Welcome back to the Maya Games.

This episode is part two in what I think will be an 11 part series on the astrology of 2026.

I'm collaborating with 10.

I think of my peers, friends, teachers, in some cases students and former students, fellow astrologers who mostly are also fluent in the language of human design and many of which are also looking at kairos time unfolding through the lens of the global cycles.

So study and the key change taking place in 2027 in the last episode, part one of the series.

In episode 32 of the Maya Games, I introduce the intention, the invitation of this series.

And other than that introduction, I think these conversations can be listened to in or out of order.

And of course even the introduction isn't necessary.

To borrow a phrase from that first episode, Amalia used the words romancing the planets.

And that is.

That's a large part of the intention of the series.

And this conversation that I have with my friend Ariana Felix is the first in chronological time of the conversations in which we're really going deep into and romancing the role that one particular planet plays in the interwoven orchestration of cosmic curriculum this year and beyond.

In this conversation, Ari and I dig deep into Mars.

This conversation, being the first of the planetary conversations for me, was not intended and in fact made me.

It kind of threw me.

It kind of threw me off and got me a little nervous.

And I talk about that a bit at the beginning of the episode with Ari.

But I'm so glad it ended up working out this way because as Ari reoriented me a few days ahead of us recording this conversation, Mars is a.

Is a ruler.

Mars this year is not just a player, but a ruler.

Mars is in charge.

Mars in Charge was my alternate title for this episode.

And so it actually was really helpful for me to calibrate to that.

What does it mean for Mars to be in charge this year as a foundation for some of the other conversations I've since had and will have moving forward.

Ari is a perfect person to have this conversation with.

Ari is, like me, a native whose sun is ruled by Mars.

Ari has Sun, Mercury, Mars and Pluto all in Scorpio, and I have Sun, Mercury and Venus in Aries.

But you can really feel the depth that Ari brings to this conversation and also to an understanding, an assimilated, integrated, embodied understanding of the functionality of Mars in both their life and their work and their teaching, and also in their influence of me as a teacher and a friend and in the depth that they bring to this conversation.

So I'm so so grateful that Ari brings the generosity of their own understanding of Mars and their presence and their individuated knowing to this series as well as to my life in general.

Many of you have heard me talk about how in 2020 I moved to the desert where I live now on my Pluto Ascendant line and I've just been in this period of intense hermitude isolation shadow work here.

And yeah, my friendship with Ari has paralleled that.

I got to know Ari shortly after moving here.

Ari helped me through a really challenging situation and and has remained a teacher, a guide, a very close valued friend and a powerful mirror for me.

Ari not only has all of this martial influence from the other side, the Night Sect, maybe more mature side of Mars, the the side of Mars with a bit more depth perhaps than the simple local youthful Aries version of it that I radiate, but Ari is also a Leo rising.

And so there's a real, there's a real theme of individuation that I just have to say radiates again that radiates that permeates through Ari's work, knowledge, essence, teachings.

And as you'll hear Ari and I discuss, individuation is a prime motivator, a prime demand, perhaps a primary task this year.

And so I'm really grateful that Ari graced me and you listeners with with their embodied wisdom in this conversation.

I was telling Ari before we hit record that I've been feeling, like, kind of on the edge of weepiness a lot, but in a way that feels, I think, good.

Like, kind of comforting.

I've been prescribing.

Prescribing, Associating.

That's a better word, with the Neptune egress and ingress.

So perhaps it's that, perhaps it's many things.

But, yeah, I had, like, a really potent experience yesterday morning.

Very innocently, didn't plan to.

I didn't even know what time the ingress was until I was reading something online and then just like, yeah, it was really surrounded by an experience, like, permeated by a really intense, energetic experience.

And then, yeah, it's taken many shapes since the moment yesterday where I was feeling really clear and inspired and good.

But there's still just a potency of emotion.

And maybe y' all saw my reel about my freedom nap yesterday.

Well, that was great.

Salima transferred to her crib for the first time in a couple months for me.

And so it was like, literally the first time I had a little stretch of bodily autonomy midday on my few days a week that I'm in stay at home mom mode.

But then she proceeded to be awake for three hours in the middle of the night, so.

So I'm tired.

So that's the other piece of what's here.

But I'm kind of grateful a little bit, or at least accepting of the slight sleep deprivation haze because I was feeling nervous about this convo and now, yeah, my energy, my nerves are a little dull just from being tired.

So we'll take the sleep deprivation bonus.

Yeah.

How are we finding you?

I'm snowed in with my fiance, and that's been really, really nice.

I was telling you that we've, or we haven't even told him this, but I've been calling it dysregulation station since Mars Entered Aquarius and has been approaching Pluto.

We've both been pretty sensitive and a little edgy and a little reactive really, to just pull out a very traditional Mars signification.

But there's been this really cool, which this is Pluto, kind of like any outer planet, I think, speeds things up and slows things down simultaneously.

So I feel like Pluto kind of magnifies what's happening.

So you can see it even as it's happening very quickly with Mars.

And so an Aquarius is so detached.

So we're recording this on Mars Pluto conjunction Aquarius, which is the first super significant contact that Mars is having with an outer planet this year.

Because we did have an already early January.

We already had a very significant Mars transit for 2026, which was its exalted cazimi.

So anyway, jumping ahead a bit, but all of this informs this moment where we've been snowed in together with this energy.

And it's been really nice to just have the time and the space.

Fortunately, he didn't have to go to work, so we've just been able to like, notice what comes up, attend to it, and move on and like, enjoy the pleasure of each other's company.

And so I feel very like.

I don't know.

And something about like, you know, fresh almost foot of snow.

I did feel very renewed.

And I was thinking about what you were saying about feeling weepy and like we've both been feeling that way and we both cried multiple times the last several days.

And I'm like, oh, it's kind of like emotional sweating, you know, like, that's Mars.

Because like, you know, you had said before hopped on like, oh, you're not triggered or you're not.

Like, it's not a wallowing kind of thing.

It's very like sensorial.

It's very primal.

It's very physical.

And so it's like, yeah, this discharge, this like Martian discharge emotionally because emotions are energy in motion through the body.

So Mars has a lot of influence there.

So I've literally been kind of in a very Mars, Pluto, Aquarius boot camp this weekend that's going to Zach today.

And today I'll go back to my apartment and we'll kind of leave this conjunction dysregulation station.

Yes.

But I feel good.

I feel like.

I feel like I've been like doing emotional workouts, like, and like very Aquarius, like regulation workouts the last several days.

And in this like, structure of containment.

So, yeah, that's how I guess it's still none of that says anything really about how I'm feeling.

But I know it does.

It does great.

There's just a lot of.

A lot of content.

Perspiring is my update after that.

I am perspiring emotionally.

Yeah.

There was something that you said, working.

I can't remember your exact words, but it was like, working through things quickly.

That theme has been really present in the last, like, stretched over some time, but then especially in the last, like, like.

Right.

Yeah.

Yesterday morning I was having a conversation with some folks and.

Oh, let me go a little back in time.

So this is something I've been watching myself feel shame about for a few months, is how quickly I emotionally process through stuff.

And I see it like, astrologically, I see it as like my first house, sag moon, Trine, all my Aries shit ruled by a Mars in Gemini.

Like, I'm just feeling fast.

Like.

And I'm impatient is also it.

I'm impatient and I'm fast motivated.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And so, like, I don't have a lot.

I don't have much tolerance for discomfort.

And so when there's discomfort, I tend to it.

You know, shared some of my astrological reasoning for that cross of upheaval in human design 3955, which.

The 39 is part of that cross, that emotional provocation channel.

But yeah, I've.

I've just been noticing.

I don't know if I. I don't.

I think I do have some.

I've had some shame about just the speed at which I process through stuff because sometimes it makes me feel unrelatable.

Like, unrelatable when people are processing through stuff at a different speed.

And it makes me wonder, am I doing it wrong?

Is it okay for me to be here with this?

But then I also think lately I've been feeling shame about acknowledging that I process through things quickly.

Like, as though that means something about me that I shouldn't be saying out loud or something.

And anyways, I don't mean to go here necessarily, but it came up yesterday morning because I was checking in with some folks on our discord on the orbit field.

Discord.

And I was just like, how are we?

And I was noting, like, I was feeling myself get kind of pulled, having one of my moments where I kind of feel.

I've been explaining it lately as like, my defined spleen is going off and it's like, pay attention.

And I get kind of back in the news cycle again.

Not in a way that feels like, bad.

It's like my spleen, my body's like, Alert.

Let's pay attention now in a way that's different than I do in my day to day life.

And so, yeah, I was just like checking in with where people were at with that and sharing a little bit about where I was at.

And two people reflected in their shares without me having said anything about it, that they felt themselves process through stuff much more quickly than they would have before and hold it differently and arrive differently.

And I thought it was such a beautiful representation of this shift from Neptune in Pisces to Neptune in Aries.

And I'm kind of seeing some connections too between what the Uranus in Taurus assignment has been and how that might support us in the Uranus in Gemini assignment, which we can or cannot get into.

