dopamine
Speaker:but I was doing error that at the whole time
Speaker:even though my numbers were going up
Speaker:I was going negative bro
Speaker:I was losing money on every single product
Speaker:because I was buying the shit
Speaker:there's shipping cost you gotta pay for it okay
Speaker:and I didn't understand it
Speaker:so my my dumbass was like
Speaker:okay so I want to be a good seller
Speaker:I want people to feel comfortable with their actual
Speaker:I want them to like
Speaker:feel comfortable with who they're buying from and like
Speaker:be happy with it satisfied
Speaker:I'm gonna go ahead
Speaker:and give them the fastest shipping option there is
Speaker:right that's crazy
Speaker:so instead of paying for like $8
Speaker:and I cause the item back then I was selling
Speaker:shipping would average me like $8 per
Speaker:yeah label
Speaker:I was paying like and my margins are based off the
Speaker:you like you already calculate when
Speaker:before buying a product you calculate the shipping uh
Speaker:margins into it and all the other stuff everything
Speaker:right so basically
Speaker:you already have an estimate
Speaker:of how much you're gonna make
Speaker:yeah that's like 30 minutes
Speaker:okay so that's what I did
Speaker:I had um
Speaker:I was like
Speaker:my margins were based on the eight dollar things
Speaker:but I don't know I think I just
Speaker:too much doping
Speaker:that I wasn't thinking straight for like
Speaker:the first week and a half
Speaker:two weeks of selling yeah
Speaker:that I was buying the like 12 dollar labels
Speaker:15 dollar labels of shipping instead of eight dollars
Speaker:so that's all your profit
Speaker:yeah so I was profiting like nothing
Speaker:nothing negative 20 cents
Speaker:negative 30 cents it's crazy
Speaker:and I didn't realize that until my first pay off
Speaker:like when my mom
Speaker:my mom was like my mom's very uh
Speaker:Ivonne's very big on numbers and everything
Speaker:she's also in a sense she
Speaker:I guess a businesswoman
Speaker:she's always had her own
Speaker:little catering business on the side
Speaker:ever since I grew up right
Speaker:she's very tight on like
Speaker:keeping your numbers straight
Speaker:doing your numbers and she always like Mark
Speaker:we gotta do your numbers we gotta do your numbers
Speaker:how much you're spending on products
Speaker:how much you're doing that
Speaker:I was like no no
Speaker:I got it I got it
Speaker:I know what I'm doing
Speaker:I regret not listening to your mom
Speaker:so everyone is watching this
Speaker:always listen to your mom
Speaker:to your parents because at the end of the day
Speaker:they know better they know better
Speaker:they've been through it but yeah
Speaker:I was doing negative and I got my first paycheck
Speaker:I was like wait
Speaker:how am I like
Speaker:I only I only got back what I invested into the product
Speaker:I didn't make I made zero profit bro
Speaker:I was like no way
Speaker:but I Learned right
Speaker:I got on call with my mentor
Speaker:I was like uh
Speaker:what am I doing wrong he's like bro
Speaker:let's see your same thing like I do with mine
Speaker:he was like let's go through it
Speaker:he helped me we looked at my logs
Speaker:my shipping logs
Speaker:I was losing money on every single shipping
Speaker:cause I was buying the expensive shipping
Speaker:yeah because in my mind
Speaker:I was like if it gets quicker to them
Speaker:if I buy them the expedited shipping yeah
Speaker:they're gonna be happier and they're gonna make sense
Speaker:right probably
Speaker:but yeah
Speaker:I cooked myself and I Learned off that
Speaker:so I think it just ties to entrepreneurship
Speaker:not every day is gonna be an amazing day
Speaker:especially in the beginning
Speaker:there's days where you're just gonna feel like
Speaker:you're doing it wrong or if it's even possible
Speaker:don't get me wrong I don't know if you feel this way
Speaker:but sometimes I wake up bro
Speaker:like once in a while
Speaker:I'm like is this like
Speaker:really like yeah
Speaker:what if it's just one like
Speaker:is it even worth like
Speaker:do I see myself doing this
Speaker:yeah long term
Speaker:I know I talk to Bristol about all the time
Speaker:he's like yeah man
Speaker:you're just gonna feel those
Speaker:like you just
Speaker:I'll be feeling those too
Speaker:you just feel it it's just part of it
Speaker:like you just have to
Speaker:I'm like bro
Speaker:like I think about him like
Speaker:should I just go should I just college and just like
Speaker:do a 95 and like
Speaker:I don't know because it's
Speaker:it's the same thing right
Speaker:I mean I mean there's
Speaker:there's always a the bigger the risk
Speaker:the bigger the payout right
Speaker:so it's like if you wanna do the secure thing
Speaker:you're just gonna have a smaller payout
Speaker:exactly so there's definitely fear
Speaker:I feel like maybe that fear is never gonna go away
Speaker:especially if you start scaling bigger
Speaker:it's gonna get worse obviously
Speaker:the more numbers you wanna make
Speaker:the more money you gotta put in
Speaker:oh yeah
Speaker:I want if I wanna make 100 k a month on Amazon
Speaker:I gotta put in at least maybe
Speaker:like 30 k
Speaker:30 k worth of capital yeah
Speaker:and it should be imagine me putting 30 k in
Speaker:I can only imagine the doubt
Speaker:I'm like fuck
Speaker:like I just put this much money
Speaker:is it gonna work is it gonna work
Speaker:is it gonna work yeah gosh
Speaker:should I just like quit
Speaker:should I just take it back out
Speaker:but yeah man
Speaker:I think it's not it's not all rainbows and sunshine
Speaker:there's days where you're gonna feel like you're not
Speaker:if it's even worth it but that's just where it shows
Speaker:if you're meant for it or not
Speaker:right if you go ahead and overcome it
Speaker:because at the end of the day
Speaker:like I said you show up every single day
Speaker:even on the bad days and you're bound for success bro
Speaker:that's how I see it yeah
Speaker:when you show up when you actually do the work
Speaker:and you show up regardless of how you feel
Speaker:yeah yeah yeah
Speaker:cool things happen cool things happen exactly
Speaker:and like yeah
Speaker:so I was like I was saying
Speaker:my first like
Speaker:week and a half I went negative
Speaker:I Learned from that my mom's like
Speaker:what I tell you this that like
Speaker:OK mom
Speaker:OK OK
Speaker:and um
Speaker:I guess in a sense
Speaker:since I was in a group like
Speaker:like a group chat with like
Speaker:all these other sellers that were doing the same thing
Speaker:my first I think June
Speaker:I ended I didn't hit 10 k until
Speaker:until September
Speaker:which I ended up hitting a 25 k instead of 10 k
Speaker:like I mentioned right
Speaker:and so June went by July
Speaker:August so 3 months
Speaker:I didn't see 10 k months
Speaker:and I kid you not I was like
Speaker:what am I doing wrong like
Speaker:is this even meant for me
Speaker:because there was other sellers that were joining
Speaker:I guess like my mentees
Speaker:I guess they just had that hunger in them
Speaker:or they they had something in them differently
Speaker:yeah that they were hitting 10 k the first month or
Speaker:you know by the time like
Speaker:let's say I joined the may
Speaker:and someone joined in like
Speaker:June or July
Speaker:and they had a bigger month on August than I did
Speaker:I was like oh man
Speaker:like I'm getting left behind
Speaker:but in a sense that also pushed me to just do more
Speaker:I was like okay
Speaker:this kid's younger than me
Speaker:he's 19 he's 18
Speaker:and he just hit a 10K month before me
Speaker:yeah there's no way I'm doing something wrong
Speaker:so I go ahead and re evaluate what I'm doing
Speaker:learn off it fix my mistakes
Speaker:and then just better myself every single time I can
Speaker:I think
Speaker:I also catch myself getting comfortable sometimes
Speaker:which is I feel like
Speaker:a big
Speaker:key factor when it comes to running a business'cause
Speaker:at the soon
Speaker:the moment you get comfortable
Speaker:then you're just gonna stop
Speaker:that's it yeah
Speaker:yeah yeah
Speaker:yeah yeah yeah yeah
Speaker:comfortability has killed more dreams than like
Speaker:laziness and lack of capital and lack of knowledge
Speaker:uh huh cause like
Speaker:the moment you get comfortable
Speaker:you just like well
