I've taught this living your design curriculum to several live cohorts over the last few years, and I've witnessed it spark profound shifts in awareness for my students.

Here on the Living Year Design podcast, I'm releasing the audio from the entire course for free. I originally recorded these lectures for my second live cohort of LYD students in 2023, and these lectures have been the basis of the curriculum for all of my human design students since then. I have been sitting with this [00:01:00] idea to release the audio from my course.

For a while, maybe close to a year at this point, and I'm gonna share just a little bit of context around how I arrived here, as well as some notes to help clarify what it is you're going to be listening to in all subsequent episodes of the LYD podcast after this one. So, to start with a little bit of the story of how I got here.

Like I said, I've been toying with feeling into this idea of taking my LYD course and just releasing it into the world more freely, but also specifically in a way that has a lower access point to me personally. Been sitting with that for a while and it's connected to some bigger stuff that I've been sitting with for even longer.

Just about like my rhythms and accessibility to me and my hermitude and my. Heresy and my closed aura and my lack of consistent availability to [00:02:00] be in response with the world. As a non sacral, I tend to teach stuff when it's feeling like really alive in me, like freshly, radically integrated, and then once I've delivered it.

Once I've taught it, - if you're into astrology, I, I also think about this in correspondence to my first house disseminating Sagittarius moon as well, like especially being born under the disseminating lunar phase. It's like I like to share things after they've just become fully alive.

I've just fully integrated them and the fruit is ripe. The disseminating moon phase is likened to the fruiting of a plant phase, and so releasing that fruit. I like to teach when when the fruit has just become fresh and ripe and ready to be shared. And then once I've shared it one or two or maybe three times, it's even more deeply rooted in my system that it doesn't feel as on [00:03:00] the surface, and I don't feel as skilled at being able to articulate whatever concept it is as, as I did during my first one or two or three transmissions of it. And so I've arrived to that point with these foundational concepts within the human design system where, you know, I think learning human design and learning anything really, especially these cosmic languages that really recalibrate our awareness and recalibrate our, our somatic experiences - Astrology and human design included - They happen in a spiralic way. And so I, I think it's still, I, I find that I, I still enjoy and bring some level of value to people who are just becoming initiated into this system when they engage with me live. But I've kind of like moved on in a way where, what I'm interested in right now, again, right now being August of 2025, is.

In part [00:04:00] more advanced components of the human design system. I've been enjoying teaching Human Design in Color with my collaborator, Allyson Forseth. I recently taught a class on global cycles and the 2027 shift with collaborator Jessa Reed, which can be purchased at

Jessareed.com/2027 and Allison and I are gonna be teaching a class on circuitry in human design shortly. And Allison and I are gonna be releasing our future co-teaching endeavors through wavelength, and you can find us on Instagram at Wavelength World. Eventually we'll have a website. But anyways, yeah, I'm getting into teaching more advanced human design topics, but I also have been enjoying collaborating with people, not specifically or directly in human design contexts exclusively, but kind of having a, almost like a gentle prerequisite that the people that I work with [00:05:00] as students, as mentees, but also in a lot of ways as peers and collaborators. Lately, I'm in a season of wanting to work with people who have the kind of radical awareness and self-responsibility that being in your human design experiment offers you. I've also found that I've taught so many people, I've initiated so many people into the human design system at this point, that some of my favorite people to work with as students and mentees, but also more and more so as peers and collaborators are people that have been through my courses.

And so I'm starting to focus my attention on either teaching more advanced topics within human design and also, and or either also working with people who have already assimilated this foundational knowledge in a very intense and radical way to create art, to explore new ways of being in community and being in creation together.

And that leaves me with a big question mark around if or how I will ever [00:06:00] formally teach LYD again. But I still want my LYD curriculum to reverberate. I still want people to be able to have access to it, but something about just like selling a 300 plus dollars course without any access to me, or touchpoint to me or without me - not being able to help people apply it to their own design, like that didn't feel right. And so I've been playing with this idea of just letting anyone who's interested have access to the audio and then building a different kind of structure for potentially working with people more intimately in a little more high touch, more access way beyond that- but still making just the, the audio curriculum free and easily available. And like I said, I've, like I've said several times now, I've been sitting with that for a while and it's all just kind of coming to fruition this summer. So yeah. I'm gonna talk a little bit about what. That's gonna look like in regards to [00:07:00] accessing the curriculum via the audio of the curriculum via this podcast, and potentially working more closely with me on the new community space that I'm building on my refreshed revised remixed Patreon.

Part of the reason that I kept circulating back with my emotional authority, that I kept kind of like feeling back around to wanting to just have a place where people could tap into my, my Living Your Design curriculum for free, through my voice, my transmission of it, is because I want there to be more high quality and thorough, and radical and honest, and really embodied foundational information about human design out there in my corner of the internet or in the corner of the internet that I inhabit.