But yeah, I think the thing I wanted to note and process aloud here and draw a connection around is that hearing two other people bring up that they notice this shift towards a faster assimilation and arrival to acceptance than they've experienced in the past.

Something in that was so validating for me and so encouraging for me.

And I'm, I think, starting to see some connections between that being a theme not only this year, but like in the large scale of human evolution right now.

And yeah, it just was really nice to see it reflected outside of me, to give a little context to my own experience and help me relax a little bit of my own insecurity that I feel curious about with that.

And it doesn't not feel like Mars.

It doesn't not feel like a Mars thing.

No.

Yeah, I see it even beyond or before Neptune or any other planets.

I see it as a Mars thing.

But, you know, that is substantiated by the fact that Neptune in Aries is ruled by Mars.

So we're entering this era of Saturn and Neptune, who are such atmospheric influencers.

You know, they're both gonna be in Aries, which is ruled by Mars.

So the texture of all the significations that come with those two planets is going to be informed by what Mars is about.

And I think that speed and I think the speed and acceleration, like how I see it from my vantage point is so Mars, Pluto, because that's what Pluto does.

It's like we're gonna amplify and exacerbate or magnify this.

And we can also do the opposite.

We can minimize, you know, diminish, like reduce.

But whatever is happening happens fast.

You know, when there's that direct contact with a planet.

And so when you have direct contact with Mars, it's like, it's interesting cause I'm thinking about this snowstorm.

It's taken, you know, quite a bit of land and it's taken over and there's all this snow.

But the last layer of it was ice.

So it snowed for hours and hours, but then it just iced for hours and hours.

So there's like, the snow is very soft.

It's very, like powdery, dusty, or, you know, accumulative.

But the ice is a layer on top.

And so you can literally walk on the snow without crushing into it because of that.

And that's kind of how I see Aquarius.

It's just like we can just skate along here.

You know, there's enough of that perspective.

There's enough containment.

There's enough solidity with Saturn, Aquarius, that we can just kind of like things are so cooled down, you know, that we can see them in a more.

The best words that we usually have for it is objective or detached or, you know, spacious.

Neutral.

Yeah, neutral way.

But what that actually, the conditions that, that actually facilitates are those of speed and momentum.

When we're dealing with perspective.

Yeah.

When we're dealing with Mars.

So, yeah, I see everything you shared is directly relevant to our conversation today because I think exactly what you brought up is like kind of the call to action.

This year is like, this year is about momentum.

This year is about Mars.

And I love that we're starting the recording sequence with Mars because everyone's like Saturn, Neptune, and all these other things that are obviously important on their own, but rulership matters.

And when rulership is delineated to an inner planet, the way that it operates is so much closer to home.

You know, Saturn in Pisces, ruled by Jupiter is just kind of like, okay, there's this big, long, slow thing occurring, right.

But Saturn, Neptune ruled by Aries, we're looking at Mars changing signs because there's no retrograde.

This year, this first initial year, Saturn, Neptune in Aries, Mars changing signs every like six to eight weeks.

So we're looking at like every arena getting boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

Yeah, that's opponent.

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

You know, like, so momentum with no mercy is how I would kind of summarize here.

So, yeah, being able to move the things quickly and get the fuck on is going to be not only an evolutionary byproduct of these conditions, but a necessity and imperative.

Yeah, I want to tell my little story here because it's what you just, you just landed at the.

The.

What's the.

The line of the end of something like the finish Line.

The.

When it's a joke.

The punchline.

Oh, the punchline.

Oh, yeah, that's the word I was looking for.

Yeah.

So I was like, yeah, I got all in my head like a week ago.

About a week ago.

Is that when I reached out to you?

No, it was like, yeah, a little.

Less than a week.

I think it was.

It might have literally even been Mars ingress into Aquarius.

But that sounds right.

Yeah, we can fact check that later.

I had recorded the first call with Amalia, and I was feeling even clearer about my intention and my having made space for this conversation of Ceres.

I was feeling very grounded in it.

And then I was feeling organically drawn to being in my process with some of the other planets.

I'm really in chiron exploration right now.

And that's the next convoy I'm going to record with Jonathan.

And the Neptune stuff is obviously very here.

And I kept being like, but I need to be thinking about Mars, because I'm talking to Ari first about Mars.

Like, I need to get on the Mars track.

And I just wasn't feeling organically inspired to think about Mars.

And so I went through the steps of all the things I usually do that put me in a position of being able to passively process and passively simmer and passively source inspiration.

And a lot of times what that is for me is I will like my left mind.

I will find something to focus on and do a little research, do a little study, but usually very quickly.

Then I'm like, okay, here's the thing, and I start flowing with it.

And it just wasn't working for me with Mars.

And so I started getting even more panicky.

And I was like, is it weird to start with Mars?

Because the way I've thought about.

And this is what I ended up in large part ended up voice noting Ari about was, for the last few years, the way I've really been orienting to looking at the quality of time.

What some might call forecasting, like looking at a large chunk of time, is I go to the outer planets first, and I think of them as, like, the lower tones or the drones.

And I see them as.

What did you call them?

Atmospheric influencers.

And then I consider the midtones, Jupiter, Saturn, the nodes and then the upper tones, the personal planets, the luminaries, to be like the chord changes and the melodies that happen over those contexts.

And so I was having a hard time because I hadn't taken my time yet to really sit with how I wanted to be with and to pull one Of Amalia's terms from the last episode Romance each of the planets.

I hadn't taken my time to really romance Pluto, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter.

Yet in the way that I want to, I was like, mars, how does it fit in?

And then I reached out to Ari and I was like, I think this is fine, but I'm nervous and I want to talk to you because I want to know how you're thinking about it.

And I knew in that moment that I just needed to attune to you.

Like, that's the thing I knew I needed to do.

I was like, part of attuning to Mars will just be attuning to this person who is Mars and who I'll be talking about Mars with.

And yeah, right away, Ari, I think you were texting as you were listening, so getting some your real time responses.

And one of the first things that you said was, I think it's good and normal to be nervous about starting with Mars.

And then you said, and you think it makes sense to start with Mars, which I think you've already articulated a bit, but I'll ask you to go back to that point in a moment.

But really what happened within the first few text messages that you sent me was you reoriented me immediately from Mars as a player to Mars as a ruler.

And that just hadn't.

Of course, I knew Mars is ruling some of the major astrology this year, but I was thinking about it in this other way that we could maybe say is outdated from the last few years where Mars really was a player and not a ruler.

And so as soon as I read that text where you were drawing me into the role that Mars plays this year as the ruler of Saturn, in large part, and Neptune, my whole body relaxed and I think multiple things were happening there.

I was also relaxing into letting go of whatever mental grasping I was doing that I had to know what was gonna happen and direct the convo.

You know, I was remembering that you're gonna be a really fitting conversation partner and I get to relax.

My second line gets to relax.

Sandwiched in between your first line and your third line, I knew you were gonna make that face.

A salacious eyebrow raise for the listeners.

As soon as that sentence came to mind, I was like, yes, I will be going there.

But also it was just like, yeah, that felt so significant.

And then that shift that I experienced in my orientation to Mars felt like such a perfect microcosm of what the orientation to Mars is this year.

Mars is not a player.

This year.

Mars is A ruler, Mars in charge.

But there were also other things you pointed out about why it feels fitting to you to start with Mars.

And you scheduled this call.

I told everybody I was gonna relax into the oracle of 10 person scheduling.

And this is how it landed.

And I'm so glad it did.

But it did make me really nervous at first.

So whether consciously or unconsciously or both or all of the above, you knew that the moment that Mars was applying to Pluto on Mars Day, as the first call was the one that this one needed to be.

So, yeah, I would love to hear you just talk a little bit about why it makes so much sense to start this multidimensional, multi layered conversation about the cosmic context this year with a focus on Mars.

Yeah, and thank you for that intro.

And my answer to that question is also going to answer how I perceive Mars, obviously, because it's so inextricable.

And we talked about it before we pressed record, but as you were saying it, and I was just kind of in passivity, I remembered very clearly that I did look at my calendar because I have Honeycomb Almanac and it has all the transits.

So when I was looking at the link of what days were available, I went to my gauge and looked at my calendar.

I saw Tuesday Mars day.

And then I was like, oh, Mars, Pluto highlighted because it's my Time Lord, so all my Time Lord transits are highlighted.

And I was like, oh, perfect.

So, yeah, this is.

Mars.

I love how you languaged it.

Mars shifting from just kind of doing its own thing and now being a ruler of these enormous, gigantic shifts.

It's like, you know, Terence McKenna and all the great psychonauts, you know, say that if you're not nervous before you take a hero's dose of shrooms, that you are arrogant beyond belief.

You know, and that's kind of how I feel about Mars in general.

And I'll circle back to that in a moment.

But just to touch on Mars in the context of Saturn Neptune, this is taking a hero's dose of shrooms.

Like, you're gonna be nervous.

And the Saturn Neptune is the shrooms themselves.

