Agencies supporting outdoor events, vulnerable populations and utility load planning should review local NWS hazard products and heatrisk messaging for timing and locations In Alaska and Hawaii, USGS volcano monitoring updates remain operationally relevant the Alaska Volcano Observatory reports elevated activity at the ATKA Volcano complex with Korovin highlighted as most likely source if explosive activity occurs.

While Great Sitkin continues slow lava eruption within the Summit crater in Hawaii, Kilauea remains at Watch Orange with the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory daily update noting current status and monitoring observations in the Atlantic East Pacific basins.

The National Hurricane center notes no active tropical cyclones at this time and continues routine tropical weather discussions during the off season as needed.