Speaker:I don't there's no reason for me to push anymore right
Speaker:like that drive
Speaker:that pushed you to where you are at right now
Speaker:it's not the same drive
Speaker:that's gonna keep you in the game
Speaker:exactly exactly
Speaker:so you get to recalibrate
Speaker:yeah so that's
Speaker:I think I guess in a sense
Speaker:the Supra right
Speaker:obviously the Supra
Speaker:me working I used to work at Toyota right okay
Speaker:I worked at 4:51 at Toyota
Speaker:I was a technician on cars
Speaker:don't get me wrong I love cars
Speaker:I love cars so working on cars
Speaker:it wasn't like it wasn't a bad job
Speaker:cause I think I was with my boys
Speaker:we mess around work on cars
Speaker:fix cars get to see cool cars every now and then
Speaker:but I was getting paid like ass right
Speaker:yeah so I was just like
Speaker:I don't know man
Speaker:I I've always told myself that
Speaker:I don't feel like I'm meant for
Speaker:just working a dead end job
Speaker:in a sense right
Speaker:I didn't know what that was
Speaker:until I Learned all these other possibilities
Speaker:that there's money out there online
Speaker:money to make you just gotta learn that skill
Speaker:and for anyone watching that like
Speaker:thinks they gotta go
Speaker:ahead and quit their job right away
Speaker:when they start a business
Speaker:I don't I don't recommend that at all right
Speaker:you wanna have some sort of cash flow
Speaker:you wanna be a little safe
Speaker:exactly you wanna be a little safe
Speaker:and that's what I did I told myself
Speaker:I gave myself the goal
Speaker:as soon as I start making more on Amazon
Speaker:than I am on my uh job
Speaker:my regular job
Speaker:that's when I'm gonna go ahead and leave my job
Speaker:so that's what I did in August
Speaker:I left I took that
Speaker:even though I like broke even
Speaker:I think I did like profit
Speaker:I think I profited like two grand
Speaker:2.5 grand on August even though it's not a lot right
Speaker:but that's how much I
Speaker:I told you that I was making two grand a month
Speaker:yeah so I was like alright
Speaker:$500 more okay
Speaker:I'm leaving the job and I did
Speaker:I had my biggest month the next month
Speaker:Jeez how was that
Speaker:was it scary it was uh what
Speaker:leaving my job yeah
Speaker:yeah not really
Speaker:because I mean
Speaker:it's a technician job like I always told myself
Speaker:worst comes to worst I can always go back to mechanic
Speaker:exactly you know
Speaker:I'm 20 years old yeah
Speaker:so like
Speaker:it's not the end of the world for me
Speaker:you know if I
Speaker:if I feel like this business model
Speaker:this whatever
Speaker:just go back just go back
Speaker:exactly go back to school
Speaker:go back to being a technician
Speaker:that's a good thing about being young
Speaker:yeah exactly
Speaker:and um
Speaker:but being young bro
Speaker:we gotta take advantage of that everyone
Speaker:we got to be like
Speaker:our responsibilities
Speaker:we don't have that many responsibilities compared to 40
Speaker:50 years old right
Speaker:yeah I mean family
Speaker:you don't have kids you don't have a wife
Speaker:you don't have a dog maybe you do have a dog
Speaker:but I don't have a dog I never had a dog
Speaker:me neither
Speaker:but you don't gotta pay
Speaker:you don't necessarily gotta pay rent
Speaker:you don't gotta step out the house
Speaker:you know exactly
Speaker:so exactly
Speaker:take advantage of that
Speaker:but uh
Speaker:I guess uh
Speaker:being comfortable it took me when I got the car Supra
Speaker:uh I guess it just put me getting that car
Speaker:like in the sense I'm like
Speaker:okay I got a car
Speaker:mm hmm now my goal is to pay off this car within a year
Speaker:so okay
Speaker:since I put myself in a a little bit more
Speaker:less comfortable situation
Speaker:yeah or like
Speaker:I know I can obviously afford and go ahead
Speaker:and it's gonna pay itself through the business
Speaker:but it just gave me that like
Speaker:pushing like factor
Speaker:uh huh to just make more money
Speaker:I have this car now so like
Speaker:I have to make more money
Speaker:I have to make more money
Speaker:uh huh so that's what I
Speaker:that's what I'm doing man
Speaker:it's every single day that's
Speaker:my goal is just to get one step closer
Speaker:to my seven figure net worth
Speaker:I guess yeah
Speaker:do you have any projections on when that would could be
Speaker:I'm giving myself two years bro
Speaker:two years yeah
Speaker:two years that's crazy
Speaker:you think it's a lot you think it's a long time
Speaker:I think that's a little time
Speaker:don't you think I mean
Speaker:like
Speaker:as you scale things yeah
Speaker:things break right
Speaker:so like we said either Leadership
Speaker:Capital
Speaker:employees teammates
Speaker:things like that so I think my only advice to you
Speaker:if you want to double
Speaker:if you want to
Speaker:if you want to hit $1 million from doing like what
Speaker:if you're doing a 30 k run rate
Speaker:that would be maybe 300 k by the end of the year
Speaker:over the span of 12 months
Speaker:or a little bit under 400 k
Speaker:the amount of money that you're gonna have to spend
Speaker:the amount of energy that you're gonna have to put
Speaker:the amount of manpower and not just that
Speaker:just the capacity to get over problems
Speaker:get over people problems which is even worse
Speaker:and have the capacity to also understand
Speaker:that things are gonna go wrong
Speaker:for a very long time as well
Speaker:it's something that you think you might be ready for
Speaker:I'm telling you from experience
Speaker:you are not you're
Speaker:if you think you're prepared
Speaker:you're probably not prepared
Speaker:cause um
Speaker:and that's not that's not a discouragement at all
Speaker:it's more of like a be ready for that
Speaker:like when it happens
Speaker:you should not feel like um oh
Speaker:I'm not good enough or like
Speaker:I'm not doing this right no
Speaker:you're completely doing it right
Speaker:you're doing something that
Speaker:point zero zero one % of men in their life
Speaker:will ever do right
Speaker:the amount of money that that takes
Speaker:and the kind of person that it takes
Speaker:to build something like that
Speaker:is a crazy person first of all right
Speaker:and someone completely out of the normal
Speaker:but you just have to it's gonna take a lot of money if
Speaker:if you think that if right now
Speaker:you said that in order to make 100 k
Speaker:you need to spend $30,000
Speaker:maybe just on product mm hmm
Speaker:I mean times that by 10
Speaker:you need to make a million dollars
Speaker:you need to spend $300,000 on product
Speaker:plus at that point
Speaker:you're gonna need a team so you need to put in payroll
Speaker:plus you probably gonna need a manager
Speaker:so you need some overhead
Speaker:plus you're gonna probably need like
Speaker:a warehouse I mean
Speaker:where you gonna put this like
Speaker:you can't put this anywhere else
Speaker:so there's steps to it um
Speaker:and sometimes going slow is faster than going fast
Speaker:you know sometimes taking things slow
Speaker:yeah yeah
Speaker:I mean hundred percent
Speaker:two years is amazing it's great
Speaker:but don't ever rush
Speaker:the lessons that you need to learn along the way
Speaker:just for a number or a metric
Speaker:because those lessons they take time
Speaker:they take time they're unteachable lessons
Speaker:sometimes
Speaker:unteachable lessons come in the form of a mistake
Speaker:they come in the form of money loss
Speaker:but those are lessons
Speaker:are gonna carry you from 1 million
Speaker:to 10 million to 100 million
Speaker:so you know
Speaker:sometimes it's good to just
Speaker:you know slow down a little bit
Speaker:slow down a little bit recalibrate
Speaker:and just make sure that you have all your check
Speaker:engine lines off
Speaker:and get off to the race thanks bro
Speaker:I appreciate it for real
Speaker:yeah I mean
Speaker:I'm telling you for experience
Speaker:I got I
Speaker:I burned myself I burned myself
Speaker:but no I definitely heard about
Speaker:I mean I always hear about
Speaker:like all these big guys who like
Speaker:I guess it says
Speaker:made it already or made that big amount of money
Speaker:yeah they always talk about a breakthrough
Speaker:like a moment you're just gonna be down by
Speaker:like it's gonna be like