The Mars is the taking of it.

So the Mars is the actual action of engaging with it.

And, man, one thing Mars knows how to do.

I always think of the glyphs, right?

So it's circle with an arrow just emerging out of it.

It's not just a line, it's an arrow.

So it's like it'll point and touch and poke and produce.

And it wants embodiment.

But not in the lunar kind of luxurious way that we can talk about embodiment, but in the Martian way, the way where you go to the gym three to five times a week and weight train and gradually increase your load and rip and tear your muscle so that you can be strong.

That kind of embodiment.

And so Mars is intense.

And Mars.

You know, when I told about Mars in world building school before I went into retirement, I was always a little nervous.

And I feel like people always kind of a little nervous engaging with it.

Because one, my lens of Mars is like very transmutational.

And I look at Mars as a master of alchemy.

Primarily Mars conjuncts Mercury, Pluto and Scorpio.

Yeah, for the real concepts.

Yeah.

You know, and I really can't imagine it any other way, but even just on a, a principal level of like natural law, Mars is when the water breaks and you give birth, you know.

So one of the things I taught in world building school was the night sect.

Moon, Venus, Mars as a sequence, not just as a team, not just as a group, but as a sequence of events.

So with Moon, we have conception, happens in the dark, right?

Deep, deep, deep, deep inside, very small Venus pregnancy.

And then Mars, the actual libra, the actual giving birth.

And that even in the most relaxed, even in the most holistic, grounded birthing process, there's no taking Mars out of it.

There just isn't.

There's bleed, there's blood, there's breaking, there's crying, there's all of this, you know, screaming, grunting, moaning, pushing, contracting.

There's really just no better fucking analogy for what 2026 is in terms of Saturn, Neptune moving into Aries, being ruled by Mars, the one who breaks the water, the one who actually gives birth.

We've been feeling the Braxton Hicks contractions for years.

This is also part of why people are processing more quickly.

Um, it's not just the weather right now, and it's not just the astrological shifts, but it's because the reps have been put in.

Like there's.

People have gained enough reps with certain things that at this point it's like, okay, we can just like, let's move to the part where we lock in because the muscle has been.

There's so many muscles that people have been strengthening for the last several years, you know, since the Saturn.

Saturn, Pluto, you know, and, and then obviously 2020.

So, yeah, I think starting with Mars honors the fact that what's on the table is not just about Saturn and Neptune and not even just about Uranus, but about this like Martian feat of giving birth to the next world, which you know, people have been talking about for years, but now, like, like actually.

And then like the actual mess of it and the actual, like if you didn't put the reps in, you're not going to be able to lift the 45.

And that's just the fact.

And you got to be relegated to something else, you know, and that harsh reality, you know, like the harsh reality of Saturn in Aries, as demonstrated by Mars, where it's like Mars the coach, the trainer, right, the athlete.

Mars doesn't give a fuck about your excuses or your justifications or your emotions.

You know, it's like that's all just like mind narrative over the body.

So let's get in the body and move.

Especially Saturn working under Mars's rulership doesn't give a fuck about those excuses.

That combination.

Yeah, exactly.

Right.

Yes, exactly.

So I think starting with Mars, it's not like random and it's not like weird.

It's not like, how does this fit?

It's actually.

No, Mars is the starting point.

Mars is the birthplace.

Mars is ultimately, because there's something interesting going on with Mars.

This year is not only that it rules Saturn, Neptune, but Mars has saturated some significant aspect with every single big shift that we have this year.

I mean, astrology is insane because that's not fucking coincidental.

Mars could have been retrograde.

Mars could have been in a different sign sequence and not quite matched up with certain ingresses.

It could have been a different way, but it's not.

Mars is touching every single important thing that's going on this year.

So Mars is the planet that is like bringing things from the outer atmospheric level of the outer planets and into like this world.

This plane.

This body.

These bodies.

Yes, exactly, exactly.

Real time application, you know, real time stakes and real time process, you know.

And so Mars is, is.

Yeah, I love how you framed it that like.

No, it has been true that Mars hasn't had a rulership position in quite some time.

Mars has not been in charge and now Mars is in charge.

Mars is actually in charge, you know.

A player and a ruler.

Really.

Because I hadn't noticed what you said.

I mean, I think I had noticed some that Mars is like around for a lot of major things.

But I didn't notice it to the extent that you just says, I just.

Went through the whole year before a call, which is not something that's not like, I'm not a like linear prepper like that.

But I was like, no, I want to see what's going on.

I just went week by week, every single month.

Kelsey, Mars is doing something major, you know, at a pivotal time.

Not something like, oh, inevitably it's going to come along and conjunct this.

It's like, it's.

It's natural.

Okay.

There's just, like, so much here.

You said astrology is insane.

I'm like, having that moment as well.

You are like, one of the only two or I think maybe three people that are going to be on this series that.

That I have not 2027 rift with.

Like, I know that's not.

You haven't really gotten deep into the 2027 stuff, which doesn't mean I won't be referencing it on this call.

So.

Sorry, but the way that you're talking about, like, the gravity of the birth of this moment, like, I love how you don't even.

Like, for me, the 2027 stuff is what shows me that in no uncertain terms and, like, validates that so clearly through every system in my body.

But I love how fucking clear you just made it through.

Touching in on the astrology too.

Yeah.

I was getting so many chills hearing that, because that's the first time I've heard an astrological, like a purely astrological take that feels as potent and significant as what I'm registering in my mind, in my body.

Thank you.

I don't mean to that way.

Yeah, I'm gonna take it as a huge compliment.

No, I think it's a compliment.

I think an innocent accidental confidence.

Because it's a.

It's informed.

Like the amount of gravity I'm able to put on Mars in this moment is informed by the way that I understand Mars, which I find to be rather, but not entirely uncommon among other astrologers.

And so having the perspective and the relationship that I do with Mars allows me to understand.

A few years ago, when I saw that we were having the Saturn Neptune thing, I understood from a different angle.

And I think it's usually talked about what that meant because of the way that I relate and engage with Mars and what they've taught me.

And so looking at Mars as the master of transmutation and alchemy.

Just a shorthand, and obviously we'll keep getting more into it, but if you look at Mars like that, then you really understand what's on the table when big planets shift into Martian territory.

I'm just checking a data thing real quick here.

Okay.

And when you look at Mars as, like, the moment of giving birth, like, the Actual like labor pushing out the baby, pushing out the placenta, like that whole process.

So that's like part of what I want to get into.

Okay, so one of the things that I did do when I was like in my mind mode of what does Mars have to show me?

And searching for it.

One of the things I found that didn't feel like it was meant to be the main arc of the convo, but that did stick with me and has kind of offered me some little insights here and there that I feel relevant to this is I investigated the synodic cycle a little bit more.

I investigated the last synodic cycle, Mars sun synodic cycle, this one that just started with the cazimi this month and the next one I'm like, I don't even know where to start because there's quite a bit here.

Okay.

We can think about the Mars sun synodic cycle, that cazimi moment as like the new moon energy.

Right.

The start of the next Mars cycle.

And these Mars cycles last two years and change like two years and two months.

Ish.

And.

We just restarted one.

And was it January 17th?

I think it was a little earlier than that.

Yeah, it was like ninth.

Ninth I believe.

I think it was at 17 degrees cap.

And that's why that number's in my head.

Sun conjunct.

Yeah.

It was also, you know, hard because it was such a long transit, like cazimi for a couple days.

Yeah.

January 9, 2026, at 19 degrees Capricorn.

Yeah.

And so just like a personal side note because it helps me ground into my experience.

The last cycle started November 17th.

That's where the 17 came from.

2023.

Oh, right.

Because that was in Scorpio.

Right?

In Scorpio, yeah.

And I found out I was pregnant six days after that.

So that whole last Mars synodic cycle was like, it was aligned with me being pregnant.

And then everything.

Oh, interesting.

And then this, this synodic cycle starts and two weeks later, she's not sleeping contact.

Yeah, but she wasn't sleeping contact.

The whole.

This has just been like a couple month issue.

The contact, napping.

So it's not as.

Oh, I see what you mean.

Yeah, yeah.

Anyway, sorry, go ahead.

That's okay.

Yeah.

So.

Okay.

One of the things that I was looking at when I was looking at the synodic cycle is we've just started one and along with like.

So we've just started one and it just happens so that this year that there is.

You mentioned this earlier.

No, retrograde.

And the retrograde happens when the sun gets all the way opposite Mars.

And that's where we have what we might.

If we're looking at it like a lunar cycle, what we might liken to the full Moon.

Moon.

So Mars spends like a year and a little change, or the sun spends a year and a little change waxing away from Mars and then waning back towards it.

And everything this year, everything in 2026 is the waxing energy of the Mars synodic sun cycle.

It started in Capricorn, it's currently in Aquarius.

Mars and the sun, they started together or.

No, Mars is still in cap.

Huh?

It's in the very.

It's about a degree away from Aquarius.

Oh, no, sorry.

Mars is an Aquarius.

