Speaker A

Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda and Today, wherever you are now, if you're driving, you can just stay where you are.

Speaker A

But if you are at home or in the office or someplace that you can move your body and still listen to my voice, please do.

Speaker A

Because I want you to stand up.

Speaker A

That's right.

Speaker A

I want you to stand up if you're able.

Speaker A

If you're not, that's okay.

Speaker A

You can just do it in your mind.

Speaker A

Or if you're sitting down, you can do it the best way you can.

Speaker A

Basically, I want you to touch your toes.

Speaker A

That's right.

Speaker A

I'd love you to stand up and then touch your toes without bending your knees or bending your knees just a little tiny bit.

Speaker A

That's right.

Speaker A

I just want you to stretch.

Speaker A

Now, we have a tool called stretch risk or die.

Speaker A

And sometimes our stretches are emotional, sometimes they're mental, sometimes they're physical, and sometimes they're spiritual.

Speaker A

And today I want us to use our bodies to start embodying.

Speaker A

Stretchers could die on a new level.

Speaker A

So, you know, I could touch my toes with flat hands when I was younger.

Speaker A

That's changed over the years.

Speaker A

But how flat can your hands get?

Speaker A

Can you even touch your toes?

Speaker A

Some people can't because of the way that their body works.

Speaker A

So how far can you reach down?

Speaker A

Now, if you hurt yourself, obviously, please don't.

Speaker A

If it's in pain, please don't.

Speaker A

If you have some physical things that make this prohibitive, please don't.

Speaker A

And if you're able, just touch your toes as best you can.

Speaker A

Maybe you got to your knees, maybe you got all the way, your flat hands on the floor.

Speaker A

So just let yourself hang there, right?

Speaker A

Head in between your arms, down by your knees, perhaps just allow it to hang there freely.

Speaker A

Just see if you can actually relax your shoulder, shoulders and your back enough to let your head hang freely.

Speaker A

Now, again, if you're in pain, if this is not comfortable for you, please don't do this.

Speaker A

If it does and you don't feel comfortable touching your toes or attempting to touch your toes, then just go ahead and do something with your arms, maybe put them up to the sky and see how much you can stretch.

Speaker A

Or maybe put them outward.

Speaker A

Again, whatever feels comfortable to you.

Speaker A

It's not about whether you touch your toes or not.

Speaker A

It's about how much you stretch, how much you stretch.

Speaker A

Now, for some people, they stretch.

Speaker A

This is no big deal.

Speaker A

This is their comfort zone.

Speaker A

For other people, myself included, stretching right now is a stretch.

Speaker A

Risk or die, depending on where and how I'M stretching.

Speaker A

So I want to remind us that stretching, risking and dying can be an emotional, physical, mental or spiritual stretch, risk or die.

Speaker A

And right now I'm just asking you to contemplate stretcher skin and die by using your body.

Speaker A

Where are you in your body right now?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable moving your body?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable hopping on one foot?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable leaning over to touch your toes?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable shaking your head in between your arms and loosening it?

Speaker A

What's a stretch risk or die when it comes to your body?

Speaker A

I want you to stop and ask yourself that right now.

Speaker A

And if you're still leaning over and attempting to touch your toes, you can now get up, have a seat if you'd like.

Speaker A

I want you to pay attention to your body today.

Speaker A

How comfortable are you in Are you with your body?

Speaker A

How comfortable are you in your body?

Speaker A

There have been times in my life where I'm very flexible and very connected to my body and other times that I've been very disconnected to my body.

Speaker A

So it's not that you get connected once and you're always connected, just like with emotional, mental and spiritual.

Speaker A

That is a continuous connection that we must work on, that we must cultivate, that we must court.

Speaker A

So I want you to be thinking about your stretchers can die today.

Speaker A

When it comes to your body, do you feel comfortable walking a mile, running a mile?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable doing yoga?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable stretching?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable dancing?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable on a treadmill?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable on a bike?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable walking up a mountain?

Speaker A

Do you feel comfortable?

Speaker A

Right, so where is that stretch risk or die for you?

Speaker A

Is it a stretch, risk or die for you to look in the mirror, eyeball to eyeball and tell yourself you love yourself?

Speaker A

Saying the words I love you eyeball to eyeballs at a stretcher's go die getting naked looking at yourself in the mirror, is that a stretchers or die?

Speaker A

Feeling comfortable touching your body, Is that a stretchersk or die looking at your body with gratitude and admiration, Is that a stretcher skir die?

Speaker A

Loving your body, Is that a stretcher skir die?

Speaker A

So today I'd like you to just embrace where you are with your body.

Speaker A

And it might be all those things, might be a die for you, might be a risk, might be a stretch, it might be all different things.

Speaker A

And that's okay.

Speaker A

It's just starting to have awareness about where we're comfortable and where we're not, where we're taking stretches and where we're not.

Speaker A

Where we're willing to take risks and where we're not, and where we're willing to take dies and where we're not.

Speaker A

That's just information that we have about ourselves, how secure we feel in ourselves, how much support we feel like we have, how courageous we are and how willing we are.

Speaker A

Because again, at different times in our life, we're willing to do different things.

Speaker A

So just take your body with you today.

Speaker A

Pay attention to it.

Speaker A

Practice loving it.

Speaker A

Until next time, be fearless.

Speaker A

I love you.