Speaker:it's gonna feel like the worst time ever
Speaker:yep and I know that's coming for me
Speaker:especially with my goals because I was like
Speaker:I'll be honest I haven't had that yet
Speaker:yeah this whole business has been
Speaker:I wouldn't say it's rainbow
Speaker:sunshine every single time
Speaker:but I haven't had that point where like
Speaker:I'm like OK
Speaker:like I'm negative negative negative
Speaker:like I'm like
Speaker:I'm in too deep like
Speaker:what do I do now I haven't had that yet
Speaker:OK but I definitely do see myself having one of those
Speaker:because if everyone's had it then
Speaker:oh it's
Speaker:it's coming I'll have it to you
Speaker:it's coming I mean
Speaker:it might it might be two
Speaker:three months from now
Speaker:it might be a year or two from now
Speaker:you might actually get to a million dollars
Speaker:before it ever happens yeah
Speaker:so it's just it's
Speaker:it's part of life just like how you have heartbreak
Speaker:just how you have betrayal
Speaker:just how you have everything
Speaker:you have something going on wrong in the business
Speaker:and you just have to be ready emotionally
Speaker:mentally and physically
Speaker:to not let that deter you from the goal
Speaker:yeah I think that's
Speaker:ties back to if you're actually meant for it or not
Speaker:right yeah
Speaker:entrepreneurship definitely definitely
Speaker:I mean I'm
Speaker:do you watch um
Speaker:do you watch Alex Hormosi
Speaker:yeah I see him on my feed every now and then
Speaker:I never really like religiously watched him
Speaker:well that
Speaker:but yeah I mean
Speaker:I mean he's a great example
Speaker:cause he not only failed once and lost everything
Speaker:he failed twice and he lost everything
Speaker:and the third time everything worked out
Speaker:so I mean
Speaker:imagine reaching your goal of a million dollars
Speaker:and everything just
Speaker:completely falls down to the ground
Speaker:and you end up with zero dollars
Speaker:do you have that capacity
Speaker:do you have the lessons Learned
Speaker:do you have the skills
Speaker:to build back up to a million dollars
Speaker:just to maybe lose it again
Speaker:there's always that
Speaker:risk that you're always gonna lose things again
Speaker:yeah so
Speaker:I mean at the end of the day
Speaker:you just what's left is the skills
Speaker:what's left is the knowledge
Speaker:and essentially the balls to keep doing it
Speaker:mm hmm mm hmm
Speaker:just a thought or two no
Speaker:I appreciate it bro haha um
Speaker:I don't know what's ready bro haha
Speaker:let it go oh yeah
Speaker:so what's um
Speaker:tactically what would be like
Speaker:the next couple months looking like for you
Speaker:like a gold was with like
Speaker:my business yeah
Speaker:as in like you know if
Speaker:if 40 k is the is the goal now
Speaker:what's January February
Speaker:March etc
Speaker:looking like
Speaker:I think I definitely wanna hit 100 k a month
Speaker:mm hmm by like the next six months bro
Speaker:cause wholesale I'm
Speaker:I'm gonna get into wholesaling
Speaker:so I know wholesaling it's gonna be
Speaker:it's gonna take me from here to here right
Speaker:so next step is that big of a deal
Speaker:yeah arbitrage
Speaker:cause let me explain it like this yeah
Speaker:so arbitrage is the very beginner friendly right okay
Speaker:that's where you go ahead and learn
Speaker:there's sales to be made I mean
Speaker:I'm making 40 k a month these guys making 50 60
Speaker:70 80 k a month off it right
Speaker:uh huh but thing is
Speaker:you're competing with a lot of other sellers right
Speaker:because it's a very uh
Speaker:beginner level entry level right
Speaker:uh huh so what tends to happen is you
Speaker:have so much competition now
Speaker:if you get to wholesale there's still competition
Speaker:but it just
Speaker:it goes from competition like this to like this
Speaker:yeah cause not everybody gets in there
Speaker:not everybody gets in wholesale
Speaker:not everyone has the capital
Speaker:not everyone not everyone made it to that point
Speaker:to be able to make it to wholesale
Speaker:right
Speaker:so I guess competition wise
Speaker:it would lower me
Speaker:meaning I have less people on my listings
Speaker:mm hmm and plus
Speaker:I'm getting better better margins in them right
Speaker:I'm buying in bulk so I'm getting better margins
Speaker:yep so my
Speaker:I have some sort of more uh
Speaker:wiggle room to play with when it comes to like
Speaker:lowering my prices or having the better price
Speaker:because maybe I'm getting a product today
Speaker:I'm getting a candy
Speaker:let's say this guy that's on the listing
Speaker:he's just doing arbitrage
Speaker:he's getting the candy for
Speaker:like $4 a piece since I'm doing wholesale
Speaker:I'm getting it for like $2 a piece maybe right
Speaker:so I have $2 right there wiggle room
Speaker:I can lower my price a little bit
Speaker:and get more sales than him
Speaker:not losing money rather
Speaker:the arbitrage guy lowers his price
Speaker:he's losing money yeah
Speaker:so wholesale definitely
Speaker:margins would be a lot bigger
Speaker:and just I'll be able to sell more products
Speaker:so get bigger higher numbers
Speaker:so I definitely do see myself hitting 100 k month
Speaker:on Amazon within the next 6 months by
Speaker:by June I'll definitely hit 100 k month
Speaker:I know that for sure and like I said
Speaker:hopefully Q4 next year which will be my second Q4
Speaker:cause this is my first Q4 right now
Speaker:OK so my
Speaker:my second Q4 I'll hit another
Speaker:I don't know 150 k a month
Speaker:so basically yeah what
Speaker:almost triple what I'm making right now
Speaker:I'll definitely do it though
Speaker:cause by then I'll have wholesale
Speaker:I have a systemize I have a bigger team by then
Speaker:that's my goal and yeah bro
Speaker:if I can just hit let's say even
Speaker:let's say I go to safe round
Speaker:just do 30 k a month what
Speaker:that puts me at what like 30 * 3 * 12
Speaker:it's 360 360 okay
Speaker:I'm already at what 120
Speaker:I think mm hmm
Speaker:so 360 that's already half a mill right there
Speaker:mm hmm right on my
Speaker:on my Amazon revenue so yeah
Speaker:that would just that would just put me on path to like
Speaker:within the year next year
Speaker:if I do another 360 well
Speaker:I'm like at 800 almost so I guess in a sense
Speaker:I'll be close to my end goal
Speaker:like I said I wanna hit
Speaker:I wanna be I wanna have seven figures generated by 23
Speaker:I always told myself 23 I don't know why 23
Speaker:but ever since I was I don't know
Speaker:I was 23 it was just 23
Speaker:like by 23
Speaker:I gotta have a million like yeah
Speaker:no for me
Speaker:it was uh
Speaker:25 by 25
Speaker:I have to have a personal net worth of
Speaker:a million or more
Speaker:and then a business generating a million or more
Speaker:um every year
Speaker:yeah hundred yeah
Speaker:and but then like
Speaker:I also see all these guys who are
Speaker:they're doing it bro
Speaker:they're making like 1.2
Speaker:1.32 million a year off the
Speaker:off the business model I do a year
Speaker:right so if
Speaker:if they can do it why can't I do it bro
Speaker:yeah of course yeah
Speaker:if they can do it I can definitely do it
Speaker:like you said there's nothing gonna be rough times
Speaker:so it's just gonna determine if I'm actually
Speaker:capable of doing it of making it happen
Speaker:of overcoming those bad times
Speaker:mm hmm learning from them and just growing from them
Speaker:and making not
Speaker:not repeating the same mistakes
Speaker:yep and just taking advantage of what I've been through
Speaker:and growing from it making it a better thing for myself
Speaker:right yeah
Speaker:I think that makes sense how do you think
Speaker:being in the gym and I guess
Speaker:building up that gym discipline and all those habits
Speaker:how do you think that has
Speaker:translated over into the business world
Speaker:I think it's a big role bro
Speaker:Bristol right
Speaker:we all know Bristol yeah
Speaker:if it wasn't for Bristol I'm not gonna lie
Speaker:I don't think I'd be in this position bro
Speaker:he's like no glaze dude
Speaker:no glaze no
Speaker:no glaze don't get excited
Speaker:yo don't get excited hahaha
Speaker:no glaze oh god
Speaker:but he definitely did uh
Speaker:in a sense change the trajectory of where my
Speaker:I guess where I was headed to