Yeah.

I was like, wait, what day are we thinking?

Right?

That's right.

3, 3, 3 3.

Mars, Pluto, conjunction.

I just time travel for a moment.

You could.

Oh, I was thinking about.

I've been listening to Alakanon Diaz's rave New Year lecture.

And so I've had the chart for the rave New Year, which is like it was January 21st.

I've had that chart stuck in my head.

Cause that's like an imprint for the year, human design wise.

And Mars is at like 2856 cap in that chart.

So there's like an imprint of that Mars on the whole year of exalted Mars in the very late part of Capricorn anyways, that is informing me.

But that's not what I meant to say.

The piece that I keep coming back to right now or that I was thinking about listening to you talk about the birth piece and the birth of the new world, the birth of the next era.

And of course my 2027 alarms are going off is that I always think of the zodiac in these three trimesters.

So every time we move through the elements, it's a new trimester.

So Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer is trimester one, and then Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio is trimester two.

And Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces is trimester three.

So every time you come back to fire, you're in a new trimester.

And I've conceptualized the trimesters as like the third trimester is like the afterlife.

That's kind of how I think about it.

You get to the four signs in a row that are ruled by Jupiter and Saturn and you're kind of looking at things from the outside.

You enter the understanding, the assimilation phase, and then you do it all again.

Reincarnation begins again in Aries and So what that would mean is that reincarnation is bookended by the Mars signs, Aries and Scorpio.

We separate from one realm and enter the other in those signs.

And so what was coming up for me as you're talking about the birth and the 2027 wires are crossing.

I'm remembering that when I was looking at the synodic cycle for this new one that just started on January 9, got my date straight ish.

Now that Mars started the year in Capricorn, the Cazimi happened in Capricorn.

And it only gets to Virgo this year where it's starting to slow down before it will station, retrograde and spend its retrograde in Virgo and Leo.

And so I'm thinking about how Mars doesn't complete its cycle this year.

It's only waxing this year, momentum building, waxing towards fruition, and it doesn't even reach its other more matured home sign, its preferred sect domicile.

You and I have talked a lot about the distinction between Aries, Mars and Scorpio.

Mars as an Aries sun and Scorpio sun.

And yeah, Mars doesn't reach that point of maturation.

Mars doesn't leave this realm.

Mars will be born through the Cazimi and then again at the Aries ingress and ruling the major Aries conjunction of the year.

But Mars doesn't even reach that exit point in Scorpio.

It doesn't even reach its more maturized domicile home in Scorpio until 2027.

So yeah, there's just something for me with that, like the bookends of incarnation and like feeling into like the birth happens this year, but it's like it's unfinished this year.

This year is waxing, waxing, waxing towards the thing that finally maybe we begin to embody a little more holy.

We land more completely into the following year.

And yeah, just thinking about that retrograde that we're gonna have, and I think it starts in January, ends in April of 2027.

And I think actually the opposition of the sun from Mars happens within three or four days of the exact 2027 date.

I think it's February 19th.

And the 2027 global key change shift is February 15th.

Oh, interesting.

It's so early.

The culmination is right there.

And at the end of 2026, Mars is gonna be starting to slow down a little bit.

But for most of the year it's moving pretty quickly.

So yeah, just all the different ways of thinking about birth and life cycles were all kind of Stacked up for you just now?

Yeah, no, I love that the water broke this month, but the contractions will continue.

Indeterminate amount of time, you know, as it is in real life, except because it's.

We're looking at systems, we can kind of estimate that around these other times next year, you know, the.

The pushing begins and finishes, you know, on.

On a certain level.

There'S something else coming up for me that I don't have words for yet, but I feel like an energetic hit around it.

Maybe you will feel it too.

Maybe you'll have some words for it around that thing we were talking about earlier with like, we did.

So I brought it up as like the fast processing.

And then you came back around to it with like, we've either done these workouts or we've not.

Right.

And I'm thinking about Mars and Scorpio was the last cazimi.

You know, Scorpio being fixed water, the potential.

I always talk about.

You know, people talk about Scorpio as being this alchemical point and.

Yes.

But I like to offer also that Scorpio has the potential for that alchemy because it has the staying power to be with the stuff, but it also is fixed.

So there has to be the whatever, the X factor, the willingness, the movement, the awareness, the grace, the integration to actually move through it instead of just stay with the muk.

Like Scorpio on its own doesn't necessarily promise the alchemy, but it creates the conditions for the composting for the alchemy.

And so just for myself, I've been reflecting because that Mars Scorpio Cazimi was pregnancy for me.

And Scorpio is my 12th house.

And pregnancy, I think for many people and definitely for me was this crash course and surrender.

There was so much surrender, so much shadow work, so much alchemy that didn't originate in my experience of pregnancy.

But pregnancy was like a place where I really.

Pregnancy and the beginning of parenthood were like a place where it was like, for me, it was like, thank God I have exercised these surrender muscles.

Like, thank God that I have done what I have done to be able to be here now and be with what's here now and alchemize what's here now.

And so that had me wondering on a larger, more universal scale the significance of Mars in Scorpio being the last cazimi, the start, the imprint for the last Mars sun synodic cycle and then Mars in Capricorn now.

And it has me thinking about birth again, per what you've brought up and Capricorn being cardinal Earth and this next Mars cycle that we're now in, that we're freshly in, that we're waxing through all of 2026 being where that alchemy that happened on a more individual, eternal soul process plane, the birth that's now coming through is sextile to that two signs away in Capricorn on the movement on the Earth plane.

Movement on collective agreements.

Especially because it's Mars.

Such a personal planet in Capricorn, such a more globalized, collective oriented sign like each of us as individuals, locally in every sense of the word, locally carrying forward the new world in these physical ways, challenging the structures, creating new structures, creating new agreements, relationality.

All the things that come with Earth.

All the things that come with.

In my purview that third trimester Saturn ruled sign physicality.

Yeah, I'm not articulating what I'm feeling, but just the Capricorn Cazimi cycle, building on the Scorpio Cazimi cycle and all of the alchemical work that happened in the, the last two years and change showing up on the Earth plane.

Exactly.

On the cardinal Earth plane now.

Yeah, I love that.

I feel like that tracks for sure.

Especially when you zoom out a bit, you know, like it may not apply for everyone.

We are very Martian people, so it might be more peripheral.

But yeah, I love that the.

It's time for implementation and integration, you know, But I mean that in such a, you know, for, for HD.

I mean in such a 3420 way, you know, which is part of that 2027 shift where I'm just like, just being in the now.

Like, I don't mean like no sit in the corner and integrate, you know, or let's, let's do XYZ prescribed actions to implement.

No, I just mean like just be in the now.

And that's what Mars requires, you know, like that's what it's about is being in the now.

It's the exaltation of the sun.

Aries specifically.

This is where this fear holds.

The exaltation of the sun, which is about presence and about now ness.

And so that Martian power is what sustains it.

Even the exalted sun is ruled by Mars.

The sun is exalted when it's ruled by this ability to just keep cutting through the bullshit, keep cutting through the excess, keep cutting through even just a natural growth.

You know, if you want to like harvest something in a garden or in a field, you have to cut, you have to prune, you have to remove.

You know, it's just a part of the natural process.

It doesn't have to be harrowing.

It doesn't have to be loss.

It doesn't have to be unnecessarily violent, though, you know, obviously it often is.

But it's natural law that there's cutting and there's purification and there's removal and there's severance and to zoom out of the zodiac a little and just look at Mars on its own as this master of transmutation, alchemy.

It's like wherever Mars is, and that's important for this year because Mars will go through half the zodiac, essentially, from Capricorn to Virgo.

Wherever Mars is, it's doing alchemy.

It's doing transmutation with those tools.

Mars in Aries and Mars in Scorpio as its rulership, and then Mars in Capricorn.

Exaltation, obviously, has very, like, a lot to show us about what that means, what transmutation and alchemy mean and how they work.

But Mars is doing that no matter where it's at, just with the tools that it's given in that environment.

And I think that's the kind of all the way down bottom line that I'm looking at this year is that Mars, as it moves through from Capricorn to Virgo in 2026 in rulership of the Saturn Neptune conjunction, it's really bringing us to this bottom line of what needs to be severed and what needs to be repaired.

You know, surgery is very martial.

You know, removal of infection is very martial.

A lot of medical and medicinal things are actually very martial.

You know, like, a lot of, like, radical healing is extremely martial.

You know, if I want to, like, improve my lower lumbar injury, I have to, like, go to the chiropractor and get, like, you know, fucked up, and I have to go to the gym and get fucked up, and I have to do all these hard things in order to structurally improve my body.

And I feel like that's the bottom line of Mars is Mars is deeply, deeply medicinal.

A lot of what we consider alchemical processes, creative processes, change processes, have Martian significations, you know, but we're not.

We're often looking at, like, the more palatable planets when it comes to healing and repair.

And I think that makes sense because, you know, I personally know very few people who actually deeply, deeply engage in the art of alchemy on a, like, profound, not just theoretical level.

