You know, these past couple weeks, we've been talking about how to choose a niche.

This is actually day ten, the conclusion of the second week, and we've, we've gone through a lot of information.

If you confuse both, go back and listen to another, the prior episodes, because we laid out a lot of information for you.

And now it's time to move on here beginning next week.

But today, let me go ahead and share this screen here for you.

We want to look at what we got going on here.

All right, this time, I won't forget to put a little thing down here so you can see me.

Hallelujah.

So we want to talk about another area where you can research hot topics.

I mean, that's what we've been talking about.

And every one of these training sessions are building upon the other.

Okay.

Last time we shared how to use infomercials as a source of ideas on possible niches that you can look into.

Today, I want to expand on that just a little bit.

All right.

Another place you can go is the business success magazines like Fortune and magazine.

Fortune magazine, Success magazine, Entrepreneur magazine.

There's a bunch of them out there.

Just go to your local bookstore, not the small one, but the big one.

Okay?

The biggest bookstore in your area.

Take a drive, buy a copy of every one of those magazines.

You know, you can write it off as a business expense because of your business research.

I mean, I've.

I've done this before.

I've gone in and bought a stack of those magazines.

You read them, study them, look in the back at the index or the.

All the classified ads, and it's amazing what you can learn when you're reading.

Look for common themes, though.

You know, 20 magazines, 17 of them have an article on the same topic this month.

That's not a coincidence.

What's hot in the world this month?

That particular topic.

Right.

Why do 17 out of 20 business magazines have an article on one topic?

Now, what would be funny is if you buy one every single month for an entire year, you'd find out that the same topic is featured almost every single month.

Hmm.

Why?

It's a hot topic and people are buying it and it sells.

They'll continue to feature it until sales slow down.

Then what do they do?

They find the next hot topic and run with that until those sales slow down, then they do it again and again and again and again.

You can take a lesson from all that.

Amen.

Somebody.

Somebody just had an aha moment right there.

Praise God.

Now, if you pay attention to this, you'll see there are multiple topics that work the exact same way across different magazines.

It works the same way with advertising.

If you find an advertiser that's advertising, one of those small business magazines, it doesn't tell you very much.

Oh, they wrote a check for a $1,000.

No big deal for a big company.

But if you find that the same advertiser is in all 20 magazines running the exact same ad, now, what does it tell you?

They're making money with that ad.

Okay, folks, you know, I'm giving a lot of information this week, so you can do some brainstorming.

Now, don't set it aside.

Wait till later.

Just jump in and do it.

You know, by the way, all we talk about was a small business niche, but you could be in any niche.

You know, you're, if you're in weight loss, you're in pets, you're in scrapbooking, crocheting, you're into fast cars or into computers, weightlifting, it works the exact same way.

You want to find out what's hot in the computer world?

Pick up 20 computer magazines and see the similarities, the commonalities.

Want to find out what's hot in the crafts world?

Pick up all the craft magazines.

There's a bunch of them.

You want to find out what's hot in the equestrian world?

There might only be three or four magazines there.

Buy all of them.

Even if you have to write them, you know, to receive them or something.

Buy them online.

If you can't buy them at your local bookstore, buy them online.

You want to find out what's hot in the dog training world?

Buy all the dog training magazines.

Want to find out what's hot in weightlifting?

There's like ten or 15 different magazines out there about that.

Buy them all every month for six months.

See what topic is in each one of them each and every month.

See who the advertisers are in each one of them each and every month.

There's a reason they're there, right?

You'll know what's hot by the time you finish this.

Be sure to look at the corresponding websites for these magazines as well.

Not just the magazines, but the advertisers, and you'll see what's hot.

All right.

Look at who's advertising in those magazines.

Check them all out.

Go to their website, you'll find out what they promote.

It must be working or else they wouldn't be doing a month after month after month, year after year after year.

Amen.

This can be done in every single niche.

It doesn't matter what niche you are in.

It doesn't matter if there's a.

If there's a market for it, you will be able to find it.

Amen.

If there's anything at all being done in that niche, you can research it.

Look at the commonalities.

Now let's review what we talked about.

Books, magazines, infomercials, right?

We talked about those podcasts, videos.

You can let your mind run wild with all the other places that you'll be able to go to get information because it is out there.

And this infer, this is the information age right now.

It's out there.

Just do the research and dive in with your topic and test it.

Amen.
