This is a Note To Future Me. Hi. This is Brett Johnson, your host and the owner of, Circle 270 Media Podcast Consultants. We are recording a new studio and going to do some sound checking as well as some EQ. And if you're hearing a little bit of sound that sounds a little different than what you're used to, it's just some trial and error with a new studio. But we do want to put out a podcast episode for this week that is talking about why podcasting is the future for your business. In my experience working with our clients, there are four ways that podcasts can benefit your own business. Number one traffic generation. Not only can podcasts be shared internally, but they can also be used to target your audience of consumers. Think about what your ideal target market wants to hear from you in 1520, maybe even 30 minutes. It's as if you're talking to them one-to-one, and they're absorbing all you have to say. That is an incredibly powerful tool to have in your arsenal. The added bonus is that if they like your content, they're going to talk about it, your brand, and your business to others, increasing your traffic. Number two is convenience. Your audience and clients can listen to your podcast on the go, giving them the option to multitask while still consuming your episodes with little to no effort. Once your listener subscribes to your podcast, your episodes are going to automatically be added to the library, meaning they don't have to search for each new episode using keywords. You and your words will already be waiting for them. Number three brand building. Giving your market and audience different ways to consume your content and showing that you're an expert in your field gives you brand power. And number four, additional revenue streams. If you become successful in publishing and engaging different audience types, the industry can be quite lucrative. In the US. Alone, podcast ad revenue is expected to reach well over $2 billion. The more consistent you are in your average, the more you'll grow. Consistency and that ever omnipresence is key. If you're just getting started launching your very own podcast for your business and you're deciding on which route to take, I would highly suggest contacting us here at Circle 270 Media Podcast Consultants. You can schedule a time through either Circle270Media.Com or Mypodcastguy.com. All that information is in the Podcast Show Notes, as well as sign up for my weekly Open to Mike newsletter. While you're there.