And this constant, like, dying and rebirthing, which, you know, if you pay close Attention.

Those are themes that Aries and Scorpio both share.

You know, like Aries through its relationship with the sun and this idea of like, dying and being born again.

And then Scorpio, obviously is probably its most popular modern signification.

Death, rebirth.

And so thank you for giving credit to my sign for also dying and being born again.

I do feel.

I do feel like people don't.

Yeah.

Mars separate.

The gravity of that.

Yeah, exactly.

And that's.

That's a perfect example of.

What I mean is that people don't fully understand Mars because if you fully understand Mars, you look at Aries very differently and you understand that Aries is also a transmutational machine.

I feel like I've always connected to that through.

And you've heard me say this before because you and I have connected a lot on the Aries.

Pisces overlap.

What's there in ways that we both.

Yeah, really feel into that.

Anyways.

Yeah.

I always say in defense of Aries as an Aries would be that Aries, better than any other sign, remembers the full integrated lessons of Pisces.

So all of that commitment to the void space and the oneness, all of that is right there.

The ultimate alchemy of the void.

That's a beautiful way to understand, like the exaltation there.

It's the circle, the dot in the center.

Exactly, exactly.

Aries goes.

Okay, and.

Right.

It's like next.

Yeah, it's.

And I want to say, get a little more specific and precise with what I mean about transmutation and alchemy.

And these words I keep repeating, you know, they hold their potency even without explanation because that's the magic of language.

But part of what the difference between transmutation and transformation.

Transformation, a form kind of like evolves and adds to its form.

Right.

So there's still some component of the original form in it.

With transmutation, the original form itself, itself is shifted.

It literally mutates into something else.

So one of the most popular examples of this is lead into gold.

Lead is lead, gold is gold.

They are not the same thing, but one can become the other.

And it's an irreversible.

It's an irreversible process.

That's how like hardcore Mars is.

So I don't often use the word transformation for Mars.

I use the word transmutation.

Mars is mutative.

Every time you swap realms, you switch realms from the afterlife into the incarnation or from incarnation back into the void space.

At the bookends of Aries and Scorpio, that Is.

What is the term you use?

Can't be undone.

What is the word?

Reversible.

Irreversible.

That's irreversible.

Like soul is changed.

Karma is changed through that process.

Through.

There's.

When something is severed, it creates something, right?

So you get sliced on your skin, it creates a scar, right?

The deeper the cut, the more permanent the scar, you know, so we have levels of permanency when it comes to injury, psychologically, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

You know, there are some wounds that can absolutely be closed up and seem almost as if nothing was there, emotionally and physically.

There are some wounds that.

That will show scar emotionally and physically and psychologically, right?

So this natural law, like, literally think of your physical body as Mars.

Think of all the process that your physical body is composed of.

Think very closely, like on a literal, the most boring, mundane, like, factual level about how healing processes work in the body, in every category, Digestive skin, all of it.

And you will understand Mars because that process of, like, everything involves severing or involves mutation, involves heat or the lack of heat.

You know, in traditional Chinese medicine, they're like, you don't have all these XYZ issues you think you have.

You just have dampness, you don't have enough heat, right?

Or you don't think you have all these X Y issues that you think you have.

You just have excess of heat and you need cooling.

It's about temperature.

And this is like the mutation of Mars, you know, feeling very third color, right?

For the hd.

It's like, it's.

That's what I mean by alchemy.

I'm not like, alchemy is like some abstract concept of spiritual transcendence and enlightenment that allows you.

I mean, like, literally, you physically fucking change when you go through shit, you know, And I.

Not by shit, I just.

I don't mean trauma.

I mean anything.

Like, incarnation changes you.

The experiences that you have changes you.

This fucking year will change you, will change the world, and it will be irreversible, right?

And that's.

That's what I mean by transmutation is literally it will be unrecognizable from its former form.

You know, you look at a dragonfly, Dragonfly is a great example of transformation.

And you know, that dragonfly was once a larva or whatever the fuck it was, you know, like.

And there's a lot of other creatures like that where, you know, like, oh, this was once something else.

Like, oh, that makes sense.

I could see how this larva would extend into a body and grow Wings, Right?

Lead into gold.

It's not.

You don't look at lead and like, that makes sense to me that it's gold, you know, or that it could be gold.

And so transmutation and then alchemy, which is like a little more complex, because alchemy is the process of transmutation.

It's the.

It's an art in and of itself.

How you alchemize and what you alchemize depend on the components that are involved.

And so this is where you got to get your hands dirty.

But one example that I like to make it really concrete is in nature, the medicine often grows next to the poison, or the venom is the antidote.

We hear that that's another phrase, right?

This applies spiritually as well, esoterically as well.

The venom is the antidote.

In love, adulthood, I taught about it as like, the medicine is in the wound.

Without the wound, there is no medicine.

So one concrete example is poison ivy.

In an undisturbed ecosystem, wherever there's poison ivy, there will be jewelweed.

Jewel weed is this like pretty little orange, sometimes yellow bell flower that is the most powerful solvent to being infected by poison ivy that there is.

And a lot of people don't know this because we are so anti weed that people are always shaving down everything.

And then the poison ivy can still grow on its own without its antidote.

But if you are in undisturbed ecosystems and you see these orange bell flowers, if you look up jewel weed right now, you'll see what I mean.

If you see that, you know automatically there's poison ivy nearby.

It never grows without there being poison ivy nearby.

And this is kind of how I look at Mars.

Like how Mars moves through the world is like every sever.

You know, Mars is a sever.

Mars is also the stitches.

I'm also hearing like I'm just have chills from this jewelweed metaphor.

I did not know that.

And I'm hearing you can have the poison without the antidote, but you can't have the antidote without the poison.

Exactly.

There's this thread that was coming up for me this morning that feels somehow connected to this.

I have been thinking a lot about the part of Mars that is like the protector.

And I've been thinking about here's maybe a difference between how Mars shows up in its day sect sign versus its night sect sign.

And the thing that makes Mars in charge this year is the Aries happenings.

Right.

So we're getting more of an Aries Mars as ruler this year than a Scorpio one and I'm thinking about.

I've been reflecting a lot on my own relationship to vulnerability and authenticity.

And maybe don't need to get too into my personal stuff with that, but because that's been kind of a setting for me lately, just like, looking at my relationship to authenticity and vulnerability and becoming more clear on how I maybe take for granted that that's not everybody's relationship to vulnerability and authenticity.

And just like, I think maybe that's a. I've been talking a lot about how I'm learning a lot about personal distraction lately.

And that feels related, like kind of assuming, misprojecting, that the way that I experience reality is also how everybody experiences reality.

Anyways, I've been thinking about protection and vulnerability, and I do see a lot of my radical honesty in the moment.

That doesn't feel much like a choice of mine.

It just feels like an innateness, like I can't help it, like I couldn't if I tried.

I've been just watching that from a little bit more of an outside perspective, taking it less for granted, understanding it more within the context of the whole.

And I've been thinking about how we shy away, or it can be a common experience to shy away from vulnerability as a means of protection, but how actually vulnerability and this kind of radical honesty with who you are, where you are right now is a form of protection because it puts you in a position to be able to move through the alchemical, transmutational process.

And when you're able to do that, when you're practiced in that, when you're comfortable in that, you're protected, you're powerful.

You'Re never more vulnerable than when you're attempting to be invulnerable because you only ever strengthen what you're positioning yourself in opposition to.

And I'll be explicit here and say that applies politically as well.

And in every, every reality that we are fighting, resisting, opposing with this kind of, like, reactivity, right?

This kind of the immature version of mar.

We're just reinforcing.

Because what we're essentially saying is this is real, this is real, this is real, this is real.

And when you stop doing that on the collective or on the personal level and you embrace the vulnerability of not being in control, of not having this, like, unlimited power and influence when there is nothing that anyone can truly take from you, right, all, all this, all this political, like, bullshit is based on the premise that there are things that some people can take from other people, right?

That there, there's a Vulnerability that must be defended against.

And so when that's no longer the game, when there's no vulnerability to defend against, but instead vulnerability is relaxed into the friction ends, and true power emerges.

I think this is, like, what we're talking about right now feels like a political slash collective consciousness evolution.

Yeah.

Version of how I have really distilled in my body and my awareness what it is to be Aries as like Aries as what comes from Pisces.

Which is to say, I've thought about this a lot also as how I understand my self as a being with a defined ego.

And specifically my ego being defined in part through the 2551 and the flavor of that channel, which 25 is the gate in the rave mandala that straddles Aries and Pisces.

It's the Aries Pisces cusp.

And this sensation that Aries has that's like, I know so well that I am part of the sacred One, that it is just obvious to me, I don't even have to think about it, that my fragment of the One is also that.

And it's this, like, inherent sense of worth.

So, you know, as a young Aries, as a young 52 manifestor, like, meeting the world with my defined ego and my closed aura and this projection fog around me, not understanding why, like, that just innate sense of worth, activated people.

That's where so much of my wound comes from.