Speaker:yeah every time I get a haircut from this guy
Speaker:it'd be like bro
Speaker:what are you doing with your life
Speaker:dude you're 20 years old
Speaker:what are you doing with your life
Speaker:what are you doing with your life
Speaker:like you're talking to
Speaker:what are you doing with your life
Speaker:that sounds like bro no
Speaker:he'd be like what are you doing with your life bro
Speaker:you're 20 years old like you're
Speaker:you're you have nothing
Speaker:you're working a fucking job
Speaker:you're talking to all these girls like
Speaker:stop talking to girls stop chasing dopamine
Speaker:I would just be like okay bro
Speaker:okay bro
Speaker:and then um
Speaker:I guess just hearing
Speaker:just hearing him say all that shit all the time
Speaker:I get a haircut I was like okay
Speaker:I'll do a clothing brand
Speaker:cause I tried doing a clothing brand before
Speaker:I did e commerce
Speaker:I'll go ahead and do a clothing brand
Speaker:and that's so that's so
Speaker:I pull up to a shop one day
Speaker:I'm like he's like
Speaker:so what are you doing bro
Speaker:like what you've been up to
Speaker:I'm like yeah dude
Speaker:I'm like I'm doing a clothing brand
Speaker:and he's he shits on me
Speaker:he's like a clothing brand bro
Speaker:like what the hell
Speaker:I'm like yeah bro
Speaker:like I
Speaker:I will see and I guess just him like
Speaker:actually in the sense looking out for me
Speaker:like wanting
Speaker:knowing that I'm capable of doing so much more
Speaker:because he always tell me Mark
Speaker:you lift we would lift together right
Speaker:he's like you have this discipline to lifting
Speaker:go ahead and apply that to business right
Speaker:yeah build something for yourself
Speaker:because not everyone has that discipline
Speaker:mmm hmm
Speaker:when it going to the gym every single day with like
Speaker:even when you don't feel like it
Speaker:yeah cause there's days where I don't feel like lifting
Speaker:yeah but I'll still go because it's just part of like
Speaker:it makes me feel a lot better after right
Speaker:oh yeah
Speaker:or I have to do it right
Speaker:yeah it literally lifts up your mood
Speaker:exactly exactly
Speaker:so I was like okay
Speaker:he has a point so I Learned within
Speaker:I've been lifting for like three years now
Speaker:yeah three
Speaker:four years that's insane bro
Speaker:20 20
Speaker:one as a junior it's insane
Speaker:I was looking bad guys
Speaker:yeah so I was a junior when I started lifting
Speaker:and I always enjoyed it right
Speaker:so I guess it takes up cause not everyone
Speaker:like everyone maybe will get into that gym phase
Speaker:but then they'll last maybe a couple months
Speaker:or like a year and then
Speaker:and then yeah
Speaker:like I'm tired of going
Speaker:I know friends same age as me
Speaker:like when I was starting they'd be like Mark
Speaker:how do you go to the gym for like
Speaker:an hour or an hour 30 a day
Speaker:cause back then
Speaker:I would go for like an hour or two hours right
Speaker:it's a long time I don't go like that anymore
Speaker:but they were like bro
Speaker:how do you have the discipline to go every single day
Speaker:bro like
Speaker:I can't do that I'm like
Speaker:I don't know man
Speaker:like I just simply
Speaker:I enjoyed actually going to the gym and like
Speaker:lifting weights and bettering my physique in a sense
Speaker:right yeah
Speaker:and I think that just shows that
Speaker:not everyone's meant for certain things
Speaker:yeah so
Speaker:but you gotta build that discipline
Speaker:I've been doing it for four years now
Speaker:that's insane four years of lifting every single day
Speaker:obviously right now that I every
Speaker:every single day yeah yeah
Speaker:there's been times where I like
Speaker:I did leave it for like
Speaker:maybe a couple weeks or a month
Speaker:mm hmm but I built that discipline
Speaker:definitely helped me in like
Speaker:my Amazon journey because it taught me to just show up
Speaker:even when I don't feel like doing it
Speaker:just show up because at
Speaker:like at gym
Speaker:I don't feel like going but if I go
Speaker:I'll get a nice pump I'll feel amazing
Speaker:I'll go flexing uh
Speaker:I'll check take off my shirt
Speaker:look at my physique like OK
Speaker:I look a little better now
Speaker:yeah like
Speaker:at least I have this pump
Speaker:yeah have that
Speaker:when I before going in
Speaker:and then uh
Speaker:at so with business right
Speaker:I'll go ahead okay
Speaker:I don't feel like sourcing today
Speaker:but I went ahead stayed up the night
Speaker:did my sourcing I found a product
Speaker:now the next day I can have a product to sell right
Speaker:more money made so it's just
Speaker:it just translates over having that discipline to
Speaker:actually that gym discipline that I had
Speaker:definitely helped me on the journey
Speaker:to where I'm at right now
Speaker:yeah yeah
Speaker:it's it's kind of weird how that works
Speaker:you know it's um
Speaker:like you said discipline being
Speaker:doing the thing that you need to do
Speaker:even when you don't want to do it
Speaker:it's it sounds very very
Speaker:very simple
Speaker:but it's something that it's easily overlooked
Speaker:because of how simple it sounds
Speaker:and people don't understand the multiples and multiples
Speaker:and multiples of orders of magnitude that it's like
Speaker:how important it is
Speaker:I think not only discipline
Speaker:but just having the grit to go from
Speaker:0 pounds 5 pounds to going all the way to like 50 60
Speaker:70 pounds that you're lifting
Speaker:that also translates to going from
Speaker:maybe one single product that you're sourcing
Speaker:one single product that you're selling to
Speaker:you know four
Speaker:five six
Speaker:seven and beyond that help you get closer to your goal
Speaker:it's little lessons and little habits like that
Speaker:that really multiply and make up the person that
Speaker:you know is standing here today
Speaker:and that will be there tomorrow
Speaker:hundred percent bro
Speaker:what um
Speaker:what would you say
Speaker:if anybody wanted to get into this econ business
Speaker:and I again
Speaker:you having your mentees what would you say to them
Speaker:as in pros or as in cons what would you say
Speaker:pros obviously
Speaker:I mean you're making money
Speaker:literally through your phone and your laptop dude
Speaker:yeah right
Speaker:and you have the
Speaker:you have the resources and the opportunity to
Speaker:you know control how much you wanna make
Speaker:mm hmm basically right
Speaker:you wanna you wanna make more money
Speaker:you wanna hit a bigger month
Speaker:you wanna hit a bigger day
Speaker:then let's find more products
Speaker:yeah you know
Speaker:put in the work uh
Speaker:put more time into finding products
Speaker:you're gonna get a bigger storefront and more sales
Speaker:I think that's a pro is just simply that liberty right
Speaker:that freedom you can literally work from anywhere
Speaker:take your laptop with you
Speaker:your phone with you and just source whenever you want
Speaker:and you just get sales and I think I've been like
Speaker:I've been getting sales throughout this whole podcast
Speaker:like 18 minutes ago
Speaker:26 minutes ago
Speaker:just keep getting sales while I'm doing nothing
Speaker:yeah right
Speaker:and that's a I mean
Speaker:that's a pro
Speaker:you can definitely build it up to a point where like
Speaker:like I said my own goal right
Speaker:have it fully automated
Speaker:but that just comes down to
Speaker:if you're willing to show up and do it
Speaker:putting the work going through the bad days
Speaker:and show up even when you don't feel like showing up
Speaker:the cons I'd say obviously is
Speaker:I think every entrepreneur ship
Speaker:every entrepreneur feels this way right
Speaker:um you end up working more than a 9 to 5
Speaker:on your own business oh yeah
Speaker:like a 9 to 5 you work at eight hour maybe OK
Speaker:nine hour shift and then uh
Speaker:the actual business while you're growing
Speaker:there's days where I'm working 12 13
Speaker:14 like
Speaker:all day literally right
Speaker:I'll just stay up working hours and hours and hours
Speaker:because you're building something for yourself
Speaker:so one it's very time consuming
Speaker:so if you're
Speaker:if you don't see yourself having enough time
Speaker:then that's a con right
Speaker:for you um
Speaker:I guess another con would more so be
