Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda and Today, wherever you are now, if you're driving, you can just stay where you are.
Speaker ABut if you are at home or in the office or someplace that you can move your body and still listen to my voice, please do.
Speaker ABecause I want you to stand up.
Speaker AThat's right.
Speaker AI want you to stand up if you're able.
Speaker AIf you're not, that's okay.
Speaker AYou can just do it in your mind.
Speaker AOr if you're sitting down, you can do it the best way you can.
Speaker ABasically, I want you to touch your toes.
Speaker AThat's right.
Speaker AI'd love you to stand up and then touch your toes without bending your knees or bending your knees just a little tiny bit.
Speaker AThat's right.
Speaker AI just want you to stretch.
Speaker ANow, we have a tool called stretch risk or die.
Speaker AAnd sometimes our stretches are emotional, sometimes they're mental, sometimes they're physical, and sometimes they're spiritual.
Speaker AAnd today I want us to use our bodies to start embodying.
Speaker AStretchers could die on a new level.
Speaker ASo, you know, I could touch my toes with flat hands when I was younger.
Speaker AThat's changed over the years.
Speaker ABut how flat can your hands get?
Speaker ACan you even touch your toes?
Speaker ASome people can't because of the way that their body works.
Speaker ASo how far can you reach down?
Speaker ANow, if you hurt yourself, obviously, please don't.
Speaker AIf it's in pain, please don't.
Speaker AIf you have some physical things that make this prohibitive, please don't.
Speaker AAnd if you're able, just touch your toes as best you can.
Speaker AMaybe you got to your knees, maybe you got all the way, your flat hands on the floor.
Speaker ASo just let yourself hang there, right?
Speaker AHead in between your arms, down by your knees, perhaps just allow it to hang there freely.
Speaker AJust see if you can actually relax your shoulder, shoulders and your back enough to let your head hang freely.
Speaker ANow, again, if you're in pain, if this is not comfortable for you, please don't do this.
Speaker AIf it does and you don't feel comfortable touching your toes or attempting to touch your toes, then just go ahead and do something with your arms, maybe put them up to the sky and see how much you can stretch.
Speaker AOr maybe put them outward.
Speaker AAgain, whatever feels comfortable to you.
Speaker AIt's not about whether you touch your toes or not.
Speaker AIt's about how much you stretch, how much you stretch.
Speaker ANow, for some people, they stretch.
Speaker AThis is no big deal.
Speaker AThis is their comfort zone.
Speaker AFor other people, myself included, stretching right now is a stretch.
Speaker ARisk or die, depending on where and how I'M stretching.
Speaker ASo I want to remind us that stretching, risking and dying can be an emotional, physical, mental or spiritual stretch, risk or die.
Speaker AAnd right now I'm just asking you to contemplate stretcher skin and die by using your body.
Speaker AWhere are you in your body right now?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable moving your body?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable hopping on one foot?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable leaning over to touch your toes?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable shaking your head in between your arms and loosening it?
Speaker AWhat's a stretch risk or die when it comes to your body?
Speaker AI want you to stop and ask yourself that right now.
Speaker AAnd if you're still leaning over and attempting to touch your toes, you can now get up, have a seat if you'd like.
Speaker AI want you to pay attention to your body today.
Speaker AHow comfortable are you in Are you with your body?
Speaker AHow comfortable are you in your body?
Speaker AThere have been times in my life where I'm very flexible and very connected to my body and other times that I've been very disconnected to my body.
Speaker ASo it's not that you get connected once and you're always connected, just like with emotional, mental and spiritual.
Speaker AThat is a continuous connection that we must work on, that we must cultivate, that we must court.
Speaker ASo I want you to be thinking about your stretchers can die today.
Speaker AWhen it comes to your body, do you feel comfortable walking a mile, running a mile?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable doing yoga?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable stretching?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable dancing?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable on a treadmill?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable on a bike?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable walking up a mountain?
Speaker ADo you feel comfortable?
Speaker ARight, so where is that stretch risk or die for you?
Speaker AIs it a stretch, risk or die for you to look in the mirror, eyeball to eyeball and tell yourself you love yourself?
Speaker ASaying the words I love you eyeball to eyeballs at a stretcher's go die getting naked looking at yourself in the mirror, is that a stretchers or die?
Speaker AFeeling comfortable touching your body, Is that a stretchersk or die looking at your body with gratitude and admiration, Is that a stretcher skir die?
Speaker ALoving your body, Is that a stretcher skir die?
Speaker ASo today I'd like you to just embrace where you are with your body.
Speaker AAnd it might be all those things, might be a die for you, might be a risk, might be a stretch, it might be all different things.
Speaker AAnd that's okay.
Speaker AIt's just starting to have awareness about where we're comfortable and where we're not, where we're taking stretches and where we're not.
Speaker AWhere we're willing to take risks and where we're not, and where we're willing to take dies and where we're not.
Speaker AThat's just information that we have about ourselves, how secure we feel in ourselves, how much support we feel like we have, how courageous we are and how willing we are.
Speaker ABecause again, at different times in our life, we're willing to do different things.
Speaker ASo just take your body with you today.
Speaker APay attention to it.
Speaker APractice loving it.
Speaker AUntil next time, be fearless.
Speaker AI love you.