But I literally couldn't understand it.

Like, it's taken so much of my life to understand that that inherent sense of worth that comes from having three planets in the first decan of Aries, you know, is not universal.

It's not.

I mean, it is universal on some level, but it's not the gravity of everyone's experience.

The way it just unconsciously is mine.

Because the sun can't see itself.

It can only see what it illuminates and the shadows that it causes.

And I love how you're.

I love that you're bringing this in.

And it takes me back to like, which I know for many people will be one of the, like, first things that maybe they learned.

It's probably changed now, but back in my day, one of the first things you learned was these, like, phrases, these mottos that went with each zodiac sign, Right?

I am and I am.

I just am.

I am not.

I think I am not.

Maybe I am just I am.

And I love that you're talking about.

This just, like, this being the existential I am.

Yeah.

The being of the self and how that how that made people feel.

And I'm like, yeah, that's exactly, that's exactly it.

That's how like white supremacy feels about everyone who won't comply to it or who is not subscribed to it, who does not belong to it, is like threatened by the existence of other sovereignty.

Right.

Because white supremacy is like the superficial posturing of sovereignty.

It involves, like, requires oppression to feel superior and to feel sovereign.

Whereas real sovereignty is completely as you're describing in a very like personal, real time sense, is in, is indescribable, is in like innate, is untouchable.

It brings an untouchability to it.

Because to tie it back to the vulnerability piece, like when you're there, when you're in that place, vulnerability is not a threat.

Because.

And here's where I was starting to see the connection to like this moment of political evolution, this moment of consciousness evolution.

It's like.

I can't go there, or I don't want to go there without bringing in gate 55, which you brought in actually when you brought up the Dragonfly.

Have you fucked at all with the gene key?

55?

I don't think so.

In your time?

No.

So 55 is one of the eight new keys as part of the cross of the Sleeping Phoenix, along with the 3420.

And it's the new way.

Each era has eight keys or eight locks.

Every era has eight locks.

And then every era new keys come in to fit into those locks.

I remember you telling me about that.

Yeah.

There's like eight constructs in the old reality, eight constructs in the new one coming in this new world that Mars is birthing this year.

And 37 is the family or friendship.

And it's part of the channel of community.

It's why everybody talks about the bargain breaking down with the cross of planning.

It's cause the 3740 was the way in the temple in the old era.

And in the new one, the way is 55.

And I won't get too into it right now, but I will say 55 is a Pisces gate.

It's in the solar plexus, it's the gate of the spirit.

And I, through my 2027 deep dives this year or last year, in 2025, I have come to understand the distillation of 55 and what it's about as being self reflective consciousness or passenger consciousness is another way to put it, which is in my understanding this idea.

This is how I understand reality and this dimension and how it connects to the other dimensions is that we are here consciousness fragments so that it can experience itself.

Right.

Self reflected consciousness, passenger consciousness.

And this is the way like this is the point of the next period of human evolution.

It's no longer about everything.

Cross of planning was about which if we look at the way specifically it was about 37 the family, friendship, community bargains.

Now it's about individual.

It's about individual awakening through experience of it all.

And so like the connection I'm seeing is this innate sense as an Aries, this innate sense of worth.

Like yeah, I was just in the eternal One, now I'm in the eternal singularity.

And it's.

It is that like that knowingness is what we're moving into in this next era of individuality where we understand it that all of this too is God.

All of this too is something that not only can be and not even needs to be, but will be alchemized, will be transmutated.

And I think this other piece that we've come to of like I've really been feeling into this as the closing chapter of Uranus in Taurus as well and preparing us for what's to come with Uranus in Gemini of like.

Like we have built in our bodies, some of us and I don't know how to talk about that part.

That part throws me the sum of us.

So zip that up, maybe we'll come back.

But we've built into our bodies the muscle memory now of physically moving through the thing and finding freedom, finding liberation through the physical process of nervous system work to put it shortly.

Right.

Like we've learned to find liberation through tending to the state of the body.

And yeah, I'm really seeing this as I'm sure this is Mars as well.

And especially the way you're really bringing in transmutation as a primary or the primary perhaps prerogative of Mars.

But I've really been feeling the last couple days into when Uranus goes into Gemini.

And like I've been feeling into what allowed us what it's the right words.

But the access to liberation and freedom came through the tending to the body, the fixed Earth, through the being with and staying with form, which nervous system awareness and work was a big part of that.

And now we're moving.

Uranus is going to move this year from fixed Earth, the most fixed sign, the least mutable sign, into Gemini, mutable air, the least fixed sign, the most mutable sign.

And how the freedom in this next Uranian era I think perhaps may come from our ability actually to not stay with it, which feels like 3420 and the 57 and the freedom to be able to transmutate, to be able to move, to be able to quickly move from one thing to the next.

But that based on this work that has happened with Saturn in the Saturn signs, with Saturn in Pisces, with Uranus in Taurus, with tending to fixed Earth with tending to the body and finding liberation through the body is what sets us up to be able to actually find freedom through the Gemini, freedom through the chaos, freedom through the flightiness from one thing to the next.

So, yeah, just seeing like you're showing me a different orientation through Mars in charge to this other thing I've been really feeling into with like, no, the whole point the way is to be with it, accept it, move it through your system, alchemize it, trust that it's God too.

All of this is part of it.

All of it is God.

None of it is beyond what humanity as a whole or what any one of us individually, I want to say, like, should, can, must face.

But it's also like we can just use more neutral language.

Is facing it is happening.

And so, yeah, so Aries.

Yeah, I love that because, you know, you're kind of speaking to how Aries comes before Gemini and you're speaking to another huge part of this year, which is that Saturn, Uranus will be in sextile because Aries and Gemini are a natural sextile.

And so that will be a big theme for the year as well.

By sign, I didn't look at if that's exact because I only looked at Mars exact aspects before this.

But it's funny that you bring that in because earlier I was going to say something about the difference between Mercury and Mars and I didn't.

But it makes me think about how people, when they're thinking about nervous system repair or healing or magic or really any kind of alchemy, I'll just use that word.

They're often thinking of like the magician.

Let's bring in a tarot card.

Like they're thinking of Mercury.

I am the human.

I'm using all my tools.

Mars comes before that, though, you know, in the zodiacal sequence.

And it's a lot more primal, actually.

You know, there's a transformation that happens before you step up to the altar where all the tools are sitting.

And it's the choice, it's a decision on a deep internal, primal, primordial level to change.

You know, it's the.

That.

That's the moment of initiation moment.

Of initiation isn't when you go learn how to use the tool.

No, you had to be initiated first to be able to even see that the tool is there and to touch it and to learn how to use it.

And so that's what this Aries Gemini sets out, which is so important this year.

That's what I'm thinking of as you're talking to them like, oh, yeah, Uranus and Gemini offers all these opportunities, but my God, will it do nothing but create chaos and madness if we don't have some mastery with Mars, if we're not able to actually move energy from one state into another?

That's what alchemy is.

That's what transmutation is.

That's what healing is.

That's what working out is.

That's what even the most mundane significations of ours, moving energy from one state into another.

When that happens prior to engaging with the Uranus in Gemini, then Uranus in Gemini becomes opportunity for everything that you name, which is like, all right, let's accelerate, let's go, let's move.

Let's not sit with it.

But the power to not sit with it doesn't simply come from the shift from Taurus to Gemini.

It comes from the Aries decision to engage with the now and to be an active participant in the.

The.

The mutational processes happening within you, as you know, Terence McKenna calls it.

And I'm sure people have heard me say this, a million, some people, a small group of people have heard me say this so much.

But the primacy of direct experience is what he called essentially the now.

And that's Mars.

Mars is the primacy, the primary, the primacy of direct experience.

And this is what I'm hearing about, you say about the 55, you know, like, and this is where we are, this is what's going on.

And so that, that is the, the imperative, the call to action, to circle back to what I was saying before, because it requires, to use another Mars word, audacity.

You know, Aries is very audacious, and it requires audacity to sever, to leave the past behind.

You know, so much enmeshment, so much attachment to the past that it creates a stagnation, right?

And the blocking and the kind of like.

Yeah, when it's like, well, when it's time to move forward, it's time to move forward.

And that requires a different kind of skill set.

And something interesting that happens in the middle of this year, roughly speaking, happens in July, is that Mars conjuncts Uranus in Gemini.

Yeah, I was going to ask you about that.

What were you going to ask?

I feel like in the US for folks who are tapped into forecasty type of looks at astrology this year, that's a big moment, right?

The Mars Gemini conjunction I think the 4th of July and also literally the 4th of ridiculous.

I heard it a couple times, I.

Was like, right, once again, astrology insane.

But also the whole co presence of it is like recurrence transit for the US Civil War talk, et cetera, et cetera.

So yeah, one of the things I was kind of curious to ask you about is this feels with this shift of the primacy.

I think I talk about that a lot like the locality, the proximity.

My greatest agency and power lies in my relationship to my own power, my relationship to the now.

And that feels similar to what you were talking about with Mercury.