Speaker:I don't really know bro
Speaker:to be honest with you I'm not
Speaker:I'm not really quite sure
Speaker:I mean I don't see why not take that risk
Speaker:and just go all in and bet on yourself right
Speaker:yeah if you fail
Speaker:at least at least you tried
Speaker:yeah you tried and you Learned
Speaker:exactly you try and you learn
Speaker:and not like
Speaker:record side not everyone
Speaker:not everyone
Speaker:goes ahead and actually takes that risk to learn
Speaker:mm hmm so a lot of people just stay comfortable
Speaker:they just watch from the sidelines and just be like
Speaker:okay like
Speaker:he's doing it he's gonna fail whatever right
Speaker:or or he got lucky
Speaker:like once you make it
Speaker:they'll be like oh
Speaker:he got lucky right
Speaker:he's just he's just one of those few people
Speaker:but they don't see the back end
Speaker:they don't see all those time
Speaker:and hours put into the work
Speaker:so like
Speaker:I guess why not take that risk and just make it happen
Speaker:or at least try to make it happen right
Speaker:yeah so I feel like in a sense trying to ecom
Speaker:cause there's nothing to lose
Speaker:to be honest or yeah
Speaker:maybe you'll lose a couple thousand couple two
Speaker:three four
Speaker:five but it's not the end of the world you got right
Speaker:you fail you go back to your normal job right
Speaker:yeah and just go make back that 5K in what
Speaker:like three months or whatever
Speaker:whatever job you're working
Speaker:I don't know what job you're working at
Speaker:but if you're young
Speaker:take advantage of your youth and that a freedom of like
Speaker:responsibilities you have right now
Speaker:because if you wait for a quote unquote
Speaker:I guess the right time to start
Speaker:uh huh it's never gonna come around
Speaker:cause there's no such thing as a right time to start
Speaker:you just gotta one day just wake up and be like okay
Speaker:I'm gonna do it that's it
Speaker:I'm gonna do it because if you wait for that call
Speaker:it's never gonna happen uh huh
Speaker:cause you're in that right now
Speaker:like let's say me the version of me not doing Amazon
Speaker:I'm just waiting like OK
Speaker:one day when the time's right
Speaker:when the time's right but every single day that goes by
Speaker:I'm just in the same position that I was
Speaker:you know not making any money
Speaker:uh huh so
Speaker:like I like
Speaker:I tell everyone there's no better time to start
Speaker:if anything just do it now
Speaker:learn the skills you have to learn
Speaker:show up if you fail
Speaker:OK you fail
Speaker:but you tried right
Speaker:and if you really want to make it happen
Speaker:you're gonna make it happen
Speaker:yeah it's it's
Speaker:it's literally just as simple as that
Speaker:I know that you not to bring back the glaze
Speaker:but I know you you said that
Speaker:you know you had someone in your corner that pushed you
Speaker:yeah and that saw
Speaker:maybe the potential that you didn't see in yourself
Speaker:at that time yeah
Speaker:do you think you would have ended up
Speaker:where you are today
Speaker:if it wasn't for having that person in your corner
Speaker:glaze dude
Speaker:holy crap well
Speaker:I'm gonna glaze him that's not gonna glaze him
Speaker:but I mean it's
Speaker:it's very important because
Speaker:no hundred percent entrepreneurship can be very lonely
Speaker:very lonely it is
Speaker:you are in the grind state
Speaker:you're learning a lot you
Speaker:you literally just don't have
Speaker:you just don't have time for anything else
Speaker:yeah no
Speaker:you're obsessed with this one thing
Speaker:no hundred percent
Speaker:hundred percent especially in the beginning right
Speaker:mm hmm especially in the beginning
Speaker:uh yeah man
Speaker:if it wasn't I mean
Speaker:like I said I always be grateful for the people uh
Speaker:friends I've managed to make
Speaker:throughout the span of this last 2025
Speaker:that's probably been the best year ever
Speaker:and yeah
Speaker:if it wasn't for him no
Speaker:if it wasn't for Bristol bro yeah
Speaker:I don't think I would have uh
Speaker:started cause I was
Speaker:I was in that position like
Speaker:when it's the right time when it's the right time
Speaker:I would tell myself that every single day
Speaker:just to make myself feel better
Speaker:cause the other kids making more money than me
Speaker:younger than me yeah right
Speaker:so it would just bring me that comfort
Speaker:and that validation when the time's right
Speaker:but having him just push me yeah
Speaker:and be like bro
Speaker:just do it just do it
Speaker:you know
Speaker:that changed my life
Speaker:and it just ties back to
Speaker:the people you're surrounded with right
Speaker:you surround yourself my mom's always told me
Speaker:you surround yourself and I didn't
Speaker:I didn't believe her I mean
Speaker:we never believe our moms
Speaker:never believe our gosh man
Speaker:until you know
Speaker:you experience like okay
Speaker:exactly right
Speaker:and they like damn it mom
Speaker:I should have listened to you
Speaker:yeah and I'm sorry mom
Speaker:and uh
Speaker:yeah she'd always tell me like
Speaker:don't get me wrong right
Speaker:I love my friends my
Speaker:my day ones right yeah
Speaker:my friends who I've been with uh
Speaker:since I was like 15 16 17
Speaker:mm hmm but I would always
Speaker:you know we go out
Speaker:we go eat play soccer uh
Speaker:go do whatever watch movies
Speaker:just literally do anything but make money right
Speaker:do anything but make money and
Speaker:but we'd always talk about getting rich someday
Speaker:but none of us knew what we were doing
Speaker:yeah everybody
Speaker:we all talk and my mom would always be like
Speaker:you're wasting your time you're not doing anything
Speaker:go get a job or go do this
Speaker:okay okay okay whatever right
Speaker:and she's like your friends are lazy
Speaker:right and you're just like them
Speaker:and I was like no
Speaker:mom like
Speaker:I'm not like
Speaker:I'm just with my friends like
Speaker:I'm just enjoying time
Speaker:but then
Speaker:ever since I started this entrepreneurship journey
Speaker:I've met I
Speaker:like minded people
Speaker:and I surround myself with people
Speaker:who are doing bigger numbers than me
Speaker:people are doing better than me right
Speaker:people who I want to be in the position within
Speaker:like in the future
Speaker:and I kid you not me being in that situation that in
Speaker:like that circle with people better than me or people
Speaker:like minded like me
Speaker:it pushed me to become better myself
Speaker:mm hmm right
Speaker:so like I said
Speaker:my mom would always be like uh
Speaker:I don't know how you really say in English
Speaker:but in Spanish would be like uh
Speaker:what would you say I blanked out
Speaker:it was like uh
Speaker:surround yourself with uh
Speaker:I guess lazy people you're gonna become yeah
Speaker:yeah tell me who you're hanging out
Speaker:tell you who you are exactly that
Speaker:yeah yeah
Speaker:she'd always tell me that I'd
Speaker:I'd get annoyed like my my
Speaker:no no no
Speaker:like I'm
Speaker:I'm not yeah I
Speaker:but it was a sense of like man
Speaker:I mean I was 19 years old
Speaker:18 years old hanging out
Speaker:doing nothing because my
Speaker:my friends they didn't have any goals in life
Speaker:they didn't want to they didn't have that hunger
Speaker:that drive to like
Speaker:make something for themselves right
Speaker:they were comfortable in the position they're in
Speaker:they had their girlfriends
Speaker:we had our girlfriends we're just having fun whatever
Speaker:yeah but as soon as I
Speaker:like I said right
Speaker:as soon as I surrounded myself with people
Speaker:who are hungry for more and want something
Speaker:I suddenly became one of them too
Speaker:uh huh and it just proves that
Speaker:you gotta choose your circle wisely right
Speaker:uh huh and make sure you're in an environment where
Speaker:I like to see you're not the best one in the room
Speaker:I never want to be the best one in the room
Speaker:uh huh
Speaker:because if you are there's a problem
Speaker:there's a problem
Speaker:there's a problem if you're the best one in the room
Speaker:exactly there
Speaker:where you where's the growth
Speaker:yeah right
Speaker:so yeah bro
Speaker:my mom was right the whole time
Speaker:moms are usually right about everything