I want there to be more people accessing this mind shattering, revolutionary, somatic, cosmic body of knowledge from a place of humility, surrender, and [00:08:00] differentiation. And I think that my course facilitates that. I don't wanna speak for every resource out there, but I know that a lot of the free intro content that I've seen specifically in like on like social media and YouTube and stuff around human design is not great.

A lot of it is like very distorted by the ego mind. I don't necessarily think there "should" be really there like needs to be or should quotation marks around should. Anytime I use the word should, there's always quotations, marks around it. I don't think that there necessarily has to be or should be like free access to the course because the people teaching this course deserve to be paid.

However, I'm not going to keep launching my course in the way that I have in the past for that type of exchange. At this point, that would be inorganic to me. It would not be sustainable. It would be depleting. I don't wanna do it. As I've mentioned several times, I am feeling drawn to initiate new creative ways to apply this body of knowledge, but I want my [00:09:00] course to still have impact.

I want people who would resonate with my voice, my expression of it, which I am proud of, and I do believe in. I want people to have access to that, and so I'm just experimenting. Well, and also I guess I wanna name that I'm also wanting to experiment with being more generous. Less guarded with my own work and voice.

For the past several years, it's felt very comfortable and safe and aligned for me to kind of keep my transmission of human design behind a paywall and keep access to me behind a paywall, which that piece, I guess I still kind of am going to do because the podcast itself doesn't give you access to me in real time.

My attention on you personally in real time, but it, but what it does do is it makes my delivery, my transmission of the system accessible to more people. And that's something that I'm interested in being the case. So out of my desire for there to be more high quality human design content, more freely accessible and out of my own [00:10:00] inner call to experiment with being more generous and less guarded with my work.

Fractal: here it is. I'm sharing my original LYD teachings with whoever wants to tune into them. And part of this like experiment in open-heartedness and less guardedness and generosity with my work includes my experience of knowing that there's gonna be people out there listening to something that I don't think is perfect.

Natal south node in Virgo in the 10th and current transiting south node in Virgo in my 10th as well. So this is a bit of a practice in clearing perfectionism for myself, releasing something into the world, even though I know it's not perfect. Before, when I kept it behind a paywall and kept it with people who were recognizing and inviting me individually into their lives with a higher time investment, a higher cost investment, I felt like there was space for me to relax a little bit around the imperfections of the course. It was not originally recorded for public consumption, and [00:11:00] so it is, yeah, it is a bit of a heart opening practice for me and a surrender practice for me to release something I know is not perfect into the wild in this way.

Yeah, there's certain times I like listen to it and cringe a little bit. The way that I use the word orient or orientation, an average of like three times per sentence, and more often than not, my sentence structure is completely sacrificed in favor of stream of conscious, flow. And some of my understandings and opinions about these fundamentals in human design have evolved in the years since I first recorded these lectures.

But all of that aside, or all of that in included, it is an honest, grounded, and comprehensive transmission. I recorded these lectures at a moment when these foundational concepts were freshly deeply integrated into my awareness and into my system, and I was at the peak of my ability to transmit these foundational concepts with potency and with aliveness. I think these lectures will meet you where you're at and [00:12:00] speak to the parts of you that are ready to see beyond or more beyond the veil of your unique illusion.

Whether you're listening because you're just starting your human design journey, and my voice, my expression, and my frequency resonates with you, or maybe you're seeking to just fill in some gaps in your self-study, or maybe you're already a deeply studied human design experimenter or practitioner, and you're seeking a different perspective than the ones you've taken in.

So again, this podcast is just the audio, but there's video and [00:13:00] visual references as well, slides and PDFs. And also my archived and ongoing live teachings that incorporate my work with human design, but also astrology yoga, and the, the various other spiritual frameworks and modalities that I've assimilated in my many years on this path.

And I'm gonna share more details with you inside of this short intro episode about how to engage more deeply and intentionally with the content in this course specifically and with my work at large and with me personally. But first, I wanna deliver a few notes. It'll help to clarify and contextualize some of what you'll hear in the remaining episodes of the LYD podcast.

This episode's the only one that I'm recording fresh. Everything else is a direct audio extraction from the course and was recorded in 2023. Because these audios are pulled from the course that was originally recorded on video with slides and lots of visual aids. There will be moments in the audio that feel a bit disjointed.

Sometimes I read directly from a [00:14:00] slide or reference a section of bullet points or a section of something visual, and it might not make perfect sense with the audio only. I think there are moments where it's gonna feel unclear and disjointed. There's also times when I mention course units, I'll say, "in this unit," and I'm not referring necessarily to this episode, and I don't, it doesn't really get clarified in the audio exactly what point I'm talking about.

So in other words, the way that the episodes are laid out on the podcast don't correspond perfectly to the way that the course is being delivered in the original curriculum. So just wanna like, give you a heads up that there are, there gonna be moments probably where things don't feel super clear in that way.