Without the Mars will, without the Mars agency, without the Mars initiation is just chaos.

Right.

So feeling into that, that feels like this, that feels like the importance of this.

Yeah, I know you're on a thread right now, but I have to interrupt you because this just hit me in the third eye.

I was like, I just that the way that you said that made me realize like I was having this conversation with my mom about this kind of like the natural process of individuation.

I think individuation is a big word this year.

And I was talking about individuation isn't individualism.

You know.

And people often kind of like push away the natural, literally natural law processes of individuation on a psychological, emotional and spiritual level because they think it means individualism.

And they don't want that because they're anti, you know, anti that.

So they position themselves in opposition to it.

So then that's the only thing that's real.

And then the actual processes of individuation get neglected, which are so important.

This is Mars.

You get born.

You're outside of your mother now.

You're not inside your mom anymore.

You're outside of your mother, you're individuated.

And then individuation also needs to happen psychologically, right?

And developmentally and all these other ways.

And then there's spiritual and cultural individuation.

Can you stop existing only in the confines of the cultural aircraft that's been constructed for you by the spiritual principles of other people?

You know, so there's all these kinds of levels of individuation, Mars, that ultimately have to do with sovereignty, which is the sun.

So we see Mars' or we see the Sun's exaltation there again as well, and the kind of spiritual science behind it.

In that context, talking to my mom about, you know, what's.

What's more important, like creating these.

These.

That wasn't the explicit question, but just a shorthanded.

Creating these new ways of connecting because of how community and communal formats have kind of faded out and are kind of deconstructing themselves or empowering the individual sense of agency.

And we're kind of like positioning these as like slightly ajar from each other in the conversation.

And at some point she says something and you know, well, she's like, well, people's beliefs have to change, like the way they think have to change.

And I was like, oh, I'm so glad you said that, because that's exactly what I mean, you know.

So she was kind of looking at the things, Mars and Gemini of a very, like, mercurial level of like, well, they think this and this idea and this thought, you know, those things, the kind of ideological concepts.

And I was like, the ideological context cannot shift until the individual's spiritual and psychological context shifts.

You can present someone with all the tools and all the opportunities and even all the community in the world, but if their personal sense of agency is underdeveloped, they will not have the willpower.

They sense the instinct to take advantage if they haven't fully individuated from the way that they think they were told that things should be and that things are.

They will be unable to move forward no matter how much words you spew at them, no matter how much connection, no matter how many tools they have to on this deep primordial.

Like, I've been really thinking about it as like, this is for me, the year of the Ape.

I'm just like, we are fucking apes and we keep forgetting that, but we are.

And things need to come from this, like, deep, deep, primal part of us that's just like.

Like, this is what I need to do now, you know, or this is who I am.

And that's where all momentum emerges from.

And so all these ideological shifts that we have on the menu this year with Uranus and Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius don't mean shit without people engaging in this Martian process, you know.

And I think Mars, Uranus conjunct in July.

One of the ways that we could look at it is on some kind of scale, you know, unbelievable.

Unbeknownst to us at this moment, but soon to be revealed, people on the individual, right, Mars is an inner planet on the individual level, are going to have to confront the limitations of ideology from every single angle.

I'm not talking binary, I'm not talking left, right, black, white.

And I mean those literally end, you know, socially, metaphorically, but literally any kind of ideology, any angle of ideology cannot be your authority.

And it has its limitations.

And it is not enough to create actual change.

And that, you know, this is what we experience the consequences of all the time.

This is what we're experiencing the consequences of right now.

I don't normally like to use we when I talk about America, but I'm going to use it to talk about the world.

We're experiencing the consequences all over.

Where people have new ideas and they have new perspectives and they have new insight and new tools.

They have the whole world in their fucking hands through their cell phones.

And yet why are the same symptoms occurring?

Why are the same situations occurring?

Failure, right.

Failure to sever, failure to integrate, right.

Failure to individuate.

Right.

And that can't be constructed by people outside of yourself.

You have to be your ultimate author.

Authority.

You have to be your ultimate authority.

Because no one, I can't tell you.

Hey Kelsey, here in this area you seem, you know, un individuated and that's going to cause you problems and you'll hear me and you might even be like, oh, I see what you're saying.

But until you personally come to some kind of, let's just call it divine realization because it's in no one's control, not even your own, you know, it won't mean anything.

And this is why I think Mars is the bottom line of this year.

And we have.

So it's just like bam, bam.

Mars is touching everything.

Next month we have the final Mars Uranus in Taurus Square where Mars in Aquarius will square Uranus in Taurus for the last time.

And that's expected to be quite significant.

And then March we have Mars trine Jupiter exalted shortly before Jupiter leaves it's exaltation.

In April we have Mars in Aries.

And that's gonna be a big fucking deal.

Cause we got Mars conjunct Neptune.

Mars conjunct Saturn.

I know I'm reading a lot of things, but the point is that literally every month Mars is touching some bigger cycle that's happening.

Yeah, May we have another Mars Pluto square.

In July we have Mars Uranus, we have Mars trine Pluto In August we have Mars enters fall.

In September we have Mars Saturn square.

And Mars south node Jupiter I think in September as well.

In October Mars Pluto opposition.

November Mars conjunct Jupiter in Leo.

Mars enters shadow.

Yeah, so Mars has its hands all over everything this year.

Which is to say that the individual's sense of agency is a key component to how in your own personal sphere, things develop.

I.

Okay, let me say three things.

Maybe I won't get to all of them, but I wanna say them all.

Cause they were all really spicing themselves up over this last stretch.

One is, I was revisiting the Mars glyph.

Two is Mars or Chiron in Aries.

And the completion of that transit overlapping with this birth process of 2026 and 2027.

And what was three Mars glyph, Chiron and Aries.

That's why I wanted to say all three.

But the third one's already gone.

The Mars glyph and the Chiron and Aries thing were sort of the same thought.

I also often check in with the glyphs when I'm trying to focus on the distillation of a planet.

And Mars is the circle of spirit, the arrow of action.

And I've always thought about it as what is moving your spirit into action, what moves your individual spirit into action?

Individuation.

Right.

But in hearing you talk just now, I was coming back to this, like Aries as the moment after the void of the all of Pisces and also Scorpio on the other side of it, the edge of individual incarnation.

And I was seeing the arrow of action now literally physically moving away from the circle of spirit.

So yes, on one hand it's what's moving your individual spirit into action, but it's also moving away from the circle of the one and the individuation.

And I've been talking about Chiron in Aries for years.

Chiron's been in Aries for years.

And I was deeply initiated by Chiron in Aries right around when I became connected to you.

And I was going through some pretty challenging initiations when Chiron was on my sun and on my first deck in Aries stellium.

And through that process, through that transmutation of mine, I started to feel into Chiron and Aries.

And watching what I've often referred to as the co dependency clearing that's been happening, I've referred to this Chiron in Aries assignment, which is like a seven year transit that we're coming up to a close on.

We get the first egress of Chiron out of Aries into Taurus this year for a few months and then the final one next year in 2020, 27.

My phrase for Chiron and Aries has been, where have you been abandoning yourself for fear of being abandoned by the other?

And it's been this period of just really dealing with the wound of separation, dealing with that on this plane, in these bodies, in this life, we are as individuals removed from the circle of spirit and the pain of that.

And, you know, the zodiac was, I think, one of, if not my first teacher in how all of the parts of the whole, regardless of their relationship with one another, are all imperative, sacred parts of the whole.

Right.

And so that was such an important thing for my consciousness to see.

And I have relaxed exponentially since meeting the zodiac because I can see how in my embracing each of my parts, including the separateness of me, I am also embracing the whole.

I am embracing the.

All of it.

And so, yeah, I'm just seeing this thread of, like, Chiron.

Yeah, Chiron.

This year, Mars, while it becomes in charge of a lot, is handing off rulership, beginning the handoff of rulership of Chiron from itself, Mars to Venus.

And I feel like I have been in a deep process with.

And I have seen a lot of people in a deep process with, beginning to be comfortable with and starting to really see what can happen when we acknowledge where we've been abandoning ourself for fear of being abandoned by the other.

And we trust that love and connection and recognition and wholeness is available to us even as we lean into any particular part of us, any particular fragment.

And this feels so connected to, like, there's so much of.

Like, the 55 is opposite the 59, which is one of the new keys too.

And the 59 is intimacy, sexuality, dispersion.

And it's like penetrating to the other in the now.

It's, like, connected to all this 34, 20, 57 key stuff with the sleeping phoenix.

And the cross of penetration is the other cross.

Okay, hold on.

Let me come back.

The potential that we have to experience true connection, wholeness, love through relationship through the other.

Once we have addressed and transmutated our fear of leaning so fully into the primacy of the now, into the primacy of me and the now, it's not even a.

It's not even like the potential increases.

It's like that is where the beginning of real connection lives.

You have to embrace the aloneness, you know, and, like, again, I'm hearing the sun's exaltation in the sphere of Aries and this Martian sphere.