Speaker:you know don't hang out with that person
Speaker:that girl is gonna break your heart you
Speaker:these people are not good for you
Speaker:get your ass up they're
Speaker:they always end up being right
Speaker:it's kind of crazy yeah
Speaker:especially about the girls part bro especially
Speaker:tell me about it anyways
Speaker:I mean yeah
Speaker:it's um
Speaker:it's really refreshing uh
Speaker:for me to see uh
Speaker:people our age or a little bit younger
Speaker:a little bit older
Speaker:doing something other than what the regular norm is
Speaker:like for example
Speaker:for me like
Speaker:I had the option no
Speaker:I didn't really have the option
Speaker:but my parents wanted to force me into college right
Speaker:they wanted to uh uh
Speaker:make sure that I had a secure future
Speaker:that I had the career the degree
Speaker:yeah and like whatever
Speaker:and then eventually you know
Speaker:get married have kids
Speaker:and then I guess
Speaker:work until I die exactly right
Speaker:and everyone around me like you said
Speaker:had the same idea and for a very long time
Speaker:I accepted that until I didn't
Speaker:and when I didn't
Speaker:that's when the whole switching friends group happened
Speaker:that's when the whole self development
Speaker:trying to get into the business world uh
Speaker:start to happen and it's just a complete mind shift
Speaker:a complete again
Speaker:change in your life right
Speaker:um you're lucky because you had like
Speaker:the people in your corner
Speaker:that were pushing you to do it
Speaker:in my case I wasn't as um fortunate
Speaker:I mostly it was mostly just myself
Speaker:my friends were just doing their thing
Speaker:going to parties drinking
Speaker:smoking uh
Speaker:chasing girls and for a very long time
Speaker:like I said it was
Speaker:is very lonely
Speaker:it gets very lonely until you graduate from this whole
Speaker:like lonely chapter thing
Speaker:and then you evolve into the new set of friends
Speaker:like you finally find people that are
Speaker:you know like minded
Speaker:and then when you find those people
Speaker:just don't let them go
Speaker:you stay in that room for as long as you can
Speaker:as long as you can you suck up that growth
Speaker:and then you become a newer
Speaker:better version of yourself
Speaker:which in the end that is the whole point of it
Speaker:in the next
Speaker:I don't say three to five years
Speaker:where do you see yourself
Speaker:not necessarily business wise
Speaker:but as a person who is it that you want to become
Speaker:who I want to become five years from now
Speaker:yeah not necessarily like
Speaker:you know oh yeah
Speaker:we want to make a million dollars great
Speaker:but like I'm a multi millionaire by there man
Speaker:yeah of course
Speaker:but like who is that person
Speaker:what what is that person to you
Speaker:I think um
Speaker:I guess in a deeper sense
Speaker:just wanna like actually be as cringe
Speaker:as corny as it sounds like
Speaker:happy with myself bro
Speaker:right um
Speaker:yeah I think every
Speaker:I mean as an entrepreneur
Speaker:as someone who's running a business every single day
Speaker:I doubt myself right yeah
Speaker:not just I guess the business
Speaker:wise too but like
Speaker:more so like the gym and everything
Speaker:all that stuff how I look
Speaker:how I feel uh huh
Speaker:all that stuff hopefully by then like
Speaker:I'm just like understand that like
Speaker:everything happens for a reason okay
Speaker:like
Speaker:I feel confident with who I am
Speaker:what I'm doing
Speaker:and
Speaker:I guess one thing I've been trying to work on a lot
Speaker:is my relationship with god right
Speaker:mm hmm with the Lord himself
Speaker:hopefully by then
Speaker:it's a lot stronger than what it is now
Speaker:cause I did I grew up a Catholic
Speaker:yeah but I didn't grow up like
Speaker:I'll be honest my parents
Speaker:we didn't go to church every single Sunday
Speaker:we didn't do none of that stuff right
Speaker:maybe I'll go to church like twice
Speaker:twice a year yeah
Speaker:twice three times a year
Speaker:right now I go every single Sunday right
Speaker:I like
Speaker:I want to go I
Speaker:it just brings this fulfillment
Speaker:yeah to me
Speaker:so hopefully by then I'm just overall like
Speaker:a better person yeah
Speaker:better guy cause don't get me wrong
Speaker:I've had my past I know I've been disrespectful to
Speaker:I guess the
Speaker:like my past partners right
Speaker:like I said stuff
Speaker:I'm very immature
Speaker:I don't think I'm mature enough yet to where I wanna be
Speaker:so by then I definitely wanna be mature
Speaker:and just be a better person
Speaker:be a better man be a better yeah
Speaker:a role model right
Speaker:be like okay
Speaker:like I'm not this douchebag that I was when I was 19
Speaker:18 saying these stupid stuff
Speaker:or just doing these meaningless like
Speaker:things in life right
Speaker:hopefully by then
Speaker:I have a good sense of direction
Speaker:of what what I'm doing
Speaker:what I wanna be and just have that life where
Speaker:like that I've always dreamed of having it right
Speaker:like that being that I don't know that man
Speaker:yeah the best version of myself
Speaker:mm hmm
Speaker:but yeah
Speaker:I will definitely just not be this douchebag
Speaker:that I've always been known to be bro
Speaker:mm hmm yeah
Speaker:kind of like um
Speaker:it's weird because um
Speaker:kind of in the same way
Speaker:throughout high school it was um
Speaker:a rough time for everybody that was involved with me
Speaker:romantically you know
Speaker:yeah douchebag exactly
Speaker:not really caring it was tough and definitely
Speaker:definitely entrepreneurship takes you
Speaker:it's almost like a whole like
Speaker:self reflection
Speaker:uh
Speaker:slap in the face like
Speaker:you really do need to change your ways
Speaker:in order to succeed yeah
Speaker:and in like you said
Speaker:in order and in that sense
Speaker:it makes you a better person so
Speaker:when it comes to being happy
Speaker:I think that I feel the same way
Speaker:you know I eventually want to be happy
Speaker:but I don't think
Speaker:I talked to this guy yesterday
Speaker:his name is Caleb I'm pretty sure by this
Speaker:by the time this goes up his interview will be out
Speaker:he so he manages his dad's um
Speaker:his dad's business and then he started his own uh
Speaker:like this year
Speaker:you know he's closing this year off
Speaker:like at 100 k or something like that
Speaker:okay fine
Speaker:but
Speaker:I've never in my life seen a man as happy as this man
Speaker:really yeah
Speaker:he's 26 years old
Speaker:he's been managing his dad's business for like
Speaker:maybe like 3
Speaker:4 years started his this year
Speaker:and this man is content he is absolutely thrilled
Speaker:he's not rushing anything
Speaker:he is taking his time
Speaker:he has a beautiful relationship with his girl
Speaker:and he he was telling
Speaker:he was telling us about that
Speaker:and like I tell you
Speaker:I was I was ready to go into this
Speaker:into the interview talking about business and whatever
Speaker:numbers and metrics and systems
Speaker:we ended up talking about emotions
Speaker:we ended up talking about relationships
Speaker:we ended up talking like
Speaker:how to love yourself and accept yourself
Speaker:and so like
Speaker:the fact that you tell me like
Speaker:I just wanna be happy
Speaker:I wanna be a better version of myself
Speaker:I don't think necessarily
Speaker:you have to go through all the pain
Speaker:of entrepreneurship and starting something new
Speaker:in order to make that happen
Speaker:oh yeah
Speaker:I can see that for sure yeah
Speaker:because I mean again
Speaker:there's this man that just started it
Speaker:and he's doing 100 k which is like
Speaker:the easiest thing to do in the world
Speaker:at least when you get to that point
Speaker:and like
Speaker:I don't I again
Speaker:you know Caleb you
Speaker:I know you're watching this so like
Speaker:shout out to you but it's
Speaker:it's insane you don't need to
Speaker:you don't need to like
Speaker:psychologically mess yourself up in a business
Speaker:in order to be happy
Speaker:sometimes you can find it in any other way
Speaker:so I think that
Speaker:you might be closer to your goal than you think
Speaker:maybe you just need to take a few steps back
