Went to that conference, met some amazing people there and some, met some podcast listeners. I met the amazing Monique Aristobal. So hi Monique. She actually when we were having a catch up, she said, Oh, can you speak a bit further?

[00:00:41] I went, yeah, of course I can. And she, you're Mike, you do the podcast. I listen to you. I was like, Oh my God, thank you very much. I want to give a big shout out to Ricardo Xu. I say random because I was just coming out of the restroom and I was talking to a friend. I just washed my hands.

I was like, no, thanks very much. Yeah. Just give us a minute. I never actually got to speak to him. So random guy in Barcelona.

What's happening just done these couple of conferences then heading to AFP next week actually when I record this That's why I [00:02:00] wanted to release this now Speaking on the Tuesday.

I'm speaking with the amazing Leanne Perkins from Leanne Perkins and also We're gonna have Joel Campbell two previous People who I've shared a stage with who I just love and adore. They are great, great guests. We're going to be talking about hybrid, this new way of working, the new world that we work in and things like that.

[00:02:27] I've got some more things to contribute, if you like, from some of the clients I've been working with this year, particularly in the U S and about how hybrid is working and returned to the office, we've also got our treasury career corner live event happening end of November. So in a couple of weeks, the amazing Craig Perkins has done a great job.

[00:02:47] Last year, we got our numbers up to 100 and then a few dropouts on the day, so we had about 90 people in the room. This time, he hasn't even tried. He has tried hard, he's done rather well. He's got out to people. [00:03:00] Within two days, he had 106 people say they wanted to come to the event. And we're still six weeks away.

[00:03:05] So there will be some. There is some more room. They are expanding the room for us. I think it takes about 140. So do reach out to us if you want to come to Treasury Korea Corner live. That's happening. I think it's the 23rd. I will double check the 23rd in London. We're doing that with Herbert's Herbert Smith offices on Thursday 23rd.

[00:03:25] So yeah, definitely come along. But before that AFP San Diego. So speaking on the Tuesday, the 24th of October at 2 PM, follow the link, come to the session. It's going to be amazing, but I get actually out to San Diego flight on Friday. So be at the conference on throughout the conference, but I'm going to be there on the Sunday.

[00:03:51] I'm going to watch John Cena, the keynote speaker that I'm really looking forward to. That'd be really good. And then after that, so I think his keynote [00:04:00] finishes about six o'clock. I'm going to hang around by the ICD stand. Very big stand. Love the guys at ICD, meeting up with some good friends there. They do these surveys that just don't mean anything when they say, Oh, Treasury manager get played 120, 000 to [00:06:00] 180, 000. So what doesn't mean anything? You don't mean it. How many people did you survey to do that?

[00:06:05] We know we survey you guys. We produce the numbers. We share it with you. You get access to it. If you are a Treasury professional, you If you're not, sorry, we can't give it to you. But get one of your treasury teams to do it. Then you can have a look at the survey. Don't mind that as well. So, yeah, so later salary survey update, we're going to run it again.

[00:06:25] I want to run it again. We're going to be away, but we're going to launch it this week, middle of October.