We have to embrace the.

The aloneness, you know, the baby has to come out of the womb to be held by the mother, you know, to have that connection the baby has to individuate in the first place, you know, to, to experience the pleasures of incarnation.

And so yeah, I'm, I'm hearing that like the fear of engaging with the primacy of your direct experience with, with your own authority and individuating from any external authorities.

Yeah, yeah, you know, I'm sure that'll come up more when you kiss the Saturn, but that's like, I'm glad you're naming that because I'm like, yeah, that's why people repress Mars.

That's exactly why they.

And I think like, I don't know if this is subjective and more just like in my sphere this has been happening, but I have seen an evolution, an acceleration through the evolutionary process with these themes per relationality and community.

And I feel like a lot of what you're talking about and inviting specifically how I'm looking at it in the context of the national stage, the international stage and even wider collective consciousness is like the Mars in Capricorn.

Cazimi.

Right.

Being the seed for this year and for Mars over the next two plus years, which remind me, I need to say something about the next Mars.

Cazimi too is taking this practice that many of us have had in the relational sphere, like can I still be loved, can I still belong if I'm honest with myself primarily and then others about who I am, where I am, what's here now?

Will I still get to belong?

Will I still feel a belonging to the whole?

And I'm wondering about this year being a time when that practice, that initiation will extend onto the stage of Capricorn.

How we are living physically on this Earth and our responsibility to each other, to the world, to outer authority, to government, to state.

Are we willing to abandon, are we willing to abandon this world that has been built together, this, this, this the tapestry of which so many parts of us on an ego mind level have belonged to and been ruled by, have been complicit in.

Are we willing to abandon that?

Not just to abandon this relationship or my codependency patterns in this stage and this stage.

What about our codependency with the, the state?

What about our codependency with external reality?

Yeah, exactly, exactly, exactly.

Reckless abandon.

Very Martian.

Oh yeah.

The thing I was going to ask you is like as a Leo rising, ruled by the sun, conjunct Mercury, it's co. Festive.

Is that right?

No, co present.

Yeah.

Like what, what's a reorientation coming back to individuation, coming back to primacy, coming back to locality, individual agency, what, how to calibrate that, how to constantly reattune, how do we reattune to that?

How do we remember that in the face of Mercury's madness this year in the face of the Mars Uranus co presence in Gemini potentially it might be very easy to dissociate into what's going to unfold on the collective stage.

And I think part of what I was trying to thread through this conversation or found myself threading through and part of my intention for this whole series is the passenger consciousness piece.

We need to witness, digest and integrate everything we experience as individual beings this year and beyond.

And again, need doesn't even feel like the right language.

Like we are going to.

Like that is what happens now and hopefully you've been going to the gym.

But like how, like, do you have any words for that?

Do you have any sentiments to that?

For that?

Do you have any calibrations for that?

Like how to come back to me, how to come back to my primacy, my locality, my agency, my personal experience of self reflected consciousness, when it might be.

I don't even want to say easier, but just the compulsion maybe to feel powerless in the face of outer authority, in the face of chaos unfolding in collective reality.

Because I see like, I see myself as someone who's practiced in that and like committed to that and devoted to that and initiated into that.

And I also see you as someone who is very much all of those things I said as well.

But I also see you as someone who has, yeah, just a capacity to bring people into that with your language and with.

Yeah, just your tools.

I feel for me, I don't know, I feel maybe this is like a second line versus first and third line thing.

I don't know.

I feel like I don't know how to explain that.

And that's.

That feels connected to what I was talking about with like my innateness and Aries and personal distraction and like, like you guys aren't also having this experience where you're just evolving through everything.

I don't get it.

Like my impatience.

So yeah, I just, I, I want to know what you would have to say on that because you.

That's what you've been teaching for years.

Yeah, well, thank you.

Yes, yes, I did spend quite a bit of time as the prophet, you know, going through the streets, trying to prepare people unintentionally.

That's not at all how I was thinking of it at the time.

Only in Retrospect.

Do I see it that way?

But yeah, I.

There's one phrase that comes to mind, which is slow down to speed up.

The only way compulsion can be interrupted is to create enough containment, create enough boundary with yourself on an energetic psychic level that you can slow down.

So when it comes to Mars, this still applies.

Mars isn't speed up to speed up.

It's still slow down, speed up, get your bearings.

And so I think hygiene, like energetic hygiene is just the most mundane, boring, practical, easy way to make sure that you are as squeaky clean and clear as possible.

And that's what slowing down does.

It's like, oh, wait, let me clean all all this external shit out, you know, Let me take this salt bath.

You know, like tending to the physical vessel.

Again, Mars is so primal, so primordial.

It's so ape.

So tending to your ape self, remembering you're an ape and being like, I'm just an ape.

So, like, what would an ape do?

Scream or I'm gonna go do that, you know, like, that's what I'm gonna do.

So that's one.

That's like the practical thing that came to mind.

It's just like slow down to speed up and a lot of that slowing down.

Let it be hygiene.

You know, you don't need new practices.

You don't need this, that the other just have you.

You don't.

You literally don't need anything outside of your body in this moment.

And what's here in your body in this moment, right?

Like, have you imagined a grounding cord down to the core of the earth?

Very simple, you know, very hygienic.

Have you actually gone outside?

You know, like, that's another thing.

So just.

Yeah, Mars is.

Mars is incredibly potent and also very simple.

You know, it's like, well, yeah, you know, go in the kitchen, chop some shit up, make a soup, you know, like, do some actual physical alchemy or go for a walk or those kinds of things.

But enough about that.

Those are kind of, yeah, practical.

Those will be necessary.

Those practical tips will be necessary.

But it leads me into, you know, the, the, the deeper answer to that question, which is, I don't know what to tell you.

You gotta go figure it out.

You want me to sit here, external authority, and tell you how to reorient back to yourself when you find compulsion to give your power away on an.

On a psychic level.

I, I just gave you a bunch of tips and ideas.

You're probably going to forget them by the time you're done listening to this podcast and then still flounder in the moment because you ult ultimately have to decide that you're going to be self disciplined enough to be like, I want to interrupt this compulsion.

So when you're with compulsion, when you are feel the urge to act, how you interrupt compulsion is not to.

And to then sit in the discomfort.

To just tolerate the discomfort of like I really wanted to.

Oh, I really wanted to just react, but I'm not going to.

Right.

I really wanted to like read the news and then freak out and feel like everything's going to.

But you know, I'm actually not gonna do that.

Like that's a level of internal discipline that like it can't be.

It can't be by anyone else and it can't be conjured by me telling you do xyz.

You know, like, containment is a personal decision.

And.

And this is where your inner authority really comes into play is like, yeah, every person need to confront their own ability to interrupt their own cycles.

I'm hearing that as like go fucking find yourself.

But then coming back to like the proximity and the locality of the now, I'm hearing it as like, go fucking find yourself in every single moment.

In every moment, find yourself.

And this came up in the conversation with Amalia that will have preceded this one as well.

Of like, when you meet like this, this Aquarius Stellium, this Pluto in Aquarius era, when you meet everything you're going to meet this year in the collective reality, in the external world, meet it as yourself.

What is there for you when you meet that?

What is that bringing up in you when you meet that.

That we could dissociate to what it means about the collective.

Trust your body to know what is for you, to metabolize, what piece is for you, what depth is for you, your body knows.

And this is why I'm just like, for me, that was human design.

Like, human design showed me how to trust that.

That map showed me how to trust that.

Like, it's gonna be a big detox for a lot of people because.

Because there's been a lot of conditioning the last decade and.

And so that we all need to be metabolizing all the same things at all the same time.

Yeah, that feels like the end.

I'd love to share something real quick.

It's just a quick quote to close.

So let me slip in this other observation real quick.

So the Saturn Neptune conjunction happens at 0 degrees, 45 minutes of Aries before the first degree of Aries.

The next Mars cazimi that follows this 19° Capricorn Mars Cazimi, that's the seed for this year is gonna happen at 1° 0/00 Aries.

So that's crazy.

Don't know what the fuck about that.

But yeah, that's like this, like, okay.

We started on the zero, now we're gonna start on the one, the act.

And like the actual.

And that happens in March of 2028.

And so just yeah, looking also at.

How this, all that makes so much sense because like, such a level of initiation happening with Saturn, Neptune conjunct at zero this year.

And that takes time, you know?

Like, I know I've been talking a lot about integration, but I'm not like.

And then tomorrow wake up and be.

No, I mean, like in two years when Mars is cazimi at 1 degrees Aries, you'll be done, you'll be there.

Yeah, we'll be a year into 2027.

We'll be on the other side of the Mars Uranus.

Yeah.

And then you can get started, you know, like, it's that kind of thing, you know, the baby don't start walking when it come out the womb, you know.

So we're in labor right now.

The baby gonna come out at some point, but ain't gonna start.

Well, it's about almost two years old.

It'll really have a sense of its.

Like a real sense of its feet.

Maybe could even start running, you know.

Yeah.

But it'd be wobbly.