Speaker:look up and not only just me
Speaker:maybe be grateful but take it all in
Speaker:you know you have the ability
Speaker:and the freedom to do what it is that you want
Speaker:whenever you want
Speaker:that in itself is a blessing
Speaker:but you're also surrounded by people that
Speaker:not only respect you
Speaker:but love you and want the best for you
Speaker:so maybe maybe that is enough
Speaker:you know it's just something to think about
Speaker:yeah bro
Speaker:never really thought about that way
Speaker:I think I always grew up insecure bro
Speaker:I'll be honest right
Speaker:I was always a fat kid mm hmm
Speaker:so I think that's the reason why I love the gym so much
Speaker:because I get to better myself in the thing
Speaker:you know chase that goal
Speaker:I ever had that goal I had since I was a kid
Speaker:so I mean
Speaker:I'll be honest I always struggled with
Speaker:uh accepting who I am myself
Speaker:yeah accepting myself right
Speaker:especially uh
Speaker:short short guy right here right
Speaker:hey Short Kings
Speaker:Short Kings
Speaker:and so that also like
Speaker:played a role right
Speaker:like I'm short
Speaker:I'm fat like whatever
Speaker:but I mean
Speaker:you can't control everything in life
Speaker:and everything's meant to happen for a reason
Speaker:I'm the way I am for a reason right
Speaker:and I have these goals for a reason
Speaker:so I'm just going day by day
Speaker:you know with this mindset that I'll make it happen
Speaker:and one day I'll have it you know
Speaker:yeah I'll reach that and go
Speaker:whatever it is yeah
Speaker:I'll I'll do it because
Speaker:I mean it's what I'm destined for
Speaker:that's like how it's like to see yep
Speaker:what I'm called for right
Speaker:yeah bro
Speaker:yeah sometimes it's a little closer than you think
Speaker:yeah but that's great dude
Speaker:I think we're gonna wrap it up
Speaker:so we can get it hawking in here
Speaker:hawking in um
Speaker:I believe in premium guys
Speaker:believe in premium believe in premium
Speaker:before we wrap up two things
Speaker:one um
Speaker:you have any questions for me
Speaker:anything you wanna know any questions
Speaker:advice you want yeah
Speaker:I guess bro
Speaker:like let me ask you like
Speaker:what made you cause you mentioned the whole college
Speaker:like your parents
Speaker:me too right
Speaker:my parents college
Speaker:college college
Speaker:even still now right
Speaker:like college
Speaker:college now
Speaker:I don't care OK
Speaker:sure you made 100 k whatever
Speaker:but to this day my mother still like
Speaker:when are you gonna go to college
Speaker:when are you gonna get a degree
Speaker:when are you gonna get a degree
Speaker:I'm just like
Speaker:at this point I'm just like mom
Speaker:someday someday yeah
Speaker:you just gotta be like yeah mom
Speaker:I'm in the world like
Speaker:am I right now oh
Speaker:my god we'll do this
Speaker:Alex put this out to the world
Speaker:like I
Speaker:I failed all my classes this semester
Speaker:except for one class
Speaker:and my mom thinks I passed all of them
Speaker:and now she's been asking me for the past week hey
Speaker:I think I think Nova's like
Speaker:classes ended already like
Speaker:where are your grades like
Speaker:let me see your grades I keep putting it off
Speaker:yeah but truth
Speaker:I mean
Speaker:it's meant to happen we'll see
Speaker:but I guess my question is
Speaker:um
Speaker:since you know
Speaker:your parents were pushing you for like
Speaker:college college college
Speaker:like what actually made you start that business
Speaker:like why
Speaker:okay so
Speaker:let me take you through what I thought
Speaker:and what I did in that moment
Speaker:so
Speaker:from from the beginning
Speaker:I knew that I wanted a lot of money
Speaker:okay and I wanted it
Speaker:and then I wanted a lot of money
Speaker:first of all because grew up
Speaker:you know again like
Speaker:first generation uh
Speaker:American uh
Speaker:my parents when they came
Speaker:we didn't have a lot we didn't grow up on a lot
Speaker:there's a lot of things that I wanted but
Speaker:you know we couldn't get and stuff
Speaker:and started working very early on
Speaker:I started working at 14 trying to make my own money
Speaker:buy my own things buy my own shoes
Speaker:yeah my own everything
Speaker:and so I was like I don't want this for my kids ever
Speaker:I don't want anybody to go through this under my care
Speaker:right so I was like OK
Speaker:literally I gotta make a
Speaker:I gotta make a shit ton of money
Speaker:so I would literally sit there and I would be like
Speaker:uh top paying jobs
Speaker:like like
Speaker:what is it like 2018 or something like that
Speaker:whenever I looked at it and I was like okay
Speaker:we have like like uh
Speaker:surgeon like some kind of doctor
Speaker:uh lawyer
Speaker:this and this I was like okay
Speaker:you know maybe I wanna be a doctor
Speaker:so then I would I would be OK
Speaker:what do I have to do to be a doctor
Speaker:and then it's like fucking doctor school for 12 years
Speaker:after college and after high school
Speaker:I'm just like dude
Speaker:I'm gonna spend the next what
Speaker:26 years of my life not even 26
Speaker:like probably like 15 years of my life
Speaker:doing college and doctor school and all that shit
Speaker:just to what make like
Speaker:three hundred thousand dollars or something a year
Speaker:there's someone out there just makes like that
Speaker:exactly so I was like okay
Speaker:there has to be an easier way
Speaker:cause there's people making bajillions of dollars
Speaker:what am I doing wrong so then I would look at
Speaker:you know entrepreneurs
Speaker:people that started companies
Speaker:CEOs and be okay
Speaker:do they have a college degree
Speaker:what is it why
Speaker:why are they so special and then you go down this like
Speaker:whole rabbit hole of things
Speaker:and then I was like okay
Speaker:maybe I just need to start something
Speaker:and then that's when you go into the
Speaker:into the okay
Speaker:what am I gonna end up doing
Speaker:you get into like
Speaker:the whole hamster wheel of entrepreneurship
Speaker:and doing this and doing that
Speaker:different business models
Speaker:and throughout the whole thing
Speaker:I constantly have my parents in the back of my head
Speaker:like college college
Speaker:college college
Speaker:college college
Speaker:and at some point I was just like bro
Speaker:like I'm tired of this like
Speaker:like no
Speaker:I don't want to do this you know I
Speaker:I don't want to I
Speaker:I would tell bro
Speaker:we would go into arguments
Speaker:and I was like mom
Speaker:I don't want to do this like
Speaker:just let me figure this out on my own
Speaker:and then she's like no
Speaker:I'm doing this for your own good
Speaker:uh like
Speaker:you need to you need to do better than us
Speaker:blah blah blah
Speaker:and I'm just like you have a point
Speaker:I get it you know
Speaker:you're doing this out of love
Speaker:yeah you know
Speaker:no one not doing it out of
Speaker:just because doing it out of love but it's like
Speaker:you have to have that self belief that
Speaker:like undeniably
Speaker:almost insane self belief
Speaker:that somehow you're gonna make it work
Speaker:in order to happen
Speaker:and sometimes you just need to not say anything
Speaker:shut up and just do exactly
Speaker:just do the thing actions
Speaker:I Learned that bro
Speaker:I Learned that yeah
Speaker:cause you can you can argue
Speaker:and you can argue as much as you want
Speaker:like they're
Speaker:they're adults the thing about adults is that
Speaker:nothing gets to their head right
Speaker:they've lived 30 40+ years with the idea of how life is
Speaker:through their heads
Speaker:they're not gonna change their habits
Speaker:that it's fine they're
Speaker:they're already built like that
Speaker:so the only thing you can really do is prove them wrong
Speaker:exactly right
Speaker:um and so I was like
Speaker:I was like okay mom listen
Speaker:this is what I'm gonna do
Speaker:I'll go to college
Speaker:but I'm also gonna I'm also gonna do this on the side
Speaker:and then we'll see what pops out first
Speaker:and then I mean
Speaker:I dropped out of college without her knowing
Speaker:how long you've been dropped out for
Speaker:oh I've been dropped out for like years
Speaker:I I think I only did it like
Speaker:maybe half a semester maybe like a month
