Speaker:

Today's tip comes from RSPA and PPA Certified Pickleball Pro, Jim Corella.

Speaker:

Have a listen and let us know what you think.

Speaker:

Hi, Jim Carella here, aka Jimbo Pickleball.

Speaker:

Today we're going to talk about the mysterious third shot.

Speaker:

What does that mean?

Speaker:

So the third shot just refers to the sequence of the order of which has been hit.

Speaker:

Service 1, return us to, obviously the third shot is 3.

Speaker:

Now what do you do?

Speaker:

Do you drive or drop?

Speaker:

That's what you always hear.

Speaker:

So do what you feel comfortable with.

Speaker:

The drop will take a while to learn.

Speaker:

The drive will come very instinctively.

Speaker:

If you are driving, drive down the middle, try to keep it as low as possible.

Speaker:

Makes it a little more difficult for your opponents.

Speaker:

Alright, hope this clears up that mystery.

Speaker:

And as always, happy pickling.

Speaker:

Well, there you have it.
