Welcome back to another episode of health hacks as I continue talking about the benefits of detoxing. And today I want to share with you two of the benefits that I hear most often when I have clients that I'm guiding through a functional medicine detox. And one of those is better sleep because our body detoxes overnight. And when we support our liver and kidneys, being able to do the job they're supposed to do, they can do that more easily. And our body isn't waking us up when it's struggling to be detoxing. And also in the guided program that I take people through, I have them intermittent fasting overnight. And that ensures that when they go to sleep, that their body isn't still in digestion mode, and therefore it has more time for detoxing overnight. And another benefit I hear a lot is improved mental clarity, because detoxing can sharpen your mental focus and reduce brain fog. And that therefore improves cognitive function. And something that I also hear very frequently is that people don't even realize they have brain fog, until they start detoxing. And it's like the fog lifts. And they have this renewed clarity. And so if detoxing is something that you haven't done in a really long time, you might want to consider a detox program because we do live in a toxic world.