Speaker:a month tops and I was like
Speaker:this is not for me bro
Speaker:yeah cause I
Speaker:cause I went in for a business administration
Speaker:that's what I mean bro
Speaker:and I'm just like
Speaker:this is so dumb oh my gosh
Speaker:this is so boring I could not do it
Speaker:and so I was like okay
Speaker:well then I started the thing
Speaker:and then I
Speaker:I have Learned more in the past three years
Speaker:that I have in like
Speaker:my 18 year or like 12 year long public education
Speaker:so yeah
Speaker:yeah and I've also made more money than like
Speaker:the fucking six years that I've been working at all
Speaker:so it's um
Speaker:it's definitely something to think about it
Speaker:but it's it's still to this day like
Speaker:when are you gonna do this
Speaker:when are you gonna do that
Speaker:when are you gonna get your degree
Speaker:go to school do something
Speaker:do you think it'll ever go away
Speaker:it'll go away maybe when I tell her mom
Speaker:you don't have to work again
Speaker:yeah or maybe
Speaker:hey mom
Speaker:I bought you this go over there
Speaker:my mom tells me
Speaker:I don't care how much money you're gonna make
Speaker:you can you can make hundred 300
Speaker:400 k like k a year
Speaker:you still gotta get a degree yeah
Speaker:she tells me that I'm just like
Speaker:I'm just like okay mom listen
Speaker:maybe someday
Speaker:when I have a shit ton of money and I have like
Speaker:a bunch of time
Speaker:maybe I'll go in and I'll do it just for you haha
Speaker:but until then no
Speaker:yeah I mean she
Speaker:she at this point
Speaker:I mean she's calmed down definitely
Speaker:she's kind of
Speaker:accepted the fact that I'm doing this for a living
Speaker:okay so it just takes time
Speaker:and sometimes you know
Speaker:moving away uh
Speaker:living by yourself kind of helps out that relationship
Speaker:as well so you live alone
Speaker:I do
Speaker:yeah I
Speaker:I have yeah
Speaker:I'm the one that kind of encouraged Bristol to move out
Speaker:no way bro I
Speaker:yeah I moved out at 18
Speaker:wow yeah it's
Speaker:it's good it has its perks and it has its downfalls
Speaker:I bet I bet
Speaker:I bet I bet
Speaker:but I mean
Speaker:I had I had to get
Speaker:I had to do I cannot stay there
Speaker:for my own sanity and for my parents sanity
Speaker:I just had to go so
Speaker:I wanna move out dude
Speaker:I wanna move out you shouldn't
Speaker:next year should I
Speaker:yeah I want to
Speaker:this is like I literally copy and paste conversation
Speaker:copy and paste I'll tell you
Speaker:I'll tell you this I'll tell you this
Speaker:tell me why I should move out
Speaker:like sell me on why
Speaker:I'll tell you why you shouldn't
Speaker:why I shouldn't yeah
Speaker:I don't need to I don't need to tell you why you should
Speaker:because everybody knows you should
Speaker:yeah I'll tell you why you shouldn't move out
Speaker:tell me don't move out if you don't believe in yourself
Speaker:right don't move out if you don't think you have the
Speaker:you have the responsibility
Speaker:or if you don't think that you can
Speaker:take on the responsibility
Speaker:of taking care of yourself
Speaker:don't move out
Speaker:if you don't think you can make the money uh
Speaker:in time don't move out
Speaker:if you're gonna go into debt
Speaker:don't move out if
Speaker:if you're moving out for the wrong reasons
Speaker:as in like
Speaker:to have more freedom to do whatever you want
Speaker:to go out whenever you want
Speaker:don't move out
Speaker:if you're gonna move out just to bring girls in
Speaker:don't move out you know
Speaker:they're all pointing at you
Speaker:they're all pointing at you
Speaker:I don't know anything I don't know anything
Speaker:I'm just saying I'm looking
Speaker:my business partner right now
Speaker:this guy dang
Speaker:this time in the back is crazy
Speaker:but um yeah
Speaker:I mean like
Speaker:it's great and all but
Speaker:it definitely takes a level of responsibility
Speaker:and self accountability
Speaker:because there's no one stopping you
Speaker:there's no one looking over your shoulder
Speaker:there's no one cooking meals for you
Speaker:there's no one telling you to make your bed
Speaker:to pick up your clothes
Speaker:there's no one cleaning the bathroom for you
Speaker:there's no one that's gonna be like
Speaker:open the door for me like
Speaker:you have to have your own key
Speaker:you know in a way
Speaker:so it's like yeah
Speaker:it's a lot more than goes with
Speaker:than just paying rent
Speaker:so it's also like you literally going out in
Speaker:into the world by yourself
Speaker:so it's a lot to think about
Speaker:but again the upsides are infinite
Speaker:I guess growth
Speaker:why so much growth it comes from there a lot of
Speaker:not even just business growth
Speaker:just like
Speaker:overall personal growth like growth yeah
Speaker:you really figure yourself out when you're by yourself
Speaker:does it get lonely like
Speaker:when you actually it gets very lonely
Speaker:it gets very lonely I mean
Speaker:there's a period of time it's like
Speaker:I don't know two
Speaker:three months that I just
Speaker:I would not I wouldn't go anywhere
Speaker:I was really busy I would just work
Speaker:come home
Speaker:work more work more
Speaker:work more get up
Speaker:like go to sleep
Speaker:get up do the same thing over and over again
Speaker:and it gets lonely and sometimes
Speaker:sometimes when you're in the thick of it
Speaker:and you're like doing this over and over again
Speaker:16 hour days whatever
Speaker:you don't realize anything
Speaker:you don't realize how you're feeling
Speaker:because you're too busy doing it
Speaker:but then when you have that final rest
Speaker:and you're settling down and you're like
Speaker:on your couch eating something
Speaker:you're like fuck
Speaker:I'm so lonely like where
Speaker:where are my boys my boys are busy in college
Speaker:or my boys are busy working
Speaker:or they're with their girlfriends
Speaker:or they're doing this or they're doing that
Speaker:and I'm just like hmm
Speaker:it'd be nice to maybe have my mom here
Speaker:or not you know
Speaker:I guess 100% and then again
Speaker:that's good and that's bad
Speaker:and good in the fact that you miss
Speaker:and you value a little bit more
Speaker:mm hmm um
Speaker:and probably bad in the fact that you just need to like
Speaker:it's a phase that you need to grow out of right
Speaker:and it's something that you need to get through
Speaker:but it does get lonely but sometimes lonely is good
Speaker:yeah I guess you get uncomfortable right
Speaker:you're like in a little situation where like OK
Speaker:it's me now yeah
Speaker:you gotta I mean
Speaker:it's been I have
Speaker:I have a roommate now so it's all good
Speaker:but I mean I don't mind
Speaker:I like I don't mind being by myself
Speaker:at first it was a big problem with me
Speaker:I didn't want to be alone
Speaker:but now it's just like you know
Speaker:you learn to accept yourself
Speaker:you learn to be happy with yourself
Speaker:you learn to love yourself
Speaker:and once you do that
Speaker:there's really nothing that can stop you
Speaker:so thanks bro
Speaker:yeah thank you
Speaker:of course
Speaker:alright well
Speaker:before we wrap up one question
Speaker:we have a we have a mic
Speaker:we have cameras we have social media
Speaker:we have the possibility of reaching a bunch of people
Speaker:if you had one message to tell our generation
Speaker:the generations to come to either uplift them
Speaker:or get them to do the thing
Speaker:that they've been putting off forever
Speaker:what would that be what would that message be
Speaker:yeah I mean
Speaker:you're young right
Speaker:like I said earlier
Speaker:there's whatever that is
Speaker:whatever that business model is you wanna do
Speaker:whatever that dream or goal you have
Speaker:just do it because at the end of the day
Speaker:you have one life
Speaker:so you don't want to live a life full of regret
Speaker:of I wish I did it or I should have done it
Speaker:but more so try everything there is right
Speaker:experiment go in
Speaker:bet on yourself
Speaker:take that risk cause who knows
Speaker:who knows right
Speaker:maybe it'll work out and if it doesn't
Speaker:you tried bro
Speaker:you tried but if you're young
Speaker:just take that risk go on and make it happen
Speaker:make it happen make it happen Mark
